This is the forth time of staying here, second in the cottage. Very comfortable, great location.
Staff were welcoming, very helpful, gave us an option of rooms.
Secure location.
Although we didn't eat this time the menu look good.
Not enough tea, coffee or biscuits in the room.
Not enough towels

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal. Parking is a good but discovering you had to pay for it after making the booking was not! Luckily they didn't charge me at reception.
A very dated and tired decor thorugh out. We have stayed in one of the cottages as well as an executive suite and this applies to both. If it were not for the location I doubt we'd consider Moore Place a third time.

It was very convenient to where we were going to a party, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Large bathroom with a bath and separate shower.
It was really, really hot - the underfloor heating in the bathroom was uncomfortably hot, and we ended up opening the windows. We didn't get to try breakfast as there was a wedding - no fault of the hotel. Also, there are no small lights in the bedroom - just the main ceiling one.

Ideally situated for what we needed, restaurant and food was very nice. Staff friendly. Family friendly place.
Room had a really odd smell. Bath was dirty and had black ring round it, had to clean the bath before we used it and Patio area was very unsafe due to broken slabs.

**Rating: 6/10**
Breakfast was stunning and definitely a highlight of our stay. However, we paid £460 for two nights, which I find way overpriced for the experience we had.
One positive was the free shuttle service into Milton Keynes, which saved us about £40 in taxi fares. This was amazing and much appreciated.
The cottage itself was lovely, but for the price, I expected something exceptional. Instead, the room was quite basic, featuring just a bed, sink, sofa, and shower. On a positive note, there was an iron and ironing board, which was a pleasant surprise.
Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a very noisy guest above us. It sounded like an elephant stomping around. The individual turned out to be a very rude and obnoxious French man who disturbed the peace in the early morning hours by talking loudly on his phone in the downstairs courtyard, waking up nearby rooms. He also walked back and forth in his room for no apparent reason in the early hours, adding to the disturbance.
This brings me to my "Karen moment" – if it weren't for this disruptive guest and the steep price, I would have rated this stay much higher. For the price we paid, I would expect no more than £150 per night even on event days. If the issues with the guest and pricing were addressed, I would easily rate this place 9/10.
Cost and noise from upstairs room

Peace and tranquillity.
No Room service or food available after 9pm, wasn’t much options available for vegetarians. I like a hot breakfast in the morning, kippers or salmon, speciality offering would also be nice like an omelette or crepes.

Lovely location , good breakfast and great staff
It’s tired looking and my room was way too hot and not properly cleaned ( dirty bathroom ). No air con and no fan… I don’t think the late night fireworks and noise from the party going on nearby helped.

Did not have breakfast.
Excellent location
Could have had a small fridge in the room

Upgraded when arrived to a lovely room, manager knew we were at the wedding being held threre so wouldn't be bothered by the DJ music

Location was beautiful and the staff are so friendly and attentive.
Wasn't in the main hotel and when the cars came up the drive we had their lights shine into our room.

Situated in the village.
Damp smell in the entrance hall to the cottage, cobweb in the corner of the room, in need of an update, everything looking very tired.

The building is lovely and the staff were friendly. My highlight was the bath
Breakfast was good, had a good choice and I was really pleased the cooked breakfast was cooked to order
The bed was so uncomfortable that I actually laid on the floor, I left with immense back pain.
The fact there are no bottles of water in your room

a nice old property
Our room wasn’t very clean. The shower was very dirty with black mould/mildew and I wasn’t prepared to use it. one of the toiletries left for us was empty. The biscuits in the tea tray were out of date. The bed was comfortable. We felt the breakfast was over priced for the quality received.

Lovely breakfast & good sized room. Staff were friendly & hotel was nice and clean.
Bed could have been firmer (though I realise that is personal choice).

very nice hotel for the price, great location for us attending a wedding at Woburn safari park. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms - very spacious.
no complaints

The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. It was reasonably priced. Guests were given an Easter egg full of buttons on Easter Sunday which \i thought was generous of them.
It was attractively landscaped outside

We were given an upgrade to a suite which was lovely
The Chef was excellent, everything on the menu was cooked from scratch.I had the pork steak stroganoff and when I asked the waitress for some more sauce he produced it fresh.
The shower was cold to lukewarm so not a very good start to the day! The balcony was dirty and full of leaves. There was also a glass out three full of cigarette butt's so not pleasant. Shortages on the breakfast included plates, glasses, orange juice and the hot display was not looked after.

Room was of a good size, neat and clean.
We were wanting to sit near the window for breakfast but were not allowed by hostess at the time. We were told the tables were set for 4. Then later a couple came in and they were given a table near the window. Am a bit puzzled as to why this was, that's all.
