lovely accommodations and host thought of everything for a comfortable stay, including a bottle of wine and beach supplies. Easy walk to great restaurants and shopping and can walk to downtown. Host was easily reachable and gracious. Wondering stay. No complaints. Our new “go to” place to stay when visiting Charleston
nothing. it’s great

Rooms were very nice. The bath were nice but got everything wet. Parking was nice.
It would have been nice to know that the stairs were a small spiral staircase. It would have been difficult if you were elderly or challenged.

Charming cozy unit. Owners were great. Short walk to main areas. Bed was comfortable.

Location was excellent for getting to downtown. Felt very safe. The owner was very accommodating. They supplied a bottle of red wine but changed it for a bottle of presecco when I explain wife dis not drink red and we were on our honeymoon.
The room was comfortable and we'll stocked
Lack of external seating. Lots of construction was happening on site. The bed was too soft for us

Location was great - neighborhood has some real restaurant finds! Hostess was most responsive - replied instantly when texted; she was most willing to provide additional coffee pods when requested. It's always a delight to start a fun day with a great cup of coffee.
Mini-suite was most comfortable - charming European style bathroom.
Minor detail - it was a bit tight getting a small suitcase up the spiral entry staircase.

Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable. Neighborhood was cool and we found a great restaurant.
The construction made the site unattractive. Didn’t meet the “luxury” description. Our smoke alarm “broke” during our stay and had to be fixed late at night. We weren’t offered any compensation for this. Also the shower is designed in a way that leaves the floor soaked. Made it uncomfortable to use the bathroom

The location was perfect for us. Away from the hustle and bustle but a short bike ride away from most areas of interest. The host was prompt with her responses and very accommodating. They offer private parking off the main road which is definitely a plus in Charleston. The congregation at the nearby St Patrick's Catholic Church are very welcoming.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. However, we did not care for the all-in-one bathroom. Meaning that the shower head is in the middle of the wall with no enclosure. Everything would get wet including the toilet. Also, the spiral stairs are a bit tight when carrying luggage or groceries.

Cleanliness cleanliness what else do I have to say with the current issues facing all of us regarding covid. A major bonus location location location. History at its best you learn about it so you envision it you feel it.

The facility was spacious clean and comfortable. It was near a spectacularly good funky restaurant we went to three times! The neighborhood was lovely, walkable and gracious. Parking at the concert venues was challenging but. Workable.
I wish the trash had been taken out daily; there was no maid service during our stay. The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom floor, apparently by design. Workable but icky.

There was no breakfast unless you count a granola bar and coffee. The spiral staircase was very small, so the owner was kind enough to carry our luggage up and down.
We didn’t like the spiral staircase because it was small and open. The shower did not have a safety handle.

The room was clean, nicely furnished and remodeled. Food and drinks were within easy walking distance and were plentiful and tasty. Check-in was super easy. Parking was simple and directly behind the house. Room was clean. The location is within the pedal cab area, so we could call a pedal cab if we wanted. Host was kind, accommodating and communicative. There was even tea, coffee, wine, water, and granola bars for us.
The sheets were not cotton (poly blend of some sort), so they didn’t breathe. The body parts under the sheets would get hot and sticky while the parts sticking out/above the sheets would get cold.

The location is excellent. Very walkable and full of wonderful neighborhood restaurants we might have missed if we weren’t staying there.
The room is small, but still excellently done. We were very comfortable.

Bed was very comfortable!
Restoration and restructure is great. Communication with the host was great.
Parking on site.
Did not meet the host.
Not really downtown as we had assumed.
2+ mile walk to downtown.
Noise from upstairs; sounded like they were stomping on the floor.
Speedway out front.
We booked the King suite with a full bed (I have the confirmation) so we would have plenty of room but, when we arrived, were given the smaller King suite without the full bed. About 100 square feet smaller. Not sure if the price was the same. Wife was not happy. We had bookings elsewhere and changed to this place because it says it is downtown. It is not right downtown if walking.
2+ miles. Not close to anything if walking. Close for driving I guess. Good thing we decided to get a rental car at the airport or it would have been a terrible vacation. Parking spots are few and expensive but we used the bus system a day or two and the pedicab (also expensive). All in all it was comfortable and cozy and we had a nice vacation on the East Coast. Although we did not meet the host she seemed nice through our communications, and she mailed my glasses to me that were left there. We will research far in advance for our next vacation so there are fewer hidden surprises.
Waking up without a backache, the extremely comfortable bed was worth the stay for me.

The host was super accommodating and prepped the room early for us. Good communication before arrival. The room was clean and comfortable and even had drinks and a mini fridge. Good natural lighting. Convenient parking. Close to good places to eat.
The vent/light in the bathroom needs to stay on for awhile to get the dampness down post showers but otherwise a great bathroom and shower.

Thoughtful amenities, ie wine, snacks, plus the expected coffee, fridge, etc. Very clean. Extremely comfortable bed.
The room was small; no chairs. Our suitcases took up the only seating in the room; a bench at the end of the bed. It was a bit far from downtown. We had to use the car for all of our sightseeing. Our room was on the second floor, accessible only by a spiral staircase that was very narrow.
