About this bed and breakfast
Newly renovated Guest/Pool House located on the 10th hole of the Charleston Municipal Golf Course.
Located in the historic Charleston, South Carolina neighborhood, Riverland Terrace. Riverland Terrace was first developed starting in 1925. It is one of James Island, South Carolina's oldest neighborhoods. The Terrace is located 10 minutes west of downtown Charleston along Wappoo Creek and the inland waterway. The neighborhood boasts a public boat landing, Charleston Municipal Golf Course, a playground, sever restaurants, and numerous antique shops.
Leading into the neighborhood is the historic Avenue of Oaks, consisting of 73 live oak trees believed to be over 100 years old. The avenue of oaks had been begun about 1910, and the developers completed the installation of the oaks during the landscaping of the neighborhood starting in 1925. In 2017, neighborhood residents had issues with the local electrical company cutting down trees unnecessarily.
The Terrace consists of approximately 800 homes. Fort Pemberton, a Civil War fortification built-in 1862, remains today.
Our guest house features a shared pool (though we never use), full kitchen, off-street parking, washer, dryer and dishwasher for you to use.

The property was perfect for me and my daughter and two grandkids. They provided everything you could need and the pool was perfect for our use. Neighborhood was quiet and golf course within walking distance. Alicia was our host and she was very friendly and accomodating.

My mom and I went to visit my niece. This property is in a great location, close to the beach, downtown and the airport. The pool was much needed in the 90+ temps. Host on property was so sweet and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

This property was extremely well maintained, has attentive hosts, and was perfectly located between Folly Beach and Charleston’s Historic District. It was, by far, one of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Having a pool to soak in after a hot day or the ability to play a round of golf at the city course that is literally across the street makes this property a diamond. But small touches like having an ice maker, luxury towels, and easy check in made it shine.

The house was exactly as advertised! We stayed 3 nights and bounced between downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, and Beaufort. The house was perfectly located, close to a lot of restaurants, and was well equipped. My only real complaint is that the pool was being cleaned during our entire stay, so we were unable to use it. Wasn't a huge deal, but had I brought my children, they would have been disappointed. TV channel access is VERY limited, so you'll want to log in to your own Netflix account or the like if you plan to use the TV.

Our trip was perfect from the moment we pulled up. The apartment is perfect for a family of 4. It has everything you need as well. The pool is great with pool toys for the kiddos and very comfortable chairs for the adults. The neighborhood is amazing as well. There are parks and the best local golf course just steps away. Blake was an amazing host and checked on us and made sure our trip was perfect. Thank you!!!

My son and I were in Charleston for a golf tournament and found the accomodations perfect for a 5-night stay. The full kitchen was nice and properly outfitted to cook, although we did not. Two sizeable bedrooms upstairs gave us privacy and the beds were very comfortable. Location on James Island is very good.
Owner was very hospitable and prompt in communicating. We will return.

Fabulous
The property owners are excellent. They really went above and beyond to meet expectations. The house is adorable and perfect for a long weekend. The location is 5 mins from grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. Depending on traffic you’re 10 mins from downtown Charleston and 15 from Folly Beach. It was nice to have a quiet and tranquil place to rest after a busy day of site seeing. We will be back!!!!!

Communication Excellence
Days before we occupied the property the owners were very punctual answering any questions we might have. Sometimes the owners response would come within minutes. The property is in excellent shape and as you enter the residence you know immediately that not only do the owners pay great attention to the details, their follow up process with any questions asked during our stay was outstanding. Thank you A for all your assistance!

We really enjoyed our stay. The host has made sure that guest will find comforts of home. I appreciated that there was tea and coffee and plenty of toiletries. You don’t find that in many places!

Spring Break
We had a lovely stay and enjoyed it very much. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. The only thing that was lacking was not enough chairs in the living area. We brought 2 chairs in from the pool area and made it work.

We had a great time during our stay. The house was perfect size for our family of 4. The owners were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed multiple times throughout our stay. The location was close to all the places we visited in Charleston! It was great. We would definitely stay here again. Our deepest condolences to the owners for the passing of their father. Awesome location no matter where you are going
The property is super nice and clean. It is located centrally to the beach, downtown, the big park, and many other places. Everything works well and we did Thanksgiving there. The pool is not heated but the kids didn't care. It was a perfect covid getaway.

Very clean and nice location
It was honestly the cleanest rental we have ever stayed. The location is a great centralized location for checking out Charleston. The owner was very friendly and communicated well. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to stay again in the future. Bonus: they have a Tesla outlet in the garage!

Great space.
Great weekend in Charleston. Outside the city and very quiet place off the street. Very clean and well stocked house. Didn’t get to enjoy the indoor pool but looked very nice as well. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to rental giving me a huge pickup truck but that worked out as well.

Looking for a Unicorn
My family really needed a break after being home for weeks due to COVID 19, but we were not ready to be back around tons of people at a hotel. This space was perfect because it had two bedrooms, a full kitchen and a private indoor pool. The location was great because it was half way between the historic areas downtown and Folly Beach.
