Great location, in the middle of everything that you could wish for. And right next to a big supermarket.
If you wanted a quiet night on the weekends, that wasn’t possible due to the loud music but it was nice to hear people having fun.

Away from the main road which mean it’s quiet, we didn’t get too much noise from the bars. Great location.
The walls are very thin between rooms, you can literally hear everything from the room next door.

Magnums feels like the centre of Airlie Beach, it’s huge - with a very big bar at the front and nightclub above that.
Great location, close to everything including big supermarket and few metres away.
Live music in the bar area each night
Cabins are great, almost hidden area in a ‘rainforest’ - it’s very unique, loved it.
It’s so annoying that it’s let down by the showers - which require you to turn the taps on for a minute on full blast to get heat. That would be fine but then adjusting them to a normal temperature is almost impossible. It feels like a pressure washer at scorching temperatures …. or cold, less/no pressure.
It’s such a great place to stay but the showers might be the worst I’ve ever found. Fix that and it’s 10/10.

Waking up and walking out to see the sun shining down through the trees was so special. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, not a bustling town. What a vibe!
No bedside lamp, only the super bright ceiling light.

The location was brilliant and it had all the necessary facilities.
The staff were lovely so not a bad word to say about them, but some of the properties

Location , kitchen facilities ,
It is a bit outdated - the rooms have a wooden boards on the walls (it’s more like cabin) which seems to be there for long time so it has a bit of smell (nothing terrible but still); also windows are really small so the rooms are quiet dark

The hostel is very nice, surrounded by green and tropical plants. The kitchen is big and well equipped, always very clean, and there are free places to do barbecue around the area. The room is clean and nice and the bathroom also very clean. Definitely recommend it!

Loved the jungle feel to the whole resort, the reception staff was so lovely and welcoming, the location is the best you can get for airlie beach
Walls were paper thin, I could hear everything next door were saying and they weren’t being loud. The bathrooms feel very open, and big gaps under the door for the toilets

The Villa accomodation is in a lovely rainforest environment that you don’t see from the street. Even though it is close to a very noisy nightspot, the noise in the room is acceptable. As a nightspot, the venue is obviously very popular. The staff in the reception were really helpful and the location is central.

Beautiful surrounds and right in the centre of town. It was a short walk to supermarkets, bottle shops, clubs, restaurants, and shopping outlets.
Didn’t have much in the way of communal food supplies in the kitchen. Hostels I’ve visited in the past have supplied salt, pepper, and oil for guests to use. Would have made using the kitchen more of an option

The room smelled musty.
The kitchen close so early in the night and open a little bit late in the morning.

Such a beautiful place to stay, being amongst the trees/nature felt like we were staying in the jungle. Kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. Loads of outdoor seating areas with fairy lights everywhere. The bar connected was always buzzing with live music and lots of people.

The hostel is right in the middle of the heart of airlie beach but set back from the road amongst the jungle. Everything was super clean, the kitchen was so so clean and well organised! And the stay was so cheap (just had the standard twin room), aircon and kettle in the room too and $5 pppn bag storage for our boat trip. Not noisy either. Thanks so much!
It was all great

Close to everything with great facilities for the price. The set up is amazing, like a jungle right off the high street. super close to the supermarket as well.
Good showers and enough of them for the number of rooms shared between.
No pool but not a problem as the lagoon very near by.

Great location in the heart of the village, all the bars, restaurants, Woolworths supermarket and beach within a 5 min walk. Set in a beautiful tropical garden. I booked a room with a shared bathroom and toilets. It is set up the way that 6 double bed rooms share 2 toilets and 2 showers. The facilities were always clean and free. The room includes a fridge, a kettle and basic kitchenware. Enough to make a breakfast there.
Wifi available only in some dedicated spots. Although I had wifi available in my room up to around 8pm (not sure why?
