Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding perfect.

The staff were exceptional, friendly and very attentive. We travelled from Texas, and they were able to speak English with us. Although they do like you to try to speak some German. You will love the tranquility and the people. The food is amazing !!! We couldn’t wait to eat breakfast and see Tina, she is a ray of sunshine. But all of the staff are truly awesome! We will definitely be going back!
My only complaint would be the shower was a little slippery. But we put down a towel to remedy that.

We would definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed here because we wanted to do the 'Roman walk' in Kordel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the beds were comfortabele and the breakfast, which you can get for €9, was delicious with great coffee (which can really make or break my day, so big plus :D) You can have dinner in the restaurant. Even if you want to have a small meal... I ordered a small salad with some fries to give you an example :) While eating you have a lovely view on the parc across. Go and take a walk in this parc in the morning! It's lovely. And the most important thing: Our dog was welcome! Not only in our room but also during the meals.
Maybe a bottle of water in the room :)

The view over the river is great. Beds are good, bathroom is pleasant. Heating works perfect, you can get to the right temperature within half an hour. Big enough balcony, the room size was extraordinary (we didn't expect it to be that big). A restaurant downstairs is a plus.
Just a few small things: no towel hangers in the bathroom; no wifi (?), and we struggled to keep the balcony doors closed (the wind kept opening them). Also, in a spacious room like this one, a small fridge and a set of cutlery would be a nice addition (it was not promised though so it is more of a suggestion).
For dog owners: dogs are allowed but you pay extra 15e for the cleaning costs.

We stayed in this hotel to hike in Mullerthal! It's ideal because it's right next to the border (10-15 minutes by car). The hotel is really charming. We also ate very well for very reasonable prices. The rooms have been recently renovated. Just be careful if you go there now, you have to have the booster (third dose vaccine) to have access to the hotel or do a test there (we didn't have a covid test with us so they gave us 2 for 2€ per test, which is really cheap)

Friendly and helpful all-lady staff with a family feeling to it. A safe place for solo traveling women. Clean rooms and bathrooms with hot water, clean towels. Comfy bed, bug enough for 2. Spacious rooms. The deluxe bedroom had a personal small balcony with a green grass path leading to the park and river. Nice and peaceful view. Really delicious meals at the restaurant, not that many but delicious vegetarian options, reasonable prices. A quiet, safe and all around nice place basically on the boarder with Luxemburg. You can walk to Luxemburg (3min). Possibly a cheaper option if you want to travel in/to Luxemburg. 15-20 Min. car ride to Teufelsschlucht, Felsenweiher and other tourist locations.
Everything was great.

Kind people, spacious rooms and good food.
Bar, terrace and restaurant was closed on Monday while we were not informed in advance of booking (website also shows it is open). So there was not really a lot to do around the hotel. This was important for us because we were traveling with a baby.

Breakfast was really good (very good value for money)

Very friendly staff in a typical German Gasthof (for a Brit!). Food was of a very high standard and well presented. Breakfast was individual (Covid!) but varied and of a very high quality. My room was massive. Location overlooking the Sauer (Sûre) is very impressive.
Everything good or better. I hope i can return.

Great lake view, very friendly, all you need for a clean spacious room and tasty breakfast. Ideal place to stay close to Echternach.
