I love everything about this property. It’s my favourite place to stay for rest and relaxation. I shall definitely be booking again.

The breakfast was lovely, the hosts were very understanding and let us have friends round while my boyfriend did there hair for a wedding
Maybe if the check out time was A little later, apart from that all was very good.

The lodge was situated perfectly for a quiet, relaxing and restful break. No nearby traffic noise. Fairly modern inside and 100% spotlessly clean. The facilities inside the lodge were excellant. The kitchen was great for me because I like to cook all our food and usually I find there are always things you need that aren't there, but not in this kitchen (except a sharp knife to prep veg with). The large shower was bliss, power and plenty of very hot water! Never seen such a huge bed - you don't need to be friends in this one! Little patio area to sit and enjoy the sunshine and sounds of nature. Easy check-in and check-out. Hosts reachable and attentive if needed. Will definitely return. Highly recommend for a getaway break.
Nothing negative - loved it all!

Fabulous property. Had everything we needed. Bed was so comfy, great sized shower and kitchen was well kitted out. Had a great breakfast hamper provided for us as well which was a lovely touch. Gary and Gill were quick to reply to any queries i had prior to our stay

Perhaps there could be an iron and ironing board available.

Great cottage, very well equiped and for once hot water was not a problem! Everything you need for a quite vacation. Hosts gave suggestions on places to eat and visit prior to arrival which allowed for upfront planning. Thank you!
There really wasnt anything

The shower, nice space, quite quiet and well equipped throughout.
Bit disappointed that there was no internet at the time of our stay, especially as the pictures show streaming services on a big TV which I was looking forward to. This was no fault of Jill and Gary and didn't ruin our stay.

The property was spotless and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable indeed and the shower had a regular head plus a waterfall head. Lots of room in the shower, too. The whole property is really spacious, with comfy sofas, high ceilings and a large TV. We loved the gardens and enjoyed watching the goldfinches and rabbits. The location was also extremely quiet, which was great for us. We had no issues at all, in any respect. We were happy with the whole process and Gary and Gill were quick to respond, leading up to our stay. The additional information they kindly sent us, was very useful. We would definitely recommend this property.

Quite simply excellent - beautiful countryside, incredibly quiet with great walks. The hosts.are exceptional - kind and unobtrusive and ready to help with any question. We loved the welcome pack and guidance on local things to do and places to see - my thanks to them both.
Nothing!

Lovely communication from Gill and Gary, plus the thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable were really lovely.
The bed is enormous and really comfortable
My satnav always sent me to the wrong road - but no negatives about the stay

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a lovely quiet setting. Everything you needed in the property for a great relaxing stay. Huge comfortable bed and great size rooms. Lovely shower unit as well.
Maybe mirror instead if picture above dressing table to be able to use hairdryer as no socket close to the large mirror.

Church Farm lodge is perfectly situated for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing stay. A hidden gem in the Norfolk countryside with wildlife all around. The bed was the comfiest we have stayed in and the patio at the rear is perfect for a quiet evening in the sun.
Having to leave to go home.

the lodge has everything you need. the bed is very comfortable and the shower was excellent. We especially liked the welcome pack. we had a lovely relaxing peaceful weekend.
nothing.

Beautiful cottage, really comfortable. Excellent heating and everything provided. Great location.
The only thing that the property could benefit would be a washing machine especially if you are staying longer than a week.

Church Farm Lodge was very clean and comfortable but not very easy to find in the dark, even with directions from the host. The property is in a small hamlet which was not a problem for us and it is very easy to find your way around the area. The kitchen was very well equipped but an iron and an ironing board would be useful. The shower was very good and the table and chairs on the small patio were lovely to have our cup of tea outside and enjoy the morning sun.
We would suggest replacing the painting over the chest of drawers with a mirror as the plug socket is next to the drawers and too far away from the existing mirror for using the hair dryer.

The lodge was spacious, very clean and well equipped.
Lovely rural location away from any hustle and bustle.
Gary recommend some lovely pubs locally which were all withing 10-15min drive. Highly recommend the Red Lion and Waggon and Horses.
Holt is a lovely little town and worth a visit approx 45min drive away.

The location for us was just what we wanted for our short break. very relaxing and certainly would love to return again. Thank you for the welcome pack it was most welcome and the spare apples, which we used for a crumble :-)
Nothing to dislike

The very quiet location. The quality of the furniture and kitchen appliances. Everything you needed for a self catering holiday provided including a good welcome pack with milk, bread, tea and coffee, bacon and tomatoes and chocolate biscuits. Although it was not warm enough to sit out it was good to have a private terrace with table and chairs.
Very little. We would have liked some cleaning materials for the kitchen and bathroom especially as there is still Covid around and we stayed for a week.

The space and design of the lodge is ideal... Gill was very friendly and helpful... would definitely go back.
Couldn't fault our stay

It was just what we were looking for, a peaceful setting lovely place with everything we needed and a little something left by the hosts, some food and a few essentials all very greatly appreciated. Only briefly met one of the hosts when we arrived she was very friendly and helpful. Excellent WiFi and tv selection including Netflix, all perfect if you just want to relax.

We sat outside the back of the barn on a paved area. Whilst eating we had a close up view of the local nature including a green woodpecker, squirrel, rabbits, swallows and a red kite. In the afternoon we sat out the front of the barn and were delighted to watch the flying display of the swallows.
The isolated location meant no passing traffic noise just what you would expect from being in the countryside. The only let down was the jet noise of several F15s on 2 nights for a couple of hours.

The peace and tranquility. I am in post stroke recovery and also celebrated my 65th birthday.
The lodge is amazing couldn't have wished for better. I had a great birthday. The view from the bedroom is beautiful. Lovely welcome pack. Everything you need to have a relaxing time.
We could live there, we didnt want to leave. The inside is tastefully done. Everything you could possibly need / want.
Really enjoyed our stay.
Weather was lovely. Sat out most of our stay.
Pheasants and rabbits came to visit. Loved it.
Thank you so much for opening the lodge to us and so many others. We had a wonderful time.
We hope to come back.
Just being a bit picky The weeds. However its a personal thing. I would have a cottage garden that would attract just as many if not more butterflys and bees. Make the the outlook more beautiful and enhance visitor experiences.
It did not spoil anything. I was just wanting to do it as its a gorgeous place.
