The location, the studio, the space around the property for long walks. The peace and the quiet in general.

The lady was nice !
it is very uncomfortable! the bed is in a loft but the stairs are terrible!

The property was in a lovely setting beautiful stone buildings . It was ideal for us for couple of nights on our way from Bergerac to the UK.
Also ideal for our dog who could wander outside safely . The Hostess was there to greet us , and came and waved us off even though it was raining !!!
The spiral staircase to the sleeping area . it was a bit rickety and as the treads were all the same colour, when a visit to the loo ,which was downstairs ,was required it was easy to miss your step . I would suggest painting the leading edge of the treads a different colour .
The hostess did offer to make up the sofa bed on the ground floor if required .

Lovely location, very straightforward to find. Very clean, tidy accommodation. Our host was very friendly and helpful.
A little unsure of the spiral staircase but used with care.

Excellent position , clean and very lovely host

The situation of the property was lovely and peaceful after a long journey. There was everything we needed to prepare our meals.
It wouldn't prevent us booking another time but I think it should be made clear that in the flat we were in had a very narrow and steep spiral staircase which might not suit everyone.
There were also a great many flies but I think that it was the time of year and it's farm fields all around.
4.3
It’s situation and remoteness, ideal for walking our dog.

Welcome, location for our journey and very dog friendly.
Bedside table and light for both sides of the bed and perhaps a chair in the bedroom.

The property was spotlessly clean Anne was a delight she showed me around with mask on 😀 self catering everything you need to cook with fridge etc linen and towels included laundered to perfection complimentary coffee tea sugar salt pepper . The place was so clean after I shower I like to cream my feet and have to walk barefoot for a few minutes not a scrap of dust bits ended up on my feet that's how clean it was . WiFi TV hairdryer washing machine everything you need , dog friendly nice to walk the dogs in the private grounds with secure gated entrance but we did keep them on their leads to be respectful , outside the grounds absolutely beautiful countryside walks stunning scenery . A really welcoming relaxing place to stay , slept like a log the bed was spotless and comfy . Oh air con too but we didn't need it for our stay . Thank you Anne we send you all our best wishes and have passed on your details to friends already . We loved it !
Only that we wanted to stay longer sad we could only be there one night 😔

Absolutely stunning spot! Our host was very friendly and didn't charge extra for our Jack Russell. There was a lovely are to sit outside and have a drink in the evening and Le Clos is surrounded by lovely countryside where we enjoyed a dog walk in the morning. Everything was very clean.

A great place to stay with a very helpful host
4.3
A very useful stopover offering great flexibility for a largish family group needing to cater for itself after a long journey.
A delighful host in residence to deal with any queries.
Its a shame there are no very local shopping facilities - hardly the fault of the host - do arrive with provisions if you need to prepare food in the well equipped and thought out kitchens
