Allowing us to have parking permit took away the worry about parking our car.
The staff especially one she was exceptional. Made our stay very welcoming. Nothing was a bother. She’s a keeper I think her name was Emelia. Not sure. Blonde lady. Super lovely.

Location
Had a sea view balcony but hotel was covered in scaffolding which spoilt the view and was not told prior to arriving.

So convenient for the Channel Tunnel
Just a little bit tired
3.5
Nothing
In a terrible state of disrepair. Old and dirty inside. Difficult to fathom how this place passed inspection by Booking.com to be accepted on your site. If it was some time ago maybe you want to revisit

Location was ok but nothing else to like I am afraid. Receptionist was friendly and helpful though.
It was a very disappointing stay, even if it was just to sleep for one night before taking the ferry early next morning. The hotel felt like a building site and looked old and completely worn out. We also had to pay another £30 deposit which would be refunded upon departure subject to staff checking for damage?! This tells you everything you need to know....The room we initially had had dirty bedding and hair in the bed (!!) and did not look if it was fit for purpose. We wanted to leave immediately despite it being late and asked for a refund but were then given another room which had clean bedding at least. Even the lift was dirty. Decor, facilities were poor and tired looking, furniture was old and they should not even be called a hotel with such poor furnishings as they are not fit for purpose! This needs a complete refurbishment, cleaning or fumigation and make rooms up to modern standards before being able to run it as a hotel. Awful experience and will never stay in these type of places ever again!

Nothing!
This hotel was unsafe. The locks on the doors were old and didn't always lock. This hotel was also being used to house a number of asylum seekers.
Room exceptionally basis and extremely tired.
An awful experience never to be repeated!

Area was beautiful although lots of road works .
It felt grubby the view in the room showing a dirt roof. The bedding was clean bed creaking

Location brilliant and staff so nice 😉
I aspect in the room table because I couldn’t drink coffee and always we need to sit on the bed also flush in the bathroom was terrible 😢 low pressure made us uncomfortable and scaffolding on the window especially in the morning wasn’t nice

Location was great
Bed was old and noisy. Drunk neighbours kept me up. Fire alarm on Saturday morning at 8am woke us all up.

On the sea front
No master key, rude staff who dealt with my emergency

A former Government contract hotel for asylum seekers.
Smelly, uncomfortable, no food facilities.

Everything staff were very friendly

The beautiful view from room
Old furnitures. Basic furnitures were missing. Plus the room looks old fashioned. The cups were not clean. Toiletries are very basic. Not good quality. Overall quality needs a lot of improvement including stairs and lobby

The staff was really friendly, and good location
We were given a room for less than what we paid, and did not made a refund, the room visually looked clean but was full of dust, the toilet was with beard hair from maybe the last costumer, and the towels were stained.
3.5
Under refurb, not on photos, no bar, rooms very dirty, took 4 rooms before we left and went elsewhere , very poor whatever the price and booking.com shows misleading info on all the above
Very very poor, dirty etc, did not end up staying

Parking was a little difficult. When we went out Saturday we struggled to find a space in correct zone. Hotel seemed really hot inside

Would have liked a soap dish in the shower and more hanging hooks behind the door or against the wall.

Nice views.
Most staff were friendly.
Location misleading.
Bed uncomfortable. Bathroom run down.
Lift scary.
Room neighbours were horrendous & were reason for zero sleep the first night.

Staff was super friendly, there was plenty of bedding in the room, and it was a good size. Location was superb
The hotel really is in a desperate need of refurbishment. No air con, cracks in the walls/ceiling, all fabrics & carpet seemed so old I wasnt sure whether they had been cleaned. I had read the reviews so it wasn’t a shock. It was fine for the 1 night i traveled on a budget but wouldnt stay here for comfort or longer than that
