Absolutely perfect. We had 2 beautiful rooms, and ate a marvelous breakfast with a beautiful view of the garden. The hosts were wonderful and charming, and the village couldn't have been nicer. The local pub was great for dinner. I hated to leave.

The wow factor when you arrive at Blaisdon house is only surpassed by when you walk in through the front door and then you get the wow wow factor, and this was surpassed by entering my room, Room 2, with the 4 poster bed, and then I got the wow wow wow factor. Where do I start....its stunning, Sue and Chris are fantastic hosts, its beautiful, it smells good, nice background music that's uplifting, its bright, its airy, its impeccably furnished, its colourful, its interesting and it feels like a home you'd just love to live in. And that's the magic that Sue and Chris have created, its feels like home. Beyond comfortable and relaxing, its perfection if there ever was perfection.
Having to leave...very sad to have to leave such a haven of peace, quiet and perfection and of course having a beautiful breakfast being cooked for me each morning.

We loved everything about the property. The amount of love and attention to detail is visible everywhere. The house is tastefully decorated throughout. There are so many beautiful pieces of objects and art to look at that I am dying to spend more time there. It was so lovely to have real plants in the room as well as fresh flowers, beautiful touch indeed.
Breakfast was scrumptious. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on a lovely local sourdough bread. The scrambled eggs were beautifully cooked. We also got to sample the local red plum jam which was yummy.
The owners were ever so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back there again.
Parking might get a bit challenging if they are fully booked.

Immaculately stylish, period house. We were very impressed with our comfortable room. Sue and Chris had thought of everything you could possibly need. The freshly cooked organic breakfast was delicious.
A perfect hidden gem in beautiful countryside. We will definitely be back for a longer stay 😁

The room was rather smaller than expected
The room was too small.
The breakfast was good however the bread was sourdough which upset mine and my wife’s stomach with cramps
Car parking was under trees, sap and berries on the car, had to thoroughly clean the car when I got home.

We loved the way that nothing was too much trouble for Chris. We arrived on our motorbikes and he offered us secure parking in his private yard. Everything you could possibly want was provided in the room and the additional lounge area, complete with books, magazines and a well stocked honesty bar made for a relaxing retreat after enjoying a delicious supper at the pub over the road.
Nothing, it was all totally brilliant
