Quirky decoration in reception and close to the sea and Sea Lanes for swimming
Staff not around - were greeted just at check in. Tried to ring number at reception and rang bell at reception but no one responded. Wanted to see if it was ok to leave my suitcase for a few hours but ended up taking it with me. Cafe at top of road recommended for breakfast not open. The other one where guests were meant to get a 15 percent discount offered me ten percent discount. Single room a bit cramped and décor slightly tired.

Room, Decor, Location
Shower flooded the bathroom floor too easily (rm 15).

Quirky ArtDeco themed boutique hotel. Excellent priced basic room with everything that I required for a work trip.
You get what you pay for, so whilst there may be a few minor things I can’t complain at the price.

We found the Staff at Paskins exceptionally friendly and helpful , room was tastefully decorated and bed was really comfortable.
The Only Negative thing is really the Parking , this is completely not the fault of the Hotel but it did cause a bit of a problem as we had to park in a different street , some vehicles were parked outside the property with large gaps between them enough to accommodate at least 3 more cars.

staff supper friendly and helpful always available if needed nothing seemed to much trouble to sort out they moved my room from top floor to ground floor given my mobility issues.
given the type of building - access from the street could be problematic for those with buggies wheelchairs etc as there are a number of steps leading up to the building - though staff happy to help carry things in from the street

We liked the room's decor.
Soap, shampo, conditioner, towels, boiler, water, the, coffee and some simple biscuits, all in the room. Plenty of plugs on the walls.
Good position, Kempton main street is full of shops. Is easy to to go to the beach and to the city center.
The room n.1 has a big window at street level, you can ear people talking outside, despite eavy curtains. No much an issue because it is not a main road and we slept thery well. Fan in bathroom is a little bit noisy. Maybe the bed is a little bit too soft, but really comfortable.

We said we would be checking in at 3.00 what the website says, but nobody there phoned a couple of times eventually got in our room by 5.00

The hotel was great
No pillow case on the first night just a disposable one

Superb location. The staff were very kind and attentive.

The room was at the top of the house and was quiet. It was clean and comfortable with enough room for us. The shower room was tiny, but adequate. Free tea and biscuits were a welcome extra.
A bathmat for the shower.

Newer mattress on one of the single beds

quiet street and very quirky!
nothing much - just a little dated and the bathroom in the single rooms are VERY small. otherwise everything is great

location incredible. reasonable value for money.
did not like the fact that there were no staff.
room was very cold as radiator switched off to 0 when we arrived snd very thin duvet.
window pane rattled badly all night - needs attention.
the little glass shelf in the bathroom was hanging at a dangerous angle and unusable - needs repair and could be dangerous if it falls.
the room and bathroom were very tight - should have been a single not a double as nowhere to put case tbh .
dark stairwell and lack of lighting makes it hard to see to open room door on first landing.

Easy check in (Door code, given, key & directions to room at reception, so no in-person interactions, which was good for me!)

They had to clean the windows from outside at 7 in the morning, and they woke me up

As it was booked a night before and it was a weekend, the price was a good value for single room with private bathroom
The size of room was quite small

I could not fault the reception and support, from accommodating my luggage until my room was free, to advising me of parking. Paskins is ideally situated on the seafront and gives easy access to all amenities. I only wanted a room for one night and Paskin's was one of the few places I could get, that was not a hostel, that could help.
I would definitely use Paskins again and would recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to stay that is excellent value clean and exceptionally friendly.
I cannot fault my stay, so have no negative comments to share.

The hotel rooms are well equipped and clean. The owners are very welcoming and assistive.
It would be great to add hairdryers to single rooms.
4.0
location and nice extra touches in the room
the climb up to our room wouldn’t be for everyone

Handy location close to the city centre and beach.
The rooms were small and facilities dated.
Given the cost I was expecting better.
