So loud! Ruined our vacation :( They did nothing to help.
We requested a quiet room. They gave us a room over the mini market below? It received deliveries on and off all night long and kept us awake. We asked them for a different room and they told us there might be one later but when we returned told us there were none available. When we requested a quiet room they should have told us there were none available but they took our money and RUINED our vacation. We were too tired to enjoy anything :0(

Location fantastic and room was charming.
Water pressure just ok but manageable. Otherwise excellent.

If you are looking for fiercely strong water, hot and plentiful, and air conditioned rooms and spa treatments, this is not the place for you. It's charming and it's antique. The water dribbles out but who cares? It's a great location with grand rooms and it's a good value. It's not for everyone. I loved it and will come back.
Water is super weak and one morning there was no hot water but it was corrected and it's a very old building.

great location in the historical Center, close to Zocalo
It’s a pity that no breakfast is offered for a start of the day.

This historic hotel is filled with authentic antiques and art. The room my friend and I were in was huge. The balcony was charming and windows on the opposite side gave excellent cross ventilation. Parking (additional charge) is at a very good indoor estacionamiento just a few steps from the entrance
Nothing that I can think of.

Beautiful furnishings
They said there was a gym and complimentary breakfast. There wasn’t a gym or any breakfast served. But disappointing as this was the main reason I booked this stay.

We had a very spacious room, which was good because my friend and I have different sleeping habits and need space between us! Very close to the Zocalo, and the many things in El Centro.
We had trouble connecting with the WiFi sometimes, but the hotel staff was helpful in getting us online.

Location
It's extremely noisy. I booked because of the reviews. But reality is very different to pictures and reviews. Hotel is in very bad conditions and unsafe.

The staff, the bed, and the decor
Their claims to be pet friendly. This hotel is not safe for cats. We almost lost her!

Perfectly located to enjoy downtown Puebla. The hotel itself occupies a good portion of a beautiful 18th century house. Our room was large and had a lovely opening balcony.
Well, the building is old. Electrical outlets are really scarce. Piping is old and water pressure is low - while showering, you notice when other people open and close faucets. But the worst of our stay was the last night (Sunday). There was a noisy group of people recording scenes for a music video and they were at it until 2 am! Per the front desk person, this happens often.

Beautiful hotel. So good for the price. We got the king balcony suite and it was so fun
My partner and I tend to be spontaneous travelers and plan / book things last minute. The WiFi doesn’t work in the room we stayed in which was disappointing as it was the suite. The lack of WiFi made out trip a little more chaotic and we ended up spending $40 extra usd to buy data and plan our trip which is annoying but fine. This place would be perfection if they fixed this

The location is great, on the corner of 2 pedestrian streets and small one lane one way road, so it was quite at night.
Staff was friendly and accomodating.
The hotel is very atmospheric, but unfortunately doesn't provide modern day comfort, everything squeaks loudly, so you can't go to a bathrooms without waking up all your family members. Also we could hear all our neighbors, especially troubling was sounds from their bathroom which shared a stained glass window with our bathroom. Some things were broken or working poorly like shower head.

Wonderful old building decorated in period furnishing. Walking distance to sites and restaurants. Ideal location. They kindly help my bags at front desk the day I checked out as I had a few hours before catching the bus back to Oaxaca.
My room was up three flights of winding stairs and staff didn’t take my bag up or down at checkin and checkout. The woman who took me to my room didn’t explain anything, although she did give me a map upon church in. I learned later from the night desk clerk that breakfast is no longer offered due to Covid. Very poor lighting in bathroom.

Hotel was well situated just a few meters from the zocalo. It was beautifully decorated with high ceilings and fine furniture. Rooms are very generously sized with huge TV and cable. Bathrooms were huge and water pressure is good. Downstairs there is a convenience store and across that is a breakfast place and museum.
Some rooms have a wooden door connecting them to the next room, so noise comes through. Minor issue as long as both guests are courteous. :)
