Convenient, very obliging team, great food.
Nothing.

Great breakfast, Staff were very attentive. Nice choice of food on the evening menu.
No issues just great.
4.0
The room was cosy, clean and very well stocked with plenty of towels/toilet paper and tea/coffee/biscuits. The bed was very comfortable and the room was pleasantly warm.
Breakfast was a little disappointing as there was little choice if you didn't want a cooked meal. Didn't stay for dinner so cannot comment. Overall, a good location, quiet and comfortable.
More breakfast choice.
4.5
Good location for Blenheim. Excellent bedroom and bed in a Motel style annex. Food well cooked and tasty. Apart from the bedroom the bar area is mainly reserved for dining.
It would be useful to have some EV chargers in the car park.
4.5
Excellent breakfast. Lovely welcome and suitcase carried to room.

Breakfast was excellent. Bed comfortable and room clean. Bathroom was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very little to complain about at all. Great overall and would definitely stay again.
Only minor things. The extractor fan in the bathroom made a lot of noise but informed the staff so they can fix it. Room was very warm until I found the power switch for the heater but all good overall.

Breakfast good, out of town location.
3.5
lovely old building extended like a motel at the back. everything seemed to be made easy and the staff were, on the whole, hospitable and accommodating.
some of the flowerbeds seem counterintuitive as they block the natural paths to the rooms. whilst the room was clean the towels smelt of a deep fat fryer which meant the bathroom smelt the same. the bathroom fan took ages to go off and kept us awake leading to frayed tempers. Some of the basics like tissues and facecloths were missing. the room got very hot. Food was ok but a bit expensive for the quality

Helpful staff
Warm and comfortable room
Tea and coffee supplies not enough

Room was very comfortable - a few cobwebs though :( Food was very good and the staff were very helpful.
Cleaning could be tightened slightly - a few cobwebs

Clean. Food was lovely. Staff were extremely friendly
Noise from road, however, was much quieter in night which was important

all was well. there was nothing not to like.

A little bit more expensive than I would expect

Food was outstanding and so was the service. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast so excellent on all servings. Took two children with us and they enjoyed it too. In fact, they asked to go back to the hotel again.
Rooms were a bit dated for my liking, but having said that, they were extremely clean, comfortable and warm.

A real gem of a place with a fantastic pub and kitchen attached. The manager was so thoughtful and kind and they gave us great attention. If you are ever passing by Woodstock and need a place to stay, I can recommend.

We booked a half board option for 1 night away and travelled with our 2.5 year old and our dog.. We were made to feel very welcome and the evening meal and breakfast were really great.. that's coming from a chef in the family.

Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Only a 5 minute drive to Blenheim Palace so it was very convenient. It's about a 25 minute drive to Oxford. We had breakfast and dinner there and the food was great. Would definitely stay again.
Near a busy road so might be some road noise if the windows are open.
3.5
excellent facilities in the room and pub area
The fact that on the first night we had to drive into Woodstock for an evening meal with meant no alcohol and driving in the dark

Large comfortable rooms. Great restaurant in the pub.
Shower needed maintenance
3.5
nice pub
no food available on a Sunday night on arrival at 4 pm ( despite requesting a table for food on booking) as property was not walking distance to anywhere this was a shame we were not advised before hand as we could have booked somewhere in the actual village.

pretty pub and well decorated room
the water wasn’t particularly hot

Very friendly staff. Good room, well appointed and clean. Delicious food. Parking available. Great location for Woodstock and Blenheim and Oxford centre.
5.0
Easy access to lots of sights in the Cotswolds. Great place to stay if you have a car as there is ample parking on site. The room was very nice and slept 3 adults comfortably. The bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The bar and restaurant was quaint and cozy. Great outdoor seating area and garden area that hosted an October festival a few days earlier.

The staff were super friendly.
