Definitely a rebook here when we return

Staff were exceptional, professional and friendly. They were able to provide us our room by 10am at no charge and also gave us a complimentary breakfast as we arrived at 8:30am. Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet had excellent choices (we forego the western choices and had the thai breakfast items instead). Pool facilities were great.

Wonderful, serene and comfortable.

Wonderful, serene and comfortable. Lovely outside space and located in a quiet part of town yet close enough to walk everywhere. Very warm and helpful staff.

Everything was great, however a small suggestion perhaps to have more variety for the Asian dishes.

Hyggeligt, meget rent og fint hotel. Gennemført stilrent. Super beliggenhed - 10 minutters gang til natmarked og butikker.

rimping village was the perfect place to spend 4 days at the end of our business trip. it was quiet & relaxing with a lovely pool under a shaded tree.

Heerlijk verblijf op loopafstand van centrum

De brug over en je bent uit de ergste drukte van de stad. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en spreken goed Engels. We hebben twee leuke tours met ‘ Wendy Tours’ via hotel geboekt. Aan te bevelen! Zeker de dag naar Doi Inthanon doen! Heerlijk even zwemmen op heetst van de dag en rond middaguur staan wat gratis snacks klaar, maar er is ook een eenvoudige lunchkaart. Heerlijk rustig!! Geen lawaai! Top!

Best accomodation of our 2 week holiday.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room, pool area and gardens well kept and clean. Very good breakfast. Its a 20min relaxed walk from the old city which we liked as it was peaceful.

Relaxing stay

Staff - they were always willing to help, so friendly and polite. Laid back atmosphere- very Chiang Mai.

Hotel was exactly as described, not disappointed. Only real problem was poor air quality due to forest fires in Chiang Rei and farmers burning off crops. Not the property's problem but something to consider if planning a trip in March/April

Really nice, peaceful and beautiful place on a quiet road. Staff is the most polite and nicest people. Breakfast was awesome and afternoon mango and sticky rice with lemongrass tee was the cherry on a cake.

A gem of a place!

Great location, comfortable room, super pool, well maintained, delightful staff. Good breakfast with eggs cooked to order and a great variety of other items. Afternoon snacks are a treat. Free bikes are great, make trip to town very easy and good for exploring further. A wonderful little hotel, would not hesitate to book again!

Great city stay in lovely hotel.

Lovely little place, well kept rooms and nice restaurant / breakfast area. Good selection of food for breakfast which suited us. Quiet in the evening but that wasn’t an issue as its only a 5 minute walk to the Iron bridge (Khua Lek) with access over the Ping river into the centre of town. (There is small alley cut through!) It took us about 15/20 minutes casual walk to get into the old town but there is plenty on the way to stop off and see, drink / eat… The staff were really helpful and polite, helping us with taxi transfers and any other information we needed. We took a private taxi up to Chiang Rai (took 3 hours) There are free bicycles that we used to potter about on too! We only stayed 4 nights but the pool was an added bonus for the days we just wanted to relax. Doesn’t get a lot of direct sunshine due to the huge tree at the side of the property but again wasn’t important for our stay, as it was nice to just chill out for a few hours after a busy day. Rooms were perfect and clean, although the walls are thin (but that seems to be everywhere, not just here!) - highly recommend!

Great value with excellent service in Chiang Mai

We are a family with 11 & 12 year old kids. Our main priorities tend to be: nice breakfast, pool, and a 2 bedroom room. Rimping Village delivers on all three. Breakfast is a great mix of Thai and Western dishes and changes a bit each day, pool is lovely and there’s plenty of space for families to spread out. The service is laid back but very attentive and hospitable. Staff could not have possibly been more helpful and were always helping us arrange rides around town, excursions, restaurants etc.

Beds were pretty hard and you may need ear plugs as the sound is pretty echoey due to the fact that most rooms face the outside.
