The location, the food the cosy pub vibe and above all the staff. The guy on in the morning was beyond lovely. So helpful. kind and efficient thankyou
Loved nearly all of it. if we had to comment the shower wasnt really up to scratch and the room was a little noisy as it was over the pub but the location and the food/ pub made up for it. Great pub find

Outstanding, historic Cotswolds pub with great service, comfort and charm.
Nothing.

It was a lovely location in its own little village so for walkers it was ideal.
There was no dislike really, but if you like to get to bed early please take in to account it is a pub so there is a bit of noise till closing time.

Warm friendly greeting, Great location. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast choices very filling and good choice. Dinner meals were excellent choice. Room very in keeping with cottage style and very cosy.

Delightful setting, delightful staff and very clean.
Best shower in a hotel we have ever experienced!
Very noisy room above - creaking floor! Guest had to leave in the middle of the night and we were woken up and couldn't go back to sleep.

it is cute and well located. the breakfast is pleasant. The staff is lovely.
humidity smell in the bathroom was unbearable. they should clean the air extractors. Rooms are really small and the bathrooms even more. we stayed 2 nights, and although the water was replaced and the bins emptied, the beds were left undone in all 3 rooms. the digital checkout is smooth but anything paid outside of it is a pain. took nearly half an hour to pay the restaurant bill put on the rooms when we left.

The property is beautiful, as is the village. very creaky floors but that didn’t detract from the pleasure.
The dartboard from the pictures has gone 😔.

It's a stunning property in a truly beautiful little hamlet. If you're looking for the "picture perfect" traditional British inn, this place is it! Beam, horse brasses, flag floors, open fires, pub grub and lots of real ale!
If you're a light sleeper, grab some earplugs because anyone moving around in the corridor or floor above will cause the floorboards to squeak - but it's a partly thatched pub from the 17th century... you should be expecting a few squeaks and rattles - it's part of the charm. The shower was a little tight for taller chaps like me, but again, the place is so beautiful you will excuse a smaller shower.

Great location for walking Central for different towns of the cotswolds
The breakfast was bland, its the second time here and the food was amazing last February, the landlord was quite miserable and barely had a smile or conversation, small menu and uncomfortable bed and small shower for a superior room

Incredible food and lovely pub atmosphere.
The shower could be a little better as quite tricky to get the right temperature.
