Decoration was ok in the room.
Mould all over the bathroom seals and the curtains were covered in black mould.

The look at arrival
The lady manger was lovely
Cold room and cold bathroom not heating in the attic
No lift and narrow step
The evening bar tender was not helpful at all

Beautiful spot, very friendly and helpful staff, fabulous locally sourced food and even though the free breakfast is continental there is plenty of choice and local marmalades and jams. Can’t rate this place highly enough.

Ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed. Het hotel was romatisch sjiek ingericht.
Alleen het doucheputje wat niet zo goed doorliep.

Very helpful and cheerful staff. Very clean an excellent shower and big bath towels.
Horrible pillows and the mattress needs to be thrown in the nearest skip…
When booking no mention was made that only Continental Breakfast was included
It wasn’t until after I booked that I got the message from the hotel saying that a cooked breakfast was extra and that if I cancelled my room I’d have to pay the full price.
I’d not have booked if I knew at the time of booking about the breakfast.

A very loving characteristic hotel decorated like a small castle. It felt very pleasant and welcome to us. The beds were wonderful and the continental breakfast was fine. A big yes for us to stay again in the futher.
The hotel is a bit difficult to access if you have difficulty walking due to the stairs and narrow corridors.

Bedrooms were spacious and very clean property had lots of character
Noisy in the morning from the room above and only one tea cup was supplied in room.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Roundabout Hotel, the room was comfortable. The bar prices were good and the continental breakfast was exceptional. We booked a cooked breakfast for our first morning because continental can be a bit poor but there was no need the breakfast here was great quality.
Nothing really we will book again when Goodwood is on next year

Quiet location
Car park
The bed was really squeaky, the mattress was uncomfortable and the duvet was covered in nasty stains. Really disappointed with this hotel for the price I paid. Won’t stay at this hotel again.

Access to event
Booking process was disorganised
1. Despite phone calls and emails Hotel was unaware of family requests
Situation was remedied but disappointing after very long journey
2. We were unable to charge drinks and meals to room
Had to pay at table

Continental breakfasts were very good although by the third morning supplies were getting a little low.
The hotel is in the style of a building several hundred years old. Be prepared for quite small rooms with limited storage.
Over all an enjoyable stay.

Evening meal
Heating not working in original room so moved to another room but decor tired. Sink didn't drain properly. Loose toilet seat

coming in from work to enjoy a pint, then having my T.
No amenities close by, but makes a massive change from all the riff raff of stopping in a centre or town.

Very pleasant hotel. Quiet location. Clean and comfortable room.
Varied menu for Dinner but we felt it was over priced.
Large choice of continental breakfast but disappointing in quality.
Booking.com needs to specify that only continental breakfast is included in the price.
Full English costs extra and is expensive.
