Outstanding in every way

Fabulous location. My daughter and I walked all over Charleston with ease from our hotel to get to our activities, sights, and shopping. We especially enjoyed the champagne toast upon arrival, happy hour, and warm cookies and cold milk at bedtime. Loved our stay

Un muy grato " HAPPY HOUR"

Nos sorprendió gratamente sus extras, la hora de quesos y vinos (bastante más surtido que vinos y quesos!!!!), un aperitivo bien completo, todos los días a las 17:30 hrs. y por las noches galletas, café, leche y té y a un costado de la recepción, diferentes tipos de caramelos, que serían la fascinación de los huéspedes infantiles.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this charming Hotel

Fantastic central location easy access to central Charleston. Bedrooms outstanding. Great care taken to ensure our comfort and good nights sleep. Amazing extras. Champagne on arrival and daily in the evening was a lovely touch as was the cheese and wine every evening. Breakfast offered was good. Very friendly hotel staff.

Beautiful a must stay

The entire staff was exceptional to include Ben the valet, concierge, Marvin Coaxum Operations Manager at the Front Desk Kim & Samantha were so helpful. They provided answers to all our request. House Keeping was marvelous ! Everything, the entire property was spotless! On arrival we were treated with champagne, smiles and hello’s and welcome from everyone we met and true southern hospitality. Every morning breakfast was served ( gratis ) in a beautiful common area decorated with beautiful furniture and access to a patio garden complete with fountain and fruit trees. Wait it gets better! Every evening at 530pm wine charcuterie was available. We were pampered at every turn. Located down town Restaurants and mueseum at short walk away. We can’t over praise the French Quarter Inn! The staff was phenomenal! We shall return! Frank & Dianne

Great location and wonderful amenities!

The amenities and little touches at the this hotel make it a better value and are very enjoyable. I expected a breakfast buffet, but you can also order from a menu and have additional options delivered to your room! The afternoon happy hour is wine but not just cheese, there was a very nice spread more along the lines with full charcuterie. And the evening cookies were fresh baked and delicious. Bikes were available for use and the staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you French Quarter Inn!

The hotel decor is a bit dated and some areas of the lobby, which is on the second floor, were under construction. If the space were different it would lend to a livelier feel.

Location

Under construction- did not know before hand Teens not staying at hotel entered building during happy hour. Just did not have the same elegance as when we stayed there before.

Lovely stay!

The location was great, right in the middle of town. The older lady in the front staff was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and made you feel welcome! Beds and pillows were comfortable and it was quiet to sleep at night. Just right breakfast.

I didn't know where to go when I arrived-there was no valet or check in desk. I wandered around trying to find someone to help us and then I found out that the lobby is under construction.

I think the price point was a bit high for this location being several blocks from the waterfront and the fact they don’t have a full restaurant/ bar on site.

We had a good time and glad that we chose this hotel.

Excellent location. Breakfast could be improved. The boiled eggs tasted like cardboard and there were no healthy bread options, which I had inquired specifically before our departure. The evening cookies were tasty (tasted one), but healthy options (almond flour, sugarfree, etc.) would be an added bonus. The unlimited supply of water and the turndown service was great. The staff were very professional and helpful at all times.

Overall, we liked almost everything about the hotel, especially the cleanliness and it's location. As stated above, some improvement could be made to the food options.

It was a great girls trip. My friend turned 85 this month and we has a wonderful time.

Breakfast was good. Excellent location, we only used Uber once during a rain storm. Averaged walking 3-5 miles each day we were there.

I wasn’t aware there was a spa on the property. I would have used it.

A+ score all around!

Perfection and thoughtfulness in every single detail! We celebrated our anniversary here and the manager had a custom written and hand signed note for us in our room, along with a bottle of champagne! Gorgeous building kept in pristine condition! If you’re like me and value all the details, you will love it here! Even the stairwells had murals painted on the walls! I can’t say enough good things about the place.

It was a great stay. Very well run boutique hotel. Beds were awesome.

Breakfast was fine but quite limited. Should not have staff cleaning windows or blowing leaves during breakfast.

Could have a shuttle from the airport. Could join up with another hotel or two.

Affordable luxury

The room was beautiful and spacious, especially the bathroom. The hotel feels luxurious but not too pretentious. Our favorite part was the wine and cheese hour, as well as the milk, cookies, and port wine at night. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is right next to Charleston market and is within walking distance to numerous restaurants and bars.

The breakfast food was just average, but it was nice that we could have it as room service.
