Fab little weekend away!

We loved it!! It's such a lovely place, and we had everything you need for a weekend away. Lovely attention to detail and very comfortable. Claire was very easy to communicate with in the run-up and made us feel very welcome. Sweet little village, we booked it so we could go to Soho Farmhouse which was very close. Would 100% recommend and we'll be back!

Amazing host, beautiful property

We were delayed and arrived late yet Claire still came out to say hello, she had left the keys in the property. Claire put in all efforts to make our stay enjoying from fresh flowers to wine. The space has a gorgeous country vibe and we enjoyed having the sun roof open for air (even in the rainy summer)

Nothing of the stay - we attended for a wedding and taxis were extremely expensive to get from this location

Peaceful, charming and idyllic.

Fresh bread with local butter and jam were left along with tea and coffee facilities . Perfect for breakfast.

Would highly recommend!

Beautifully decorated and great location, excellent attention to detail! Very comfortable bed and rainfall shower. The host was lovely and her husband even drove us to Soho farmhouse when we couldn’t get a taxi on checkout.

Nothing, except I couldn’t find any cutlery (I’m sure it was probably there somewhere!) and the checkout could have been ever so slightly later.

Opulent, comfortable and private, just what the soul needed to relax. Highly recommend.

The privacy being above the garage afforded. It allowed for an even more relaxed environment.

The cooking facilities were quite limited, but I appreciate the restrictions are due to health and safety parameters. There was a slight issue with the shower temperature but the host did her best to resolve the issue.

Cosy, welcoming apartment ideal for a couple poking to stay in the Cotswold and attend Soho House.

As soon as you got the main property it was just so well presented. Then when you went in side it was so clean, smelt amazing and was just very cosy.

There were some nice extra touches like complementary prosseco and chocolates. And there was a nice beautiful, picturesque view of the the countryside and the sheep.p

There was no hot water for the first shower of oul stay but that did not last long and the problem rectified itself.o

Restful, easy and a delight!

The house was beautiful and the annex where we stayed was clean, cosy and so cute with all the amenities one would require including some really thoughtful touches such as bread and jam for breakfast and mini Proseccos in the fridge. The family were so welcoming and kind. Claire even dropped us back to our car which was parked at soho farmhouse which is really nearby for anyone wishing to visit who can’t book a room there.

We loved everything!

Fabulous base for Blenheim Horse Trials visit.

The hosts were amazingly friendly and welcoming. Apartment was amazingly clean.

Nothing to "not like". But maybe a small electric oven would be of benefit, but combi/microwave worked OK.

Amazing host and beautiful stay

Very clean, very tidy, perfectly located with a 10 minute drive to soho farmhouse. Claire was a pleasure to communicate with and super accommodating.

Lovely hosts. Perfect accommodation.

The hosts were so warm and welcoming. Everything in the apartment was immaculate with lots of little details to make my stay comfortable and extra special. I would highly recommend this place.

The Doctors Retreat has a luxurious feel and is a very good base for exploring the Cotswolds.

Exceptionally clean and stylish furnishings with a pretty view from the window. Super friendly hosts who looked after us very well.

Idyllic country break

Situated in a wonderfully quiet location but with easy access to Oxford and the Cotswolds. The apartment was in immaculate condition and was spotlessly clean. Claire was a helpful host and even left us a few treats and basics in the apartment on arrival. We would definitely stay again.
