The whole premises was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. We loved our room with the exposed brickwork and the feature window.
We were within 5 minutes of all the good restaurants in the Barbican.
We loved that our (very well behaved Shih Tzu) was also welcomed by the owners 😊
There really isn’t anything we could speak negatively about. Clean towels everyday and tea/coffee/water refreshed everyday.
Parking available, fresh fruit available and welcoming hosts! Nothing that we didn’t like at all!

Clean room and efficient service
Needed a heavier duty duvet. Minor issue

Lovely guesthouse in a great location. I loved the sea themed decorations. The guest lounge and kitchen was also really handy
The blinds on the bedroom window look cool, but they are not great at cutting out the light. At this time of year, it meant the room got quite light very early in the morning

The hotel has been renovated tastefully. The hotel is very clean. The host was reachable and attentive. Parking on the premises a big plus. The location was close to everything. We could walk to all the sites and city center.
Liked everything.

Clean, modern & fresh inside an old building in a great area.
Not so much didn’t like and I managed no issues but off road parking is tight & on a hill.

This was our second visit and the place is absolutely faultless
Comfy beds , beautiful decor, perfect location
We arrived early and were able to leave our car after speaking to the gentleman on reception
Will be booking again soon
As I said the accommodation is faultless

Decore, cleanliness, hospitality tray, quality of fixtures and fixings were all very good.
the public room was a nice touch with a microwave, fridge, dining table and easy chairs.
The room was a bit small

Located below the Hoe and conveniently close to harbour. I walked down the hill to the nearby and very helpful Tourist Info office, then had fine meal at 'Crown and Anchor' pub. Bed was comfortable and the room clean and tidy. All required toiletries were provided. I knew in advance that breakfast was not included.
Room not ready when I arrived (my fault) and told to go away for an hour. An invitation to enter, sit and have a cup of tea would have been nice. Walking up steep, cobbled street with my bag was not easy. Access to my top floor room was via a very steep and narrow staircase which I could not have used with a full size suitcase. The sink in the bathroom was miniscule. Strangely, did not interact face-to-face with host until night before departure when he ordered a taxi for the following morning.

We loved the location and the theme of the hotel. The hosts were lovely and made us feel at home. The free parking was a huge bonus as we struggled to find this elsewhere.
Everything was great other than the WiFi (we stayed in room 1 which could be furthest from router)

Good location close to the Barbican
Parking very awkward, a lot of the noise carried through the building/from outside, very steep paths etc around (wouldn’t be good for older guests)

Very spacious and clean rooms, good shower,
Car parking very cramped, availability of breakfast would have been food.

Fantastic location - just a short walk from the Barbican, the Hoe and the city centre.
Nothing really, suited my purpose really well.

A fabulous location with off-street parking, so convenient as we had a car full of luggage en route to the Santander ferry just a few minutes away. The owner was fantastic and very accommodating, our room was tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed and spotless bathroom. You are only a very short walk to the Barbican and its array of bespoke shops, bars and restaurants. The Hoe is a short walk too making it an ideal location to explore Plymouth. We only had one night's stay, but if we return to the UK via Plymouth it will be our go-to place to stay. Thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

LOCATION, FREE PARKING NEAR HOE, FRIENDLY OWNER..

We were lucky to be able to park in front of the hotel, otherwise it would not have been easy. Hotel was quite well renovated, bright and cheerful.
No hanging space in bedroom (apart from 4 coat hangers) or in bathroom, very small shower cubicle. Stairs were very difficult to go up/down (our room was on the 2nd floor), no banister/stair rail. Kettle was difficult to fill from the wash basin and it became obvious what the 2 bottles of water standing by the kettle were for, but then it was very difficult to find somewhere to plug the kettle in.

Super clean and amazing location. Good little parking spot.

A modern and contemporary setting with a fresh colour scheme. Everything about it screamed upmarket.
The room was stylish yet cosy. The beds were comfortable. We loved that there was a fan in the room to help cool us down. The fan was really powerful and cooled us down quite quickly. The bathroom was fresh and clean looking. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
We loved the security of the lodge, using an electronic tag on the front door as well as the room.
A small walk down will lead you to all of the shops on the quay, so it's in an ideal spot with a view. The car park behind the lodge is easy to access, you won't know it's there.
The owners couldn't be more helpful and were so lovely to speak to. We will definitely go back again.
The internet connection was very poor.

The location was great for our use. The room was clean. The staff were lovely. The owner let us check in an hour early as we had a wedding to attend. Plenty of sockets. Decor was lovely. The bed was comfy but it had had a footboard and my 6ft 4in husband couldn't stretch out. And it was only just a double bed.
The parking was a bit awkward - but possible in an area where there is very little parking!.
The room was cramped. We were only staying the one night so only had a holdall - there was nowhere to put anything bigger. The hanging rail was just a foot long. No socket near the kettle and only one bedside light. We originally said we were bringing a dog. He would have had to be near the kettle on the floor!
I appreciate that the owners have done a lot to refurbish the lodge and I don't know if all the rooms were so small but I was glad it was only one night.
