Location and garden are lovely. . Welcome wine and milk. Information pack useful. Lovely and warm with hot water and good shower.
Kitchen consumable basics could have helped and sharp kitchen knives needed.

Location great and village had two pubs that served good pub food.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay in this very clean and comfortable cottage in a quiet picturesque village with amenities. There were a lot of nice touches including a bottle of wine! Everything we could possibly need for a relaxing holiday was there. The garden would be great in warmer weather.
We had good nights' sleep in the comfortable beds. We were out and about during the day and ate in the village pubs in the evenings. The village is ideally situated for visiting the surrounding pretty villages and Chatsworth House.
Everything was great at the cottage, however I had a disappointing end to my stay regarding parking.
I had parked by a wall on the side of the narrow road higher up between two cars, and I left a note on view with the address where I was staying, in case anyone needed to contact me. It wasn't opposite a front door or blocking anything.
After our two night stay ended, when I returned to my car there was a note under the windscreen wiper, written in large capitals "Do me a favour. Leave your address so I can come + leave my car outside your house for a few days". No name or number left.
I'm only flagging this up to alert visitors. My friend parked to the left of Lees Cottage after I asked the gentleman living nearby if it was ok there, so I was considerate..

Location, comfort, garden.
Problem with key safe on arrival. Toaster kept fusing. Maybe needs more crockery, cutlery etc

Set on a really beautiful location. The cottage is self contained and has everything you need for a short stay.
Having discovered where the toaster was located and witching it on it tripped the electric. I managed to sort this out. Tap in kitchen drips constantly.
Some of the drawers were dusty and slightly dirty inside but this is being overly critical.
Had to park further down the hill but was aware that I may not be able to park directly outside the cottage before I booked.

Great location in a quiet village with good facilities including small supermarket. Cottage was warm and cosy.

Location. Complimentary bottle of wine and milk :) View from back bedroom window.
There was an issue with the shower, but this could be easily fixed hopefully.

A very comfy and cosy little property, in a good location to explore the Peak District.
Wifi a little dodgy at times. Toilet seat a bit wobbly.

Clean well equipped cottage. Milk and Wine in the fridge to welcome us were much appreciated. Comfortable beds. Well placed for visiting tourist attractions.
Enough room for the three of us, but perhaps a touch small for 4 people.

The location, the little details in the house that make the difference, we had everything we needed.
The shower is indeed a little bit problematic, but we managed well.

The location was fabulous. Fabulous garden with backdrop straight to the hills. Very clean and comfortable. After a long walk it was great to come back to the little quaint clean cottage.
No WiFi even though there was a code. Didn't really bother us but might for others

Great location, Coop just down the road and walks/runs from the door. Warm and cosy, we enjoyed the wood burner. Great shower! Comfortable beds.
More wood for the fire please! Parking could be easier.

Excellent location quiet, have everything we required. Well equipped. Village had amenities within walking distance, and short car journey to nearby villages.
Parking not available outside if other residents there first. but on street parking available a short walk away, not always in the same place twice.

Two good sized bedrooms with comfy beds, nice lounge with smart tv, and a smallish kitchen diner. Excellent shower. Lovely garden with fantastic views. Short walk to the viiage centre and well placed for a variety of walks in the surrounding countryside.
Parking was not easy close to the cottage, and not allowed directly in front (tractors need to pass!). But we easily found a space within a couple of hundred metres. The wifi was rather slow at times. We were two people but we thought the cottage would have been a little cramped for more. This would not be a problem if the weather was good as the garden was so nice.

Location in Bradwell was very good with very nice scenic views from the rear of the property. Local pubs and shops in easy walking distance.

We had a beautiful stay, the hosts lived next door to the property, very friendly, they left a bottle of wine for our arrival and were at hand if needed. Everything was available that we needed during our stay, the cottage was homely and very welcoming. Couldn’t recommend this property enough if you’re looking for a perfect stay in the Peak District! 3 great pubs within walking distance and Winnats pass just down the road, great location. 10/10 from us.
