Niet hygiënisch

Poep in de wc, niet doorgespoeld Vlekken in beddengoed en handdoeken Haren in de douche Oncomfortabel bed, twijfelaar model en erg hard Onvriendelijk personeel wat gebrekkig Engels spreekt en waarvan je door een Ring Videodeurbel een code moet krijgen om je sleutels te krijgen

Avoid unless you are desperate. An absolute dump. Couldn’t wait to leave.

It was in a good location. On a bus route into the centre of town. We managed to get a parking space.

The pictures shown on the website are nothing like the rooms available. It is really shabby and run-down. No-one to check you in or out. Emailed them in advance but no reply. TV was tiny and didn’t work. Bathroom was old and had stains. A large damp patch in the corner of the bedroom.

It was OK

It was simple to get the city centre

Compare to other accommodations it looks expensive. It was no reception so took additional half an hour to get in after a long trip.

Passable for 1 night only

The location was okay. The owner was pleasant and came to assist with an earlier check in. There was coffee and tea and the tv worked.

Check in and out is cold and unreassuring because there isn't a desk. There are only key boxes and if you turn up early, even when specified, you have to call the owner. The bed was semi-comfortable. The room was tired and in need of a refresh on the walls. The shared bathroom (wasn't keen, but at least there was a sink in the room) was tired and in need of repair for both the toilet and the base of the shower where the white coating was clearly peeling off. It also needed a bit more cleaning around the rims. No breakfast at £120 was steep, I would expect breakfast for that price, but I needed a room. The hostess tray, although had tea and coffee was lacking biscuits or some type of confectionery. Edinburgh is in actual fact getting too expensive nowadays and it is all becoming greedy at Fringe time.

Great for a weekend stay, good value and amazingly helpful friendly staff

Staff friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags at the property after we checked out and collect them later in the day. 😁

Noisy toilet and shower in attic room. We showered quite late and were concerned for the people in the room next to us as it was so loud.

Not what was really expected from a guest house

Near a bus station.

Nobody to receive you at the guest house. No instructions on what to do upon arrival. No mention of 3 storeys and possibility of steps to climb to your room with heavy suitcases. No info in the room on the wi fi pasword or somebody to ask how to use local travel such as busss. More like a air b and b tgan a guesthouse.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, clean.

It was a bit of a ways from the Waverly station, but to be fair, we also arrived late a night with detours from construction going on. Bus stop very near to location though so very easy to get around.

Good sized room and bathroom. Facilities in room were good. Although not in middle of town it was not that far to walk.

Very friendly stuff. The check-in is very easy. Although it is located quite far from the city centre, the bus stop is very near and the bus connection is great.

It was quite cold in the room.
