The key code system made check in smooth and we didn't have to worry about losing the room key. Also the kid could easily access the room by himself. The restaurant in the building was good with excellent staff. Room window could be opened. Beds were comfortable. Ample parking.
We booked a ”Superior” room for 3 persons; 2 adults and 1 child (7 years). The surroundings were rather dull and there was a construction site across the road. The absence of any staff at the hotel became a problem when upon arrival our room had only 2 pillows, 2 towels and no requested extra bed. The double bed consisted of two separate beds and mattresses, which meant one of us was constantly falling into the crack in between. The tv did not work at all (missing program card). The shower booth design allowed for water to fill the bathroom floor, so we had to use our towels to dry the floor. There was no fridge/cooler, no flatiron and no coffee/tea maker, which usually belong to ”superior” room amenities. Breakfast was a bit overpriced (2500 ISK) regarding what was offered. Also the front door digital key system broke down on Sunday as we were leaving, so we could not access the hotel when coming to retrieve our suitcases. Another guest helped us get in by forcing the sliding doors open manually from the inside. Travelling with a child, I regard not being able to open the front doors as quite a serious problem, especially if there had been an emergency. Sorry to sound so negative, but since you asked.

Bon
Personnel rare et très très désagréable !
Aucun respect du Client !

Not a lot.. very unappealing from the outside, the middle of a building site and renovations going on at the site.. no prior warning of either! No staff, shabby tired rooms…

Breakfast was good. A lift to assist with luggage a welcomed addition. The restaurant was welcomed when we arrived in the cold and damp weather. Heating worked well and beds were comfortable.
Location in an industrial area and next door to a building site. Not sure I liked the self check in system. No people to meet you or assist with information. Not even a glass available in the room. No tea and coffee making available either. One of our rooms had poor lighting.

Room was clean and comfortable, hotel is easy walking distance to supermarkets and downtown
Door access code did not work at front door - it was lucky I was with a group of friends whose codes did work. We had to request check in codes for at least three of our rooms, despite being told they would be provided 24 hours prior. Two of our rooms were changed with no notice, so the access codes did not work anyway - this caused delays and unnecessary discomfort. I have stayed here previously with no issues, but the new management is not as good as before, and messages are abrupt or not answered.
They should put staff back into reception, and provide service to their guests.

The photos that were provided on the website are not at all indicative of the property. They were in the middle of renovations with open wires hanging from the ceiling boxes everywhere no reception which we were unaware of. Had to may have a room changed because there were no curtains on the window when there is 24 hours of daylight in Iceland. we would have canceled our night stay had it been nonrefundable which I think is extremely convenient considering the pictures did not in any way reflect the actual hotel. Not to mention it was in the middle of a construction site. So disappointing!
Thought it was self-explanatory based on the comments above, but it was loud because it was in the middle of a construction site. There were things everywhere in the hallways, like electrical wires hanging from open ceilings. No curtains on the windows during 24 hours of daylight, the TVs did not work in both of our rooms, etc. etc. R

The property was okay, and in a nice location.
The building was under construction, so it was a little messy and uncomfortable to be at. 1 of the 2 rooms I booked was not very nice. However the other room was modern and very aesthetic

cerca a la estación de bus 12, de donde salen los tours
me hubiese gustado una opción de desayunos mas variada.

Clean, new rooms.
Still in process of being finished. No decor in room as yet

Street parking if there is space. Away from the center. One of the cheapest in Reykjavík. I prefer to pay something more and have that extra that is missing. Correct.

Vooraf communiceerden we via Booking.com.

nothing, the room was the size of a prison cell, the courtyard view was actually rooftops and I had to stand on the bedside table to see out of the window. the bathroom was cupboard sized with peeling on the bottom of the door and in the shower
Everything! it was very shabby, uncomfortable and overpriced.

Breakfast was great and staff was friendly and helpful with booking taxis and giving directions!

The breakfast was good and the room was clean.
1) The absence of a reception.
Even if in the confirmation email was stated that the there is a reception from 8 to 20:00 during my stay there was no one. We adviced that we could arrive earlier compared the check in time (in the confirmation email was written 14:00 but at our arrival we discovered that due a rearrangement of the management the check in was at 15:00). Usually not a big issue if we could leave our pieces of luggage but we couldn't since the reception was empty. And it is a pity since in the winter there are few hours of lights to explore the city.
2) No vanity kits in the bathroom.
3) No view from the window, since there is construction site.

