Excellent stay in a lovely flat.

The property is in the centre of the village, close to amenities and the station. Very comfortable with everything we needed.

Fantastic short trip in a beautiful part of the country.

Plenty of room for a couple, comfortable and peaceful. Nice location, good privacy, unexpected milk, tea, coffee and snacks on arrival. Nice pub a moderate walk away.

A great little first floor apartment to use as a base to explore the Peak

For us it was a convenient location for visiting family but also ideal if you are looking to explore the Peak District

for a family of four with luggage it was a little smaller than we needed or maybe we had too much luggage

Weekend retreat from the passing storms.

Completely relaxed after a stress free weekend here. Personal welcome by gracious hosts. Lovely private & quiet setting. Hill views in both directions. Chippy & local store 30 second walk away. Well equipped kitchen, & well proportioned clean rooms. The terrace, log burner + hotel quality bedsheets put the cherry on top. We felt far away from city life, yet only 30 mins from home.

Perhaps the mattress & sofas are less firm than what we're used to. No wifi instructions spotted.

Home from home in a beautiful location

A lovely homely apartment. Spotlessly clean and very warm and welcoming when we arrived on a cold night. Nice little touches - tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. Will definitely come back when visiting family.

Perfect base for exploring the area

The apartment was comfortable, well equipped for relaxing or cooking and very cosy. The deep balcony had a lovely view and was very sheltered allowing us to use it even on the windy days. Our hosts were great - very friendly and helpful but never intrusive. Beds very comfortable! Finally we loved the village with pub, Indian restaurant, two cafes, chilly and convenience store all just over the road. Great tracks for running as well. We do hope to be back sometime.

I would have liked brighter light bulbs in all rooms particularly the kitchen. But that is being picky! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect holiday stay in Chinley

Perfect location in the centre of Chinley. The apartment had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. We appreciated the tea, milk and biscuits which were waiting for us on arrival. In the evening, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. The host was kind and helpful. We would stay here again.

Relaxing, peaceful visit to a beautiful part of the High Peak district.

Great location in a quiet village with supermarket a few yards from the door. Well-equipped first floor flat with balcony overlooking lovely back garden and view in the distance. Friendly host who had left tea, coffee, milk and biscuits for our arrival. Convenient location for walks and trips. Had dinner in excellent pubs and restaurants in Chinley, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Whaley Bridge.

We loved the accommodation - it had everything you could want - and more besides.

The location was perfect. The views from the windows were out of this world - a lovely spot for a short break to take in some beautiful scenery and good walks
