About this house rental
A prime location, private plunge/dipping pool (that heats up to 104 for those cool days), panoramic golf views, open floor plan, and abundant natural light are just a few of the elements that make this home such an ideal Kiawah Island retreat.
This home is just over a 5 minute bike ride to the beach or a 15 minute walk. Turtle Point clubhouse is just up the cart path with Italian dining inside or on its beautiful deck.
The home offers a spacious four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms provide king sized beds with private bathrooms and the bunk room is equipped with two full and twin bunks plus a bathroom.
At 3,416 square feet the home is perfect for a large family or two families to share. The open, airy, floor plan is highlighted with a neutral coastal decor throughout. The vaulted living room ceiling with skylights makes for plentiful light! Feel free to find a vacation read from the home’s little library.
The kitchen boasts high end, large scale appliances that, along with a complete supply of kitchen amenities, makes it a perfect place for preparing large meals for your group or family. You’ll find ample space for dining with counter seating for 6 and a dining table to accommodate 8.
The large master suite is conveniently located on the main level of the home. The bathroom includes a soaking tub with tile surround, walk-in shower, large vanity with dual sinks, and skylights.
Upstairs, there is an office area with a desk and basic supplies, in a quiet spot, if you absolutely must work while you are on vacation. Two guest bedrooms each have king sized beds and their own bathrooms, offering privacy for visitors.
A bonus room over the garage has ample space and bedding for all the teens/kids to hang out. With two bunk sets (twin over full) and trundles, loungers, TV with x box and games, Foosball table.
The homeowners have graciously added some helpful items for traveling with children such as beach towels, pack and play (3), high chair, booster, kids table and chairs/picnic table, baby monitor, sound machine, and some games and toys.
The outside deck has an amazing golf course view of Turtle’s 9th hole tee box. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy with dining for 8, conversation table set, loungers, and the dipping pool. A Weber grill is just off of the kitchen. Outdoors you can enjoy a game of corn hole or a jumbo jenga set! The garage is available for bike storage, extra fridge, and use of a ping pong table.
During cooler months the pool can be heated for an additional $50 per day plus tax (four day minimum required). The pool heater is quite efficient and can heat the pool very warm for use in the colder months. No pets/smoking!
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings.

Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Check in and check out procedures were super easy with little required of the renter. The house was as described with a couple exceptions-beach towels were provided and the kitchen was not bare of oils, a few spices etc. The kitchen was absolutley stocked with anything you could need to cook a meal or enjoy a beverage of any type. The house was clean and adequately stocked with bath towels, toilet paper and trash bags. We enjoyed the deck and pool area. All furniture and pool were in working order.We rented bikes (one with a trailer) and rode to the beach. Bike rental is a must on the island. The kids all had activities inside and outside the home to keep them busy. The home is large enough for your party to space out and breathe/rest. The furniture and beds were comfortable. I highly recommend 13 Angler to anyone who wants to get away and relax. Our favorite meal was at The Royal Tern (worth the drive) and our least favorite was at Cherrywood BBQ. We loved Freshfields Village and visited several times. The Nest was also an easy bike ride for an afternoon snack or coffee. Thanks to the Kelly family for sharing their amazing home with us. We can't wait to come back.

This home is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating for adults in the living room and lots of space for kids to play in the room over the garage. The kitchen is well furnished also. Nice dishes for adults, nice unbreakable dishes for the kids. Plenty of drinkware and mugs. Great cookware and utensils. We all enjoyed the heated wading pool. Beautiful deck overlooks the golf course. Very quiet neighborhood. We had a great time!

A great spot for our group of 7. Big, clean, and only a short distance from the beach. The heated plunge pool/hot tub was used regularly and the large kitchen and living areas were ideal for our group. We will be back!!

They home was nice and the kitchen was well stocked. However we were extremely disappointed about the spa. We believe ESPM and the owners of the property were not upfront with us about the spa heating element not working. The spa was also full of debris. After multiple calls and text no maintenance came out to check on the spa in the 4 days we were there. The breaker box was turned off, which tell us there was a problem before we go there. The main reason we rented this property was for the spa. We believe the situation was not handle properly.

The lay out in this house is perfect for a big family or lots of kids (the bonus room can sleep so many). We enjoy the sunroom as an ‘office’ or reading room near but separate from the family room. Bike ride to the beach is great and easy but a walk w/ kids or older folks is a bit much. The pool is just a plunge pool but nice for cooling off, or use as a hot tub. We’ve enjoyed this houser for several years and would love to come back.

You won't regret booking here! The house was wonderful! Everything we could have possibly needed was at the house. My kids loved the bunk room and the pool/hot tub. The location of the house is perfect too if you are looking for a nice and quiet spot. The property manager was very helpful (lost remote, closest beach parking location, etc.) and all questions were answered quickly. My family and I loved everything about the house!

13 Angler Hall was a great fit for us. Plenty of space and a nice updated kitchen that we used a couple nights. Location was great just past the Vandorhorst Gate so we were just minutes to any course. We had four guys in the trip and I drew the short straw so ended up with the upstairs room with the bunk beds. I am 6-foot tall and though I might have preferred one of the other bedroom I had no problems at all in this space. If you happen to have kids it's a perfect space with lots of room. If I had to nitpick anything, the pool was pretty much useless. A hot tub would have been great in its place for my achey back!

