Not worth the price. No serices and not clean

I recently had a disappointing stay at the Reck’s resort and feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a relaxing getaway turned into a series of frustrations. Parking: While there is adequate parking for motorbikes, it seems vehicular considerations were the least of our worries. Check-in Experience: Upon arrival at 12:30, there was no staff available to assist with check-in. I was informed that staff would be available only after 2:00 pm. This was a recurring issue as the reception area often seemed deserted. Reception: The staff at reception were notably impolite, which only added to the unwelcome atmosphere. Luggage Handling: There was no one available to assist with luggage, leaving us to manage on our own. Room Conditions: The room was not prepared to the standards one would expect. It was dusty and uncomfortably hot since the air conditioning wasn't left on. The towels had an unpleasant odor and appeared unclean. Additionally, the bed was sandy, and I was horrified when a bug fell from the ceiling onto me during the night. Air Conditioning: The air conditioner was ineffective, requiring the constant use of fans. Despite reporting the issue to reception, I was merely told to set it to 24 degrees without any attempt to investigate or resolve the problem. Daily Cleaning: Housekeeping was nonexistent unless requested, and even then, the staff were uncooperative and dismissive. They claimed water shortages as an excuse for the lack of cleaning, which was surprising given my previous visits to the island without such issues. But this was a big deal while I was there for six nights Pool Availability: The pool was only open on one day of my six-night stay. It remained closed the rest of the time due to getting dirty from a storm, which was a major disappointment. I had chosen this resort for its proximity to the kitesurfing school, but this proved to be a regrettable decision. Every day seemed to bring new inconveniences.

it was paradise

I absolutely loved the location. it was right on the beach, the staff were so accommodating to me. I lost my phone and instantly they contacted all of the taxi companies and one of the other memebers of staffs went out their way to track down my phone. the food was great. they were honestly just incredible people.

I loved everything.

Location was good.

Everywhere was full of cockroaches. They were inside my room and I could not sleep at all. I sat by the pool until morning. I will never stay here again

We will be back.

My and my son stayed there for the second time and we really enjoy the view, the pool, the location close to Thong Sala and the garden. Hotel staff is very friendly as well.

The restaurant is no longer part of the resort and the restaurant staff is quite unfriendly and tje restaurant sometimes opens at 12pm and sometimes at 2pm and you never know. They don't serve breakfast which is a disatvantage as well if you travel with children.

Got scammed, place is dirty and people are unfriendly

Dirty, unfriendly, they took money from us for a taxi that never came and even worse, it was for our ferry in the morning. We had to run through the dark to arrive in time, got barked at by dogs and they ran after us. Worst experience and they scammed us for our money. Even called the guy and he had the audacity to say he can only come in 3 hours. The same guy confirmed a few times to me the day before, that he will come in time. I even have a receipt stating at what time he should have come. Recommend to stay away at all cost from this dirty, unfriendly and scammy place.

the pool is nice, with nice view. Little zoo with some animals.

This is the worse hotel i have ever stayed in my life. We booked 8 nights in Koh Phagnan, and after 3 we changed our plans we went to another hotel even knowing we could lost money. The place is dark during the night, there's not much lights out in the public areas or inside the room. I felt such a bad energy which's weird thinking Thailand is my favourite place. The room doesn't get clean never, we had to ask 3 times to be done. The bathroom is horrible! Smells bad!! The staff is rude and treat you like you are into their hotel and using their stuff without pay for it. The hotel is nothing safe, people could easy walk everywhere into the area, no front desk during the night. Also if you feel like walking at night time the street of the hotel is dark and you don't see nobody around. If you are young and feel like having fun in Koh Phagnan, avoid Thong Sala, Baan Rai... stay in Haad Rin that's is way valuable.. The hotels are expensive and so so bad...

Great Location on the beach with a pool and kayak's to hire. Beautiful beach and location I found quiet with a lovely beach to swim and walk. Bonus is that you can watch the Sunset, stunning photo opportunities and friendly staff.

Pool was a cool infinity pool. Could hire kayaks from property. Location was good once you hired bikes.

Our room initially was extremely basic and grim. We payed extra money to upgrade to a more standard room with air conditioning

Great and (rather) cheap stay in Koh Pha-ngan

The "Beck's Resort" is a perfect place for your stay on Koh Pha-ngan. Near the islands center it offers a great pool which has plenty of room for you to swim in, a private beach access and overall a nice experience for your holiday. We would defintely book again, as it's rather cheap (compared to other resorts) and close to the small but good night market. Thank you very much, we hope to see you again soon!

The rooms sadly have no AC. The fans that they offer don't do much, thus creating a hot humid environment in the room. Otherwise it was great!

Great location, but rooms very disappointing. Recommend adjacent resorts instead.

Directly in front of the beach, nice pool. The beach is very shallow and sandy. For deeper water you have to walk in pretty far. You can rent canoes for 100 THB per hour. It is a decent resort if you don't expect too much and get a good price. Don't pay more than 700 THB per night for AC room, you can get a much nicer room for the price in this area.

We booked the gardenview room with AC. The room did not have a refridgerator, in addition bathroom and toilet was dirty and not nice looking. Between window and wall there's a large gap (2-5mm) so bugs can come in any time. We tried to refund and even offered a cancel fee but management was not cooperative at all. Our stay was during full moon party and they knew everyone was pretty booked out and they took advantage of it. After asking for a different room we were offered a pool view room, of course only for surcharge. This room at least did not have window gaps and looked cleaner, but still it was not very appealing. There was no furniture to put stuff down, especially in bathroom. We stayed there for 4 nights, but if we could have canceled we would have done so. After 3 days we asked for fresh towels. They told us yes later but we never received it. All bungalows at this resort look pretty rundown and not like in the pictures. There should be some renovating work done but management does not seem to care much about it. There is way too less furniture to put stuff down. While the beach is directly in front of the resort, unfortunately it looks dirty compared to the adjacent resorts, who have staff cleaning their beach every day. I definitely recommend to go to one of the adjacent resorts instead!

Very good

The place is absolutely beautiful! The pool and the beach views are incredible. The personnel are also very nice, they are flexible with booking and checking out :) I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay in the island!

I didn’t like that they have caged animals and that the room I stayed in doesn’t have AC so it got quite hot and humid…
