About this house rental
Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This newly constructed Kiawah Island vacation rental features four bedrooms, a private pool, and gorgeous views of Osprey Point Golf Course. The home is about a 10-minute bike ride to the beach.
When you enter the home, you will immediately notice the abundance of natural light and coffered ceilings in the main living area. The living area offers plenty of stylish yet comfortable seating, a wall-mounted TV (with Apple TV), and access to the pool deck. Enjoy preparing your vacation meals in the new kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, a large island with barstool seating, and a butler’s pantry area with a second sink. The open dining area offers seating for six and looks out to the pool deck.
The first master suite, located downstairs, is a peaceful retreat and features a king-sized bed, TV, and access to the pool deck. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower and a double sink vanity. Upstairs, you will find the remaining three bedrooms. The second master suite has a king-sized bed, TV, balcony, and spacious private bathroom with a walk-in shower, soaking tub, and double sink vanity. The second bedroom also has a king-sized bed, TV, and balcony, and has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third upstairs bedroom has a full bed, twin bed, and twin trundle. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
The generous back deck overlooks the 4th fairway of Osprey Point Golf Course and features the gorgeous pool, which can be heated, and an abundance of comfortable seating. Guests have the option to enjoy the sunshine on the uncovered portion of the pool deck or relax under the covered area.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. A ping pong table (located in basement garage area) is available for guest use.
Please note that this property has an exterior security camera that views the home's front entrance. This camera serves to protect both the property owner and rental guests.
During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.
Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!
This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.
RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

The property was in great shape. We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped with items that I did not expect. They provided shampoo and bath soaps and laundry, and dish soaps. There was a good stock of trash bags and paper products too. We used the pool a lot and the depth of the pool did not exceed 6 foot which was great for younger kids. The appliances were a little tricky to use but once we figured them out, they were fine. A couple of suggestions: pillow cases in the house for extra pillows, luggage racks, dressers in the rooms and more towels would be nice. The kitchen could use a couple more serving dishes too. There really are no complaints about this property. It was very accommodating for our group of 10.

Great place for family

Lots of thought went into this place to make it comfortable for guests. The kids enjoyed the games they found in the cupboard. We had brought our own spices and oil along for cooking, but also found some of that in the kitchen for use. We opted to pay extra for the pool heat as we anticipated the water would be cold. It was one of the main reasons we chose this location because we liked that there was a pool, it was heated and it was close to house. When we checked in that day, the pool water was very cold. After speaking to the property manager we learned the heat did not get turned on. Once it was, it took only a few hours before the water was heated. Kids really enjoyed the pool. We also liked that the pool was close by so we could watch the kids while we prepared our meals. Great walking paths to all around the island. I recommend renting bikes if you’re planning on spending more time on the island. This is something we would have done if we had a different itinerary that week. Some things that we experienced that I do not think would impact anyone else’s trip Regarding the communications with Property manager. Although communication had a quick turnaround it wasn’t always thoughtful or considerate. We didn’t have the pool heated from Saturday through Monday afternoon even though we had already paid a daily fee for it. Once the technician came out on Monday to fix the pool, it was heat with in a couple hours. I wish the mgmt team would have been a bit more proactive when we first alerted them of the pool water being cold. When I followed up with team after the fix to confirm we were good to go, They just said great to hear it’s working. They took no action for the inconvenience or any action in providing a refund for the days the heat was off. I had to spend time again and ask for a refund. We were swiftly granted 2 day refund. As I said the house itself was very proactive and considerate in thinking about the guests needs. It would have been nice if this consideration was extended through the full experience.

The house is beautiful, but a couple of glitches due to what we believe is new construction. The thermostats seem to be reversed - first floor controls upstairs, upstairs controls first floor. Really weird and caused us to either be freezing or sweltering until we figured it out. Mirrors in upstairs large bathroom do not work, resulting in very little light in the bathroom making it hard to put on makeup, etc.
Other than those little bugs, the property was lovely and in an amazing location.

This was an amazing, brand-new house at Kiawah and absolutely breathtaking! The pool and deck area were lovely, the upstairs master bathroom was gorgeous, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed (except for a hot water kettle). It was a 12-minute, leisurely bike ride to the beach along the bike paths as well as public parking near beach access 40. The only possible negatives were the distance from the beach (although we liked the biking and didn't mind) and the driveway which required cars to back out onto the main road which could be busy at times. We would absolutely stay here again, though, as it was so comfortable and luxurious! Akers Ellis again provided a spotless property which made our stay so enjoyable.
