Very clean and welcoming
Parking!

An excellent village pub and restaurant, Great food and very comfortable accommodation. A warm welcome from the hosts who have created a hub for the area that is very popular.
4.3
poor parking, literally cars just dumped anywhere outside, uneven floors, low ceilings, door frames, poorly lit stair cases.
no cooked breakfast on Monday morning and we couldn't have breakfast on Sunday morning as it doesn't start til 9 !
dogs barking in adjacent properties, no specials available even though website shows them, food portion sizes very large, almost wastefully so. menu limited, we were pushed out into an empty rear restaurant area for our booked evening meal, even though there was plenty of seating available in the bar area, but that was clearly being kept for the locals / regulars. a feeling that was made very apparent.

lovely rural location and the room was clean and tidy. We had tea and coffee etc Staff were really friendly and the food in the evening was delicious. breakfast was continental and is included in the room price but you could also have a cooked breakfast which was a little extra.
parking was a bit of an issue but nothing that couldn’t be sorted.
4.3
The food was great and the staff were very friendly.
The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable.
The tiled floor in the bathroom was very cold and the room was a little small.
4.3
Lovely old Inn with a very comfortable and clean bedroom/bathroom, also a great pub downstairs where we had dinner.
4.3
It's a very nice pub and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was good as well
The family room was comfortable and the pub closes early enough, so that the noise from downstairs didn't bother us at all.
We traveled with both a toddler and a little dog, the family room was a bit tight for all of us.
The breakfast is very limited and there is no private parking. The street outside is quite dark at night, so wouldn't leave much in the car.

Charming, characterful, old and cosy.

Three of us stayed in Room 4, it was beautiful. My friend had the double room and my daughter and I had the master bedroom made into a twin room. it was all spotlessly clean, the shower was wonderful with plenty of space to move around it.
The staff were great and couldn't have done more to help. They offered to take our bags for us. They filled our numerous water bottles with iced water. Nothing was too much trouble. We all had a really comfortable night's sleep and came down to an amazing self-serve breakfast in morning. There were a range of hot drinks and fruits juices, a huge variety of cereals, muffins, pain au chocolate, bread for toast, jams, spreads, fresh fruit, and no limit, you could eat as much or as little as you wanted.
Nothing, it was perfect for what we wanted.

rustic
the bedroom was small

we left 2 expensive power bank/ phone chargers in the
room, despite trying to call, and leaving 2 emails, these
have not been recovered. very disappointing.

Really liked the room. Very comfy bed and slept well.
Bits of the room were damaged and a little dirty.

Nice characterful Inn. Good location.
Breakfast was disappointing-I stayed 4 nights and the breakfast ( which was self service ) had the same limited choice each day. Fridge containing juices etc could have been cleaner...
4.3
Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to stay there and the room was beautiful.
It would have been nice to have a gluten-free breakfast option. If I'd read the small print, I'd have seen that cooked breakfasts were only available at weekends. It was the only strike against it though.
4.3
Location, staff very helpful and accommodating
Lack of local taxi's (not the hotels fault of course).

Breakfast was as expected with delicious coffee! Good choice of cereals.
Plug in basin wasn't working. Loo seat was loose.

The quirky room, the cleanliness and homely touches. The food was excellent.
My pillow was a bit hard otherwise nothing to report
