Good location, adjacent to a good pub with friendly staff and a fine restaurant.
Chalet rather lacked some essential facilities: drawspace for clothes, decent coat hangers, kitchen utensils. The two ring cooker ws not really adequate.

The accommodation is in a great location. The garden rooms are really well laid out, with everything you need for a nice break.
The downstairs rooms have a very nice garden area, where we could sit out in the lovely sunny weather.
The food served at the Fox Inn was wonderful, with a nice varied menu with lots of tasty choices. The staff were really amazing too, and took care of us each evening.
Barbara, the owner, took the time to check that we had settled in ok, and would have been easy to contact if we had any issues!
Nothing really to dislike. Just wish we had stayed another night or two! :)

The property was clean and very spacious. We particularly liked the self contained garden with patio. It had all that we wanted and more. The location was central to all the places we wanted to visit. Being part of a pub was great as we eat both evenings there. The food was good.
It would be ideal if the Fox could do breakfast but not really a complaint as there was a cafe close by.

location, welcome, quiet
more saucepans and a frying pan
4.5
Comfortable bed and central location. Perfect to be next to a really good pub serving food.
A suitcase stand would have been a bonus but a tiny point amidst lots of good things.

Well appointment. Bed really comfortable. Good en-suite with great shower.
Curtains didn’t really keep the morning light out

The property was amazing a very clean, loved the garden room and so did the dogs, lovely touch with the dog blankets as I was worried about all the white.
We also booked the loft room too and this was great and bigger than expected.
The garden room did get warm at night but there were fans supplied which was great
Nothing it was perfect

Great value, spacious room with garden next-door to the pub. Extremely dog friendly. Helpful owner. Great staff in the pub. Excellent food. Close to Aldeburgh, Snape, Minsmere, Dunwich.
Water pressure was very low. Everything else was fine

My partner and I have stayed at the Fox Inn before; we try to visit and stay at least once a year. Yet again it was a lovely long weekend away. We stayed in room 2 which has it's own private garden, perfect for us as we brought our dog with us. Given the choice when coming and staying up by the coast, we'd always try to book the Fox Inn. Not just for the bonus of a private garden, but the linked pub has INCREDIBLE food, which NEVER disappoints. The food is freshly made, fair priced and the portions are huge, which is great for my and my partner as we're foodies!
Location is great too, we used our car to get breakfast from the local fresh bakeries and we travelled to Dunwich which has a national trust beach and walks for the pooch!
This year we got away for the early may bank holiday and I have not doubt we'll be visiting again before the summer is out.
A big thank you to the Fox Inn!

The upstairs room was larger than we anticipated which was a bonus point. Lovely hat water and nice shower. Peaceful room.

Nice room for a couple of nights. Kitchenette good for making a picnic. Close to bird resevre.
Wi fi didn't work. Although Barbara said she would sort it, we couldn't get wifi in the room. Was available in the pub, so not much of a problem for us.

We have stayed at this property many time we like it because It’s in an excellent position to visit all the local areas around the Suffolk Coast
It’s light and airy and we had our own patio/garden - sadly the weather was a little chilly so unable to enjoy that on this visit

Absolutely nothing not to like!

Great location, next to pub but private and quiet.

It was very clean. Really comfortable mattress and decent hot shower. Lovely views across the fields and great having our own kitchenette area and situated right beside a cosy traditional pub. Owners were really friendly and helpful.
There was nothing we didn’t like. It excelled our expectations. Just be mindful there are steps leading up to the upstairs apartment, which after a few drinks could be rather tricky!

Self contained apartment with everything which we needed. Very comfortable and warm.

This accommodation was stunning. Would highly recommend it for a single person or couple. Beautifully fitted out, clean, quiet and well equipped. Next door to the pub for evening meals - very friendly atmosphere. Perfectly located for us.
Maybe a small amount of fresh milk as the wee long life pots that were left for us had expired. But that definitely wouldn't stop me going back!!

Gorgeous room, everything we needed for our stay. Ideal garden for little dog too. Wonderful, stayed before and will definitely stay again.

4.0
quiet garden room with pleasant outside space, good facilities, comfortable bed, easy access to next door pub
all pretty good, although a few things missing - no barbecue, no clothes rack (as promised in prospectus), a local map would have been useful - we bought one and left it

The garden room was well appointed and had everything needed for self-catering. The furniture was of good quality and the room and bathroom was spotless. Always plenty of hot water. Bed was extremely comfortable The room also had French doors opening onto a patio and small private garden. I liked how a parking issue for a Blue Badge holder was quickly and efficiently resolved by Barbara.
We didn't have anything not to like.
