Nice pub and room.

Nice olde worlde pub and room to match, access through a quaint narrow windy staircase - which would not suit less mobile people.. Very friendly staff, good beer. Bathroom was nice size and the bed very comfortable. Good parking available.

Lack of cooked breakfast option was disappointing, reasonable continental breakfast on offer. Curiously no wardrobe or chest of draws in the room so limited space for hanging clothes.

Was ok but food over priced and room very cramped

Room was clean but very small

Wi didn’t work the food is very over priced 2 steak burgers and chips and one soft drink 45 pounds also wasn’t told guests could get dinner for 16 pounds room was very small and difficult to close door and lock it also difficult to get to the room up small stairs and then up more small stairs like into an attic

Queen room - not fit for a peasant. Couldn't sleep a wink due to vibrating fridge below!!

Extremely rude owner, Paid extra to be in the "Queen room" - no 1. Located directly above the walk in fridge from the pub downstairs and has a constant droning noise + vibration, it's horrendous and kept me up all night how they think this is acceptable is beyond me.

Delightful stay at the quaint country Inn a few miles from Silverstone track.

I arrived VERY late, and they could not have done more for me, despite not being a 24 hour Inn. A proper bath, enabling a great relaxing soak in the morning. very comfy bed

from the moment we arrived Annie Nathan and claudio made us feel special looked after us made us feel very welcome too!

the location friendliness of staff, the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable very happy staff who couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay!

there was nothing they could have done more for us to be honest it was a great place to stay!

Disappointing

Room was a decent size. Good shower. Wifi worked ok. Food in the bar/restaurant is ok.

I booked this place in part because of the very positive reviews on booking.com, but the reality did not match them. It closes on Sunday afternoon, so if you arrive on Sunday evening, there are no food or drink options available. My 'deluxe King suite' had no wardrobe or space to hang clothes other than a single hook in the wall. There was one upright chair and a tiny table, but no easy chair. Housekeeping is minimal; beds get made and towels are changed, BUT bins are not emptied, bathroom supplies are not replenished, and used cups or glasses are often left and not replaced. Breakfast is an unstaffed DIY affair; there is a very limited range of choices, and on two out of three mornings, the electricity tripped out, which meant that the kettle and toaster (and internet) stopped working (make sure you have the phone no for the landlord so you can get the power reset).

Booking.com overcharged me by £40, I have screenshot evidence of this but they refused to refund me despite calling them

Minus three degrees outside, the heating wasn’t on because apparently I was supposed to check in before I got there and the heating didn’t work very well once it was on.

A great place to stay for weekend visiting friends

Dinner with friends was excellent and good value for money. The continental breakfast was a good selection in nice surroundings. Our room was clean and nicely decorated if a little quirky

Great Inn

Great Inn away from the big city life. A lovely retreat with a great restaurant ( we had our dinner just next to the fireplace on a cold autumn evening - it was super lovely) , cozy bar and refurbished rooms - the bed was extremely comfortable. The host was lovely and friendly, trying his best to make us feel at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway outside the city.

Good

The location was chosen as we were visiting the Silverstone Circuit the next day. Food was good which we ate in our room. The room and bathroom were comfortable however no hand soap was provided!!

As in most accommodation in England (I believe) there was no air condition and the window had to be wedged open as it would not stay open. Very hot evening which made our overnight stay very uncomfortable. No hand soap was provided/available in the bathroom!!

Stay was ok but could be improved .

Bed very comfortable, helpful staff , nice building relaxed atmosphere.

Bathroom too small cheap toiletries , cheap hospitality tray ie UHT milk no hairdryer. No cooked breakfast no staff on in the morning basically help yourself to what little there was there .

Quaint little village but in middle of no where , facilities were good if only want a night stay ove

The room was lovely, large bed very comfortable. The bathroom was very big nice separate bath tub and very large shower , we ate dinner in pub area down stairs, food very tasty and we'll presented, staff very sociable and friendly.

Breakfast was self service, choice of bread for toast, fruit, croissants tea and coffee , no staff around or chance of hot cooked breakfast was a disappointment.