Skvělá lokalita pro procházky v centru města.
Snídaně byla poněkud chudší, na výběr byli víceméně základní potraviny, nic navíc.

Spacious, bright and clean room. Nice view, good location. Excellent wifi. Receptionist young girl is very kind!
Very essential breakfast, always the same offer.
The breakfast room staff isn't friendly at all.
Reception is open only between 8.00 a.m 8.00 p.m.

Great location for walking Reykjavik, good breakfast, comfortable room, helpful and friendly reception lady. Would stay here again.
Not much, maybe the bathroom; although it is as clean the shower was a little annoying and not much surface area around basin.

Stayed two different nights . One of the beginning at the trip and one at the end. The first night room was just OK. Not a very good view of the alley. Second night that we stayed at the end of our trip room was much brighter and nicer. Staff was friendly hotel was clean. The plus is that they have a restaurant that’s exceptional.
Not crazy about the check in process. They send you a code for your room to your phone and that’s the code used to get in and out of your room. Little old fashion still prefer a key.
Location could’ve been better. Lots of construction going on across the street and quite a long walk to the main part of the city.
3.5
Close to cruise port and easily accessible via taxi. Wonderful buffet breakfast with many options. Within walking distance of shops.
Only Stairs or steep incline to front door of hotel. Difficult with large or heavy or multiple suitcases and no assistance provided by the hotel. Some older ladies had a difficult time without hotel assistance both coming and leaving the property...perhaps not best for clients with large suitcases or older.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable
The room was very warm. Air conditioning did not work

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was very clean and quiet. Priced just right. Breakfast was adequate and included.
Check in email and entry codes worked fine. Hallway was dark so difficult to enter the code into keypad but otherwise very smooth. The receptionist when she was at the desk was not very friendly. Felt like I was disturbing her work on the computer.

I liked that the bus stop was right at the hotel.
There is major construction going on on the backside of the hotel, as well as the front side of the hotel with starting times as early as 7 AM. I woke up to the sounds of breaking glass, pounding of cement and throwing heavy items into a dumpster. The next morning they started at 7:45 AM, both construction sites are in the very beginning and this will go on for a long time. The Hotel either has to discount their rooms and have full disclosure that there is construction noise. They should offer earplugs as well. The woman at the reception desk was not apologetic, nor sympathetic to my complaint other than saying she would let the management know. The self service concept is not welcoming, nor does it give you a feel that there’s anybody there to provide any service to you. For $200 a night, I would expect some service. The breakfast did not have many options for gluten-free or dairy free diet restrictions. They only had corn flakes.
3.5
The location, the room and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was not so good. It was store bought juice and basic muesli & yogurt and standard sandwiches. The bread was delicious though.
3.5
The property was clean and comfortable and not far from the centre of Reykjavik
There was construction work going on at the front and back of the property and finding a place to park wasn’t always easy.
3.5
Staff were helpful.
The ensuite bathroom was unsatisfactory. Too small and not as shown in photos. Shower was to small to effectively shower in, no vanity or bench space. Had to prop open the ensuite door to provide enough space to dry off after a shower. Room general condition was tired and did not provide value for the rate charged.
3.5
Clean, comfortable
Parking! Only a few spots for hotel guests the rest are paid street parking
3.5
Very friendly staff. Decent breakfast included. Quiet at night (when not facing construction site).
Make sure to avoid the noisy side of the hotel - there will be construction until 2024 I guess. Prices are high.

we were extremely disappointed in the property. although the location was good.
the hotel rooms were small an spartan. the biggest disappointment was the lack of accessibility. the steps into the facility were difficult to utilize as they were a bit steep moreover they were slippery when wet. I asked about another way in/out and the front desk person indicated they would assisst with egress through the restaurant. more concerning was the shower. in order to use the shower a person needs to step up about 12inches into the shower. there was not a hand rail and the shower was small when I inquired about concerns with the shower, I was advised that they do not advertise accessible facilities. moreover a ramp located outside by the stairs which was also not accessible. due to poor weather my partner and I sat in the lobby as the room was uncomfortable and difficult to navigate around each other
in addition, the breakfast was barely edible due to limited selection. we also ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was not very good. my partner had a pasta dish the had a bland sauce. I had a seafood and pasta dish and the dish had a flavor but the seafood was small.

great location
a bit pricey
