Comfortable bed and a great location. Even though the room was set just above the pub I did not hear anything during the night which is a big plus for someone who sleeps very lightly.
A sooner check-out would be nice; or a possibility to leave the key somewhere and not to wait until someone arrives.

Enjoyed my entire stay for two nights, at the Grange pub. Bed and room temperature all very comfortable. Staff very friendly.
Nothing

Very nice and comforting pub underneath with a relaxing atmosphere, good food for a great price. Very short path from dinner to bed :) The small park nearby (across the street) also gives a chance to spend a few moments away from traffic and London City Center.

Clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. I had a nice single room on the top floor at the back. it was spacious with a good open wardrobe, desk and full mirror. A big window and a fan of you needed it. The shared bathroom was very clean, the shower was spotless with strong pressure and lots of hot water. The fellow who checked me in was kind enough to carry my bag up the two flights of stairs and the fellow doing check out also helped.
Wish there was breakfast downstairs the days I stayed, and would have been nice if a hair dryer was available on request (though I didn’t ask to be fair)

Staffs are good. We are very satisified the location and price.

The room was spacier than I thought and the bus stop was directly opposite the pub. The employees were nice and the room clean. I brought some earplugs, as people had mentioned that the road was noisy, so this wasn’t an issue. There is also a some tea and instant coffee and a mini fridge which can be used.
Waiting for the other guests to finish up in the shared bathroom felt a bit weird and at times long. While the room was clean and nicely furnished, the furniture was a bit scruffy. Still, it is worth the stay and I would stay again

Our stay here was fantastic. Like staying in a friend's house. Room was very spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Will be our go-to place to stay next time in London.

Came from Ireland for a trip to London. This place was close to an event we were attending, also wanted to see the city too and it was very close to the centre.
The staff were so friendly. Thanks to everyone. Really really nice and friendly people.
The owner himself is a lovely man. Really helpful and kind.
There was a girl working at the bar- who was so talkative and lovely she made our stay delightful!
Felt at home, felt comfortable.
Food served also delicious loved the fish and chips and my friend Nicole had the burger and chips which she loved.
Really close to a station to go to London Bridge area.
The room we stayed in was so so comfortable. So tidy and cozy. Had a lovely two nights rest.
Very good overall.
Thanks so much. Will be coming back again.
I loved everything about the place. What’s not to do like!

One member of staff was very helpful with taxis
If you like cheap and cheerful and just want a bed this is the place for you
Host left us out in the rain even tho it was 2.58pm found host to be rude and unhelpful.
Room stuffy and couldn’t open window safety hazard.
Pictures on advertisement nothing like what you get when there like a hostel.

The location is perfect, not too crowded, but relatively close to the city and possible sights to visit. Check-in was easy, and the staff was extremely friendly, flexible, and helpful. We received the key and the entry code so we could come and go even if the pub was closed for the day. The room was spot-on clean, and the shared bathroom was in perfect condition. TV, desk lamps, plenty of power outlets, and sufficient storage were available. Despite the classical design, the room looked okay, and kind of cozy (it is a personal preference), and the beds were comfortable. Little to no road noise was present, and the downstairs pub was not an issue at all, knowing that we stayed there during the weekend. The bathroom is shared, but there are two of them, so we never had to wait longer than a few minutes to enter. The shower was great plenty of hot water. As per our observation, the bathroom was cleaned several times during the day; no shortage of toilet paper or anything; however, do not forget to bring your toiletries.
It was the middle of January, so the room was a bit cold, but they immediately turned up the heating after we asked for it, so the temperature in the room was perfect throughout our stay. Nothing to complain about.

The location is great - it’s quiet but central enough, could easily walk to borough high street!
The pub downstairs is excellent - friendly staff and really good atmosphere. Also relatively quiet.
Would stay again!
I guess the room was smaller than I expected, yet again, the price was lower than most hotels around and the good atmosphere compensates for it.

great location and convenient for me but if you are looking to stay for sightseeing it is quite far away.
Only thing was I was told there would be ironing facilities which I needed one morning but no staff are around until 10:30/11 when the pub opens

The staff was very nice.
We were there for two nights and in the second night the heating did not work in the room.

Location, size of the room, lots of books, check in, check out, friendly staff. When there's no noise from the pub or neighbours, the room is quiet and cosy.
Bathroom although not private was always clean and easily available, there was also a variety of shower gels and shampoos available if you travel light
The door didn't have a chain lock or a barrel bolt on the inside and seemed like it could be easily opened from outside. If you are travelling solo (or are generally anxious) make sure to buy a travel lock for your own peace of mind.
Noise was expected, but on some nights it was a lot. When someone above was walking or having a chat at 1am, you could hear it all too well.
Bedsheets looked very worn, thin and with small tears in the corners

great location, lovely pub dog who welcomed me at midnight on the stairwell and came for some belly strokes in the morning. too cute.

The shared bathroom was shared among only a few rooms so it was easy to find it accessible. The room was not large but charming and comfortable. The temperature was perfect, the bathroom was very clean and warm water was always present. There was a small breakfast point as well for coffee and tea...very much appreciated. The position is perfect for tourists as it is located 30 seconds away from the bus stop with two bus lines perfect to reach the city center or the tube. Most of all we fall in love with the Irish terrier of the pub, Meryl, she was the kindest creature visiting us in the morning she made our days.
I would have liked to have a hairdryer and more towels: just one per person is maybe too minimal.

Warm bed, nice TV, plenty of space for one person
A little outdated

Staff very welcoming, rooms are clean and bed was comfortable.
Just one bathroom between 3 or 4 rooms so not always free when you needed it. Only one hairdryer for loan out so take your own. Tea and coffee is on the shared landing area.

Room clean with TV.

The party organised until 1am with a DJ.