The property is in a great location right off the 9th tee box of Turtle. The well equipped kitchen made for dinner at the house very simple. We had several boxes delivered to the house prior to our arrival and the boxes were placed inside and on the porch so we were able to access those upon arrival. The property has a great layout where people can gather in the central rooms and then for sleeping arrangements have plenty of down time without being on top of each other. The plunge pool is a huge addition to the location as it made for perfect end after hot days on the course.

Overall the property setup was great. The cleaning crew did a fair job, the sheets in an upstairs bathroom had what looked like blood stains. I don’t think those sheets were changed before we got there. Also the rug in the living room had not been swept. The bug situation was crazy, living bugs, dead bugs all throughout the house.

This home is really lovely. The furnishings are very nice but yet comfortable for a family. The new plunge pool is beautiful on the far end of the deck. We really felt like we were at a friends home, not just a beach rental. The added amenities like soap by the sinks and tissue boxes around the house were pleasant surprises from previous rental homes. We will be back!

That said, there are a number of issues with the house that really should be addressed. Please note, we really did enjoy our time and may consider renting this house again if the items mentioned below are addressed.
The exterior door lock off the master bedroom sitting room is not functional. We were unable to lock it during the stay.
The exterior door off the living room is on its last leg. It took great effort to lock it.
The upstairs bedroom shower above the master did not get hot. Given the others got hot, it appeared to be the faucet regulator. They are adjustable if you take the face plate off.
That same bedroom mattress is well past it’s prime and any movement crinkled like there was a plastic cover on it.
Half the lights in the “kids” room were burnt out.
Also in the kids room, black muck was clearly coming from the HVAC vents and was on the beds and floor. It appears that it just does not get cleaned.
Also in the kids room, we discovered two large, empty liquor bottles under one of the beds. Unfortunate that there were likely kids drinking and unfortunate that the cleaning service didn’t take the effort to look.
The batteries is the master tv remote, as well as those in the Xbox remotes were dead. We replaced them.
The refrigerator ice machine is broken. It was turned off when we arrived. We turned it on but it never worked.
I truly hope the owners see these reviews. Nearly everything mentioned above was obvious to us in the first few hours in the house and suggests that whomever is managing/maintaining the house is not taking their time to ready the house for renters.
None of these individual issues took away from our enjoyment but together they were pretty annoying.

We had a great trip to Kiawah and so enjoyed this home. It is well appointed with special touches! The owners had a Xmas tree and stockings up for our arrival on 12/26. We loved the location- sitting on 9th hole; we were able to watch golfers tee off! I highly recommend this home- was everything seen in the pictures and more!

My family and I have rented many houses on Kiawah Island over the last 15 years, and this house was far and above the best house we have ever rented. It is perfectly located right passed the second gate, and with beautiful views of turtle point golf course. But what makes this house so special is what you find on the inside - a beautiful home cared for so well by its lovely owners, who have provided everything in the home you could ever possibly need. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you need in a kitchen - even a crockpot! The bunk room was the perfect place for my three kids. Everything was so clean and well cared
for, including a beautiful family room, plus ample space through out the house for “working remotely”. I really don’t know if words will suffice just how perfect this home is, and I can’t recommend it more highly. We will definitely be back to 13 Anglers Hall! We are already looking forward to it!

We found a wonderful home to stay during our first trip to Kiawah Island. The house is completely updated with a beautifully appointed 1st floor master suite and two 2nd floors queen suites. The FROG (furnished room over garage) was a huge hit with our girls – you can easily sleep 6 kids in the room with fun activities (foosball, xbox, etc.) in the event of a rainy day or some down time. It felt like a clubhouse and it took our girls no time at all to fall in love with the space. We stayed as a family of four, but this home would also be ideal for a very large family or multiple families...so much space.
The home just feels right, the kitchen/family room/dining room/sun room are all tastefully designed and updated. It felt like we were staying with friends! The kitchen is fully stocked with every possible items to prepare or enjoy meals with an abundance of seating between the kitchen island, bar seating and dining room. The patio is situated right of the kitchen and living room allowing for easy indoor/outdoor living space. It has a new grill and outdoor furniture....very relaxing as you watch golfers tee off while enjoying the shade of palm trees and the breeze.
The home sets up perfectly for children of all ages – it is well equipped with stepstools in the bathrooms, a highchair, booster seat, pack and play/changing table, plenty of kids cups and dishes, toys, books, games, puzzles, and beach towels. They really thought of everything! The beach is an easy 5 - 10 minute bike ride (depending on your pace and whether you stop at the lagoon lookout to take in all the wildlife).
The house was warm, inviting, very clean and the management was extremely responsive leading up to and during our trip. Our family had an amazing trip and the house was such a great landing spot. We felt so fortunate to have such an amazing place to stay and look forward to returning to our home away from home in Kiawah sooner rather than late
