About this apartment rental

Pelican's Perch is an upscale, luxury townhouse condo less than 16 yards from the water of the Gulf of Mexico. The condo has 1,400 square feet of interior living area plus two large, 'L' shaped decks that wrap around the condo. Each deck has captivating views of the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the heated pool on the other. When the breezes are gentle, you can watch marine life in the water from the decks.

Local zoning rules allow 6 people to reside in the condo. This limit is strictly enforced. Free high speed Wi-Fi Internet access is provided. The master bedroom features a new Consumer Reports recommended king-size bed with an open water view. The second bedroom has queen and twin beds. A queen-size bed pulls out from a sofa on the first floor. A large, eight boat dock and heated pool are a one minute walk away.

The dock is located at the mouth of the Key Vaca Cut, providing good fishing & easy access to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Dockage is first come first served with owners having priority. Backup dockage is available off site if needed.

The grounds are impeccably landscaped.
The kitchen has been updated with new tile and stainless appliances..

Renters have use of 2 rental type bikes, full beach gear such as beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, pool noodles, and some snorkeling gear. Board games are included inside the condo.

We had a wonderful stay at Pelicans Perch! The condo is clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. The views from the downstairs living room and upstairs master bedroom were to die for. The swimming pool was large and sparkling clean. It was down season so we were the only ones in it most of the time. The complex was very quiet and relaxing. There are plenty of restaurants and places to shop nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing week at Pelican’s Perch. The condo was better than we expected and had everything we needed. The extras, like coolers, a fishing rod, and beach toys were so helpful. The views from the condo were gorgeous and we practically had the pool to ourselves every time we got in. Our family just loved the property and I would go back in a heartbeat. Communication with the owner and property manager was also excellent.

This condo is AMAZING! Very spacious with new updated furniture and the beds slept great! The views were wonderful and the sunrises were awesome everyday! Only 1 small gitch with the internet and it was resolved within the hour by Mickey and owners! The condo had everything we needed and then some - bicycle's, beach chairs, floats, coolers and 2 grills. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and plan to be back again!

This was a great property! Very comfortable and clean. Great location. My husband called it “ a hidden gem”. Loved relaxing on the balconies at night after a day of sight seeing. The pool was so lovely. We will be back!

Comfortable clean place, great location lots of supplies, kitchen essentials (we like to cook a lot). Spacious living area with nice furniture. Wish this could be on one level with less stairs-and no birds at the poolthat would make it perfect! But we want to come back!

This condo allows you to walk in and have everything you need . My husband and I enjoyed fishing on the dock, riding bikes , checking out the local restaurants, local beaches , etc . Perfect location with amazing views . I would definitely like to go back!

My friend and I stayed at this amazing condo!! The views were fantastic from the balconies! Super quiet and the space was very large and comfortable. A little dated with the bathrooms and kitchen but everything was functional and clean and did not feel run down at all!! The furnishings were updated and beautiful! The pool was amazing. This place has everything you need for a perfect time in the Keys. Will definitely be looking to stay here again!!

This property is absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for peace and quiet, with gorgeous views of the ocean, this is your place! The bed was amazing,so comfortable! Check in was easy and the condo was in excellent condition! I have stayed at several locations and this was my favorite. I did have to replenish most paper products and laundry items but I left what we didn’t use for the next occupants. Fantastic location and if I get back to Marathon I will stay here again!

Great View, Great Location

We arrived and felt instantly comfortable and relaxed. The view was amazing and is how I began my day drinking coffee on the front porch over looking the bay. Also after a hard day at play it was a great way to wind down. The pool was convenient and the kids loved it. We rented a boat and docked it at the dock. So close to Vaca Cut that we had instant access to the ocean and bay side.

Fully furnished condo right on water. Winds blew pretty forceful most of week. Pool was clean and refreshing. There are straits leading to entrance and stairs leading up to bedrooms. Very quiet complex. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there.

Loved the pool, it’s temperature and the proximity to the condo. Spent much time enjoying the view from the balconies and the rockers. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Key lock box was difficult to open but contacted Bernie & she quickly responded. Appreciated the items/staples left for our use and we replenished. Furnishings need updating and that is the reason for the 4 stars.

This was our third stay at Pelican's Perch. The sunrises from the balcony never get old. Watching the dolphins and the pelicans was also fun. The property is well equipped with everything you need, including coolers. The pool is a very nice place to soak up some sunshine.

Our family came to enjoy the Christmas holiday together. The condo is nice, had everything we needed. We had the pool area to ourselves most of the time. The sunrises are beautiful from the balcony. We enjoyed many of the local restaurants! We snorkeled the Sombrero Reef, Smathers Beach in Key west, and Bahia Honda State Park. Met a lot of locals and can’t wait to return!

We had a fabulous time at Pelicans Perch! The condo was perched on the Gulf side, not visible by the highway, and very quiet and tranquil. The view was amazing with the large glass doors looking out over the water. We had everything we needed to spend the week and would love to return.

We enjoyed our stay in the condo, it was much as described and we enjoyed the grounds. There are 20 units in this complex and it was very well maintained. The condo unit is very spacious and has great views from both floors. The nearly private pool on the grounds was well maintained and clean. We had a great time bar and restaurant hopping in Marathon and Key West. Looking forward to returning to the area and will definitely want to and enjoy staying here again.

This is our second time staying at Pelican's Perch and we are looking forward to a third. The home has amazing views and the pool is quiet and relaxing. We enjoy being in the center of the keys to give options to travel East or West for a day of activities. The home has a very comfortable king sized bed that gave me a sound nights sleep. I am 6' 3" and not all beds work for me. Everything about Pelican's Perch was clean, comfortable and relaxing. I love this home!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was clean and as described. We had all the amenities that we needed. The location was great, close to everything. We could see the sunrise from the balconies and watch the sunset from the dock. We also fished from the dock and caught some fish. The few times that we needed to communicate with Rex and Bernie they were quick to reply. We appreciated the recommendations they gave us in the welcome packet. We had a great week in the Keys!
