Small bedroom with double bed, with limited storage space

Beautiful location and really good base for exploring the Cotswolds.
The lodge was well furnished, clean and the beds were super comfy.
The owner was really friendly and helpful and offered to provide anything we’d forgotten.
We would love to come back again and bring our dog next time.
Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to be near Cirencester.
Maybe more lighting outside.

We forgot the code but Neil was there to help us,
He is a perfect host
The waste bins in the park should be emptied more often.
4.8
Lovely place with all amenities Close to lake
The teenagers next door played loud music on our last day and it ruined the stay for us

We had a really lovely stay here. It had everything we needed.

The house is very light and comfortably furnished, with all the requisite cooking utensils and crockery. Easy to find and easy parking outside and of course that wonderful view of the lake form the lounge and decking area. There is also a good restaurant/bar on-site for the days one doesn't feel like cooking in or for light refreshment. Neil the host was very friendly and popped in to tell us about the area, walks, shopping etc. A good useful walk around the lake if you bring your dog.
Nothing to dislike.

Great location to visit Cotswolds wildlife park & Bird-land 30 min drive away, local shop in close distance, plenty of parking spaces, easy access to the cafe located on the same street, great dog walking routes, clean, nice welcome with a cake and milk for the tea & coffee(available at the property), extra plus was the Nespresso coffee machine, the lake itself is fabulous. Neil is very helpful and will make you feel welcome.
Everything was great no dislikes

The location was unreal, the house was perfect, with everything you need and want, amazing views of the lake and easy access to restaurants, bars, cafes, water sports etc. Perfect country retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds. Neil is an amazing host living locally for anything you need.
Will stay again for sure!

Location was great. Facilities good. Host friendly. Beds comfortable. Everything you need is available.
Only one key. Outside needs sprucing up. Glass tops on tables wouldn't be child friendly sharp corners. But I would go again just suggestions.

Neil was a great host with lots of great recommendations for the area. The deck to the lake was an amazing place to just sit and relax and the area was great with a couple of pubs a 15 minute walk away.

Spacious - big enough for all 6 of us comfortably.
Could have provided more loo roll - that’s about the only criticism!

Fantastic stay at Nola Lodge for new years. Very clean and superbly kitted out. Walks a plenty out the door and the hosts were a dream to communicate with and very helpful in making sure there was a travel cot and high chair already set up for our baby. Will be back for sure!

The support provided by Neil , the chap looking after the lodge was 100%. , doing his best to help us with our issues with the property and was a credit to the owners.
We had no running water due to frozen pipes for the first 2 nights so we couldn't flush the toilets or have a shower. We used bottled water to flush the toilets and went to a nearby hotel for showers which was incovenient.
It would have been excellent if a. the heating was left on before we moved it to avoid the pipes freezing and b. if the immersion tank in the main bedroom was not so noisy.

Nola Lodge was a beautiful place to stay for a few days with family in a peaceful location with everything we needed to make it a home from home
We had to leave😥

Well presented, clean, excellent location, and peaceful
The boiler could do with being quieter and being picky I would have liked a tv in the main bedroom.
4.8
Location was incredible and very quiet with more exciting things easily reachable nearby such as, fishing, watersports, cycling, restaurants and much more.
The lodge itself has a lovely large balcony right on the edge of the Spring lake with gorgeous views both day and night. The home is very comfortable with most things you need for your getaway with the bonus of being dog friendly too. It is a wonderful place to stay and explore both South Cerneys vast lakes and the Cotswolds or a place to relax in peace and quiet, very comfortably with wonderful views. You won't regret a stay here and will likely wish to return like us.
The home could do with being thoroughly cleaned inside and out instead of the usual take over clean down as areas are visibly neglected. There was some rubbish on the decking and cobwebs in all rooms. Some bedroom lamp shades were completely covered in webs, the bathroom sky light utterly congested with webs on the inside, not what you would expect from a high end holiday home.
The balcony also would benefit a wipe clean now and again so it looked tidier and black grime didnt transfer if leaned on the front porch would benefit from the same TLC.
There was a large hole on the front of one of the sofa cushions that could easily be repaired so the interior didn't look tired. Then the outdoor sofa cushions need better outside storage as the storage box was letting in water so it did not keep the cushions dry to be able to use when wanted.
These issues did not deter us from enjoying this fabulous home on the water during our stay here just would think they should not exist and can do easily be resolved, a little TLC would make a big impact on your idyllic holiday home.

Location was great, lots of lovely walks and lakeside setting. House was clean and comfortable and well equipped.
The view of the Lake from the decking was obscured by foliage and the view was the main reason for booking.

Great terrace views, speedboats passing fun for kids, easy distance of everything, all facilities you need on site
Not as cycle friendly roads as anticipated.

Neil was a great host.
Very nice house and decking with sunset views. Great for bbqs.
Very cosy.
Had to turn the immersion heaters off at night to sleep. Also dishwasher didnt work and we didnt have a washing up bowel.

The location was fantastic. Gorgeous view of the lake and we cycled to all our activities. Local cafes and shops were lovely as well and a huge range of activities on the doorstep.
We've got a hybrid and missed being able to charge the car as no charge point. We also felt a bike rack/stand would be good to secure the bikes to
