Voor het ontbijt alleen al zou ik hier weer terugkomen

Fijne locatie met een fantastisch ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel op 1 conciërge/ portier na. Her en der mag wel wat gerenoveerd worden zoals tapijt. Jammer alleen dat de rekening bij het uit hé ken niet klopte. Eerst zeggen dat alles aangeboden wordt en later er achter komen dat het deels is aangeboden.n

Afspraken niet helemaal nagekomen en jammer dat je niet bij de brouwerij kan kijken.

I would use this hotel again.

Good bathroom and shower. Quiet with very little traffic noise, but central. Air conditioning.

Very helpful staff and great location

The staff who checked me in could have been a little warmer and friendlier, but once they located the messages I'd sent ahead of my stay and understood my request, they were very helpful and managed to find an available room to let me check in VERY early. I was breastfeeding and hoping to either get in early or use a temporary room to express while dropping off my bags at 8am, which they managed to accommodate, and upgraded my room in the process. Nice big room, great toiletries, and it's always good to have a bath as well as a shower.

The room perhaps needs a little refresh in places to make it truly 5 star.

Charming and central

The location is excellent and very close to main tube stations and attractions nearby (Barbican, St. Paul's, Tower of London, Tower Bridge). The hotel room was very smart and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful.

A bizarre episode which had never happened to me before. I locked my valuables in the safe but when I tried to reopen it, the digital keypad was unresponsive. The staff at reception were helpful but took a while to eventually use the safe master physical key to open the safe. The cause of this was the fact that the digital keypad had run out of battery! Just unfortunate but still meant that I was kept waiting an hour before I could go to sleep as I needed to gain access to my valuables including my laptop and could not wait until the next morning.

Great location. Quiet area during the night despite being in central London

Great location, I used the close subway station to get around the city. It's very easy to connect with other mode of transports like the euro star to get to Europe via train or any other London airport. The area is very quiet at night and during the early hours of the morning. Lovely staff at the reception.

Simply perfect

Nothing at all!

The staff at the reception was cool and not very welcome. we ordered a room for 2 people, but the room was so small, the bed is only a 1.2-meter bed, and it is NOT for 2 people! and it is NOTHING like the pictures show on booking.com. I felt cheated, hardly have 2 people to sleep in that small bed. we ordered for 2 nights, although we raised the issue to the hotel on the first day, but they just said, to send an email to discuss the issue! how can that help with our situation? room and facilities are old and not comfortable at all. terrible experiences!

The staff were very nice.

The rooms electrical plug sockets kept blowing. We didn't have any power for charging phones or hair dryer. I reported it the first day and they were very quick to cone and reset it but it tripped again whilst we were out. I had to go to reception to report it as the phone didn't work.

Passable

The windows opened in the room so lots of fresh air. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. We slept so well!

We didn't have any shampoo in the supplied toiletries and house cleaning didn't replace any used tea cups and glasses in the room although they cleaned the rest of the room. Some of the room lights didn't work and the Aircon was temperamental.

Perfect quiet spot convenient location

Great location. Super comfy bed blackout curtains and very quiet - great for sleeping

Expected more than I get. Please don't be fooled because of the fancy reception :)

Location was really good. Reception and the staff was friendly. Room size was OK

1st of all - free wifi. This is not a proper way to give for a customers unsecured wifi, where everyone can connect without any pass. Asked for a secured wifi - extra charged :) 2nd. Bathrobe was full of long black hairs. Drooped on the ground for a cleaning lad to change - unfortunately it was taken, but new wasn't delivered. Even for a second day. 3rd. Booked a room for 2 adults + child. Got 140cm bed for all 3 of us :)) 4th. Mini bar - there was no mini bar :)

unfortunate that there was no hot water but eventually got the issue sorted.

Stayed in the Barbican rooms. No hot water available for the first 30 hours of the stay. Eventually got relocated to another room but this took great effort on my behalf.

Cold showers, The kettle also did not work as the switch was broken.
