We loved the property. Cute and cosy with the most wonderful cottage garden and views :) The host left us milk, a cake and some fruit from the garden which was appreciated.

This lovely cottage suited us so well I have already rebooked for next year. I visited with my three adult children and a dog for a wonderful Mothers Day weekend. The cottage is semidetached but other than when parking at the front on arrival, we were not aware of anyone else being anywhere nearby.
Prior’s Mead was very spacious, you can never be sure if photos have been ‘stretched’ but the sofas were big and great to lounge on and the rooms generously sized. The kitchen was lovely and big too with a great table for gathering around and plenty of all the usual equipment you could need for creating meals.
Dogs aren’t allowed upstairs (and the stair gate helped here )which was great as the fresh smell and cleanliness of the upstairs was reassuring. Nice soft bedding.
There is a garden with adjoining paddock which itself leads through a gate to a footpath through fields, so perfect for walking with or without a dog. The views from the windows were gorgeous across beautiful countryside to the far distance.
There’s a washing machine and dishwasher and good TV options with Netflix too- everything you’d need for a longer stay.
Very responsive host, Suzanna, who solved one small issue for us immediately.
Highly recommended for a peaceful, relaxing family gathering.
The access is slightly tricky if you are not very spatially aware as you have to reverse out onto the road- good to have someone to guide you out. I’d have liked slightly better crockery and mugs.

Such a pretty characterful cottage, and the bedrooms and general space inside exceeded expectations. Beautiful views from the windows, and everything was as promised i.e plenty of wood for the log fire, good fresh bedding and towels, and helpful things such as doggie bags, dog treats, bin liners etc provided. We loved the thoughtful touches of fresh flowers in the kitchen and milk in the fridge. There was even a cake provided for our tea. We enjoyed a great walk from the pretty garden and out across the adjoining paddocks to reach Clattercote Reservoir. The Reservoir has lovely views with a level boarded walkway lined by weeping willows all the way around it, so provided a really enjoyable excursion.
Both the gate and the posts of the wooden gate used for access in and out of the rear garden, were completely broken. This was not an issue for us, but other visitors with children or pets would find that the garden would not be secure as it is. The approach to the rear of the cottage could be slightly off-putting as a first impression to some, as one of the two adjoining cottages has a rather scruffy badly kept frontage. This is just an observation, as we assume that this is not something under the control of the owners, and has no reflection on the standard of the cottage itself.

A comfortable and cosy (with open fire) home. Peaceful setting with views across open fields. The house was lovely and warm (visited early Feb) and cake and flowers awaited us.
I was just meeting a friend and a lot of talking in front of open fire for which there was an abundant supply of firewood.
If you were being really fussy…..bit of an upgrade needed in bathroom and some bits of new furniture in the bedrooms?

we had two vehicles at some points and had to park down the road which wasn’t really a problem ..

A true home away from home. Excellent amenities in the cottage and lovely to have a Christmas tree up to help us get into the Christmas spirit. Great communication with hosts which made check in super easy.

Large enough for a family and dogs. Well equipped and comfortable. Very dog friendly. Lovely views and access to good dog walks.
The vehicle access was difficult with the large car and parking was limited.

Idyllic country cottage with beautiful south facing garden and adjacent orchard. Well appointed, comfortable, clean, wireless broadband to keep everyone happy, and great walks, pubs, restaurants, national trust houses and interesting market towns and villages in close proximity.
Particular highlights were Mulberry Cafe in Cropredy and walk along the Oxford canal to get there and back; the Sheep Hotel in Stow-on-the-Wold; The Shakespaw Cat Cafe and Butterfly Centre in Stratford; Zushi in Banbury; and the Brasenose Arms in Cropredy.
All the above had good range of vegan menu options and highly recommended.
We had great weather and it felt so good to have our first week away since August 2019.
Would book again without hesitation.
I don't think I could genuinely and honestly say anything displeased us. For what we paid I would say Priors Mead was excellent value for money and we have paid a lot more and stayed in places that come nowhere near it.

Very welcoming cottage. Extremely well equipped.
The shower wasn’t up to much. Very little flow, but I’m sure that could be fixed.
