Room with terrace overlooking a quiet street with original and also tourist Vietnamese life.

Great location, in the heart of Hanoi. Elegant hotel. Professional and friendly staff. They suggest and can support booking tours not only in Hanoi. Mr. Jerry organized our Halong Bat tour very well. Good breakfast with beauyifull view. It's clean. I highly recommend booking a room!

Fantastic experience to enjoy Hanoi

Location was perfect, near everything and all the attractions where in near or Close proximity. The staff were fantastic and the best part of our stay - always wanting to make sure that we happy and comfortable.

An exceptional, well priced hotel in the perfect spot for exploring Hanoi with great, friendly staff

The location was excellent. When we arrived from the airport the area had been sealed off for pedestrians around the lake for weekend entertainment but we were met from our taxi by a member of staff on foot who helped carry our bags to the hotel. We were greeted with a cool fruit drink whilst checking in. All staff were extremely helpful and provided useful recommendations for food/sightseeing. The room was very spacious with aircon and a large bathroom. It was so good we booked again on our return from trekking in the north, and third time on the way back through Hanoi from Lan Ha Bay, at which point we were given a surprise room upgrade to one of the best rooms in the hotel. There is a good bar downstairs with daily happy hour and the buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice from hot/cold, local and international options.

Our first room was very good but the window faced onto the next building wall - they had painted a mountain scene to cover up bare concrete but it still meant a darker room. However, we didn't mind because Hanoi is such a bustling city that we didn't spend much time in the room.

Quiet room = great night's sleep.

This hotel was without a doubt the quietest place I had stayed in Vietnam. I couldn't hear noise from the street or above...a real treat! Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Breakfast hal was. A little dingy.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Da Hanoi eh Dreh- und Angelpunkt für verschiedene Reisen ist, wie z.B. Halong-Bucht, Sapa

Sehr nettes und herzliches Personal. Der Hotelmanager Mr. Jerry und sein Team waren jederzeit für uns da, haben uns in der Tourplanung mit vielen nützlichen Tipps unterstützt und waren als Ansprechpartner für unsere Fragen immer erreichbar. Das beruhigt und macht einem den Aufenthalt in einem fremden Land doch sehr angenehm. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker, es gab viele leckere warme und kalte vietnamesische Gerichte, Obst, Gemüse, typischen vietnamesischen Kaffee, Tee, Säfte und Wasser. Täglich konnten wir uns zusätzlich frische Speisen wie z.B. Omelette, Pho Suppe oder pouchierte Eier aus der Küche zubereiten lassen. Das Hotel liegt nahe dem See, ganz zentral in der Hanoier Altstadt und ist mit seiner ruhigen Lage der ideale Ausgangspunkt, um die wuselige Hanoier Umgebung zu erkunden und zu geniessen. Wir hatten immer ruhige, sehr saubere Zimmer, die Klimaanlage war angenehm.

Man war immer sehr gewillt, alles gut zu machen und uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen, insofern hilft es immer Dinge anzusprechen.

Highly recommend this hotel for their warm and helpful staff.

Staff were excellent, helpful and very generous. Surprised me with a cake for my birthday. Comfortable bed and good selection for breakfast. Nice bar, great location and minute walk to the lake, trendy bars opposite the hotel.

Everyone needs to learn from this customer service

All I can say is the customer service is wow. Jerry was extremely patient with me as I changed my dates multiple times. I told him the things i wanted to see and he made sure I was on the right track. Then when the roads were closed for the local market on the weekend, he personally took my luggage and me on a bike to drop off to the area I wanted to go near by.

I had a very great stay. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted warmly by the attentive staff, who ensured a seamless check-in process. The room I stayed in exceeded my expectations in every way. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing me with a very good night sleep. Throughout my stay, I was consistently impressed by the level of service provided by the staff. Especially Kim and Jerry who went out of their way to anticipate my needs before I wanted to ask. I had a great trip to Halong Bay with Jerry support. He is a great man! Overall, my experience at the hotel was nothing short of outstanding. Thank you to the entire team for their hard work and dedication in ensuring that guests have a memorable stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Superb!

Excellent

The best hotel I stayed in Hanoi. Room I had were quite even been in the Old Quarter and near the lake (Location was ideal in getting to the top areas). Breakfast was great. And best of all we’re the staff, very kind to recommend all the things for me. Booking all tours with them was also my wisest choice. Definitely will come back!!!

A disappointing start to our holiday.

There was no natural light in the room, the window looked out onto a wall painted as a beach. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room looked nothing like the photo. The walls were thin and we were woken up multiple times during our stay by guests talking in the corridors

cool hotel, awesome location, no windows in rooms and way overpriced for Hanoi.

The location of this hotel is awesome, just off the beautiful lake/temple in the old Quarter. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In the pictures, it shows the top floor primary suite is having an open air balcony. However, they are putting an addition on, and the balcony now has a roof over the top of it. It was a huge letdown as we were hoping to have sky above us on the balcony.

The non-suite/ traditional rooms have absolutely no windows, if you look at the photo as you can tell that there are mirrors painted on the walls to represent windows. It was all right for a couple of days and because we had the presidential suite on the top for my husband and myself. Our children spent most of their time in our room. Had we been there longer than four or five nights? I think the other rooms would’ve become depressing. they had construction going on in the basement bar the entire time we were there, it wasn’t listed on the website and hotel should be required to list it when they have construction going on inside of them.

The staff here are superb. Honestly the best staff I've ever experienced at any hotel. Dolly and Son were exceptional along with everyone else as well. Very helpful in helping me book tours, store luggage, and overall very friendly. The rooms were perfectly clean. The location is very convenient. The cocktails at the bar were delicious. This place is A+++ and each I come to Hanoi I will be staying bere.

Location was great as it it just around old quarter. Great pizza restaurant just opposite the hotel as well. Staff at the front desk are one of the friendliest i've ever met for my holidays. They speak great english and always greet you as you leave/enter the hotel. Daisy , if i remember correctly, never fails to smile and helped us alot during our 2 nights stay in Hanoi. What can i say , great staff!!

The walls in the hallway were filthy. The walls were paper thin. We could hear the people in the next room having a conversation. We had drinks sent to the room and housekeeping did not collect our dishes 2 days in a row. Hated the frosted glass on the bathroom door

Superb

Good location, good size of the rooms, we had connected rooms 2 double beds with 2 bathrooms, nice cosy bar downstairs

Member of staff at reception told me that cleaner said that my towels were to dirty to clean. I think they were looking for money. I went back to my room and was able to clean towels myself. I was very disappointed. Breakfast could have more continental breakfast options like cheder cheese.
