About this cabin rental

**This home is professionally cleaned with products approved by the EPA for use against COVID-19, including all touch points, switches, knobs, handles, surfaces. **

Our modern three bedroom home has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, chefs kitchen, gas fireplace, two large decks and a private hot tub with a view out to nature. Kitchen is fully appointed with all appliances for a comfortable stay. Flexible bookings for a long weekend, or an extended stay if you need a longer change of scenery.

Downstairs den provides a dedicated desk space with adjustable desk. Den also has a large SMART TV, books and games to share.

The large master bedroom with king bed is on the main floor with the kitchen and great room, opens up onto a quiet back deck and peaceful open space. Laundry and powder rooms complete the main floor. Downstairs has two bedrooms, one queen and one with a bunk bed with a trundle, plus a twin bed - sleeps four. The sofa bed in the bonus room can accommodate two additional. Full bathroom with tub/shower completes the downstairs. Enjoy the hot tub as a relaxing end to any adventurous day.

The garage will fit one vehicle with plenty of parking, easily accommodating 2 additional cars on a flat driveway.

We are minutes from Donner Lake and all the Tahoe Donner amenities that include dining, tennis, golf, fitness center, swimming pools, ski area, snow play area, kayak and paddleboard rentals. Hiking and mountain bike trails galore. Rafting and tubing is minutes away on the beautiful Truckee river. Historic downtown Truckee is only 10 minutes away with quaint shops, restaurants, and bars.

Came in the summer for a family vacation. Location is great on a not so busy street. The house was very clean and was consistent with what was showed on the listing. We had a few minor issues that were quickly resolved. Communication was great and quick. Overall we enjoyed our stay and are looking to book it again for next year. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

We enjoyed the layout of the house, the deck, and the hot tub. Cover on the hot tub is a bit difficult to put back on (if you don't have to take the whole thing off probably better!) but overall we really enjoyed our time there. And being dog friendly was a great added bonus!

Our family of four + grandparents stayed comfortably in this house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The desk setup was super useful for remote working. Everything was clean and in great condition. Convenient Tahoe Donner location. Would definitely book again!

Our family stayed at this very comfortable and clean house for an extended weekend. I was a bit concerned that we would encounter dog hair or allergies since this rental accepts pets and we don’t have pets. However, the house was very clean and we did not run into any problems. The beds were all very comfortable which is also a huge deal due to chronic back pain. Overall, this was a very enjoyable experience for our family of 4 with two teenagers. I would recommend anyone considering staying at this lovely home to book it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were grateful that we could bring our dog as well. Cabin is lovely, quiet and located in beautiful Tahoe Donner. We enjoyed walks, hiking and skiing. Hoping to return soon!!!

This is our second stay at this wonderful cabin. We had another memorable trip. The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed playing cards, watching movies and cooking with the well-stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we stayed at this house. Great house with a open layout ideal for families. I like that the hot tub is under a covered porch and it is just a few steps outside. Communication from house manager is super responsive. The house has some flying bugs that I think that were termites. Owner offered to have someone come out but didn't want to be sprayed while we were staying there. Some other minor things that need to be fixed but overall I would recommend house.

This property was well stocked and comfortable. Check in and out was effortless and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were blessed with outstanding fall weather but it was still nice to be able to park in the garage. It was a little light on the window coverings as it would have been nice to have those in some of the more sensitive areas of the house (luckily the neighbors were not home). Nevertheless, we would consider renting this house again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very roomy with lots of natural light, a well appointed kitchen and appliances in good working order. Nice furniture on the decks to sit at for morning coffee and watch the stars at night. Will definitely plan to come back!

My family stayed at this property for the second time in a year. Unfortunately, this time we encountered some issues. Primarily, the house was not clean which necessitated taking time to clean it ourselves. Also, the kitchen pots and pans were in very poor shape which made it difficult to cook meals at home. We felt that we took good care of the home, but we had an unpleasant exchange with the owner after we left accusing us of creating damage for which we were not responsible. The house is in a great location, has a good floor plan, and we had a nice stay, but these other issues were a problem.

Overall property was just as described. It is a beautiful home and has everything you need. We enjoyed use of the hot tub, and loved the location. We love to cook and the pans are very worn. We knew pets were allowed (we didnt bring a pet) but we had dog hair everywhere- floors, rug, sofa, and even our comforter on our bed downstairs.

We stayed at this property in June of 2023. We are a family of 6 and all found this comfortable, well appointed, clean and enjoyable. Only 3 bedrooms but there are 5 beds plus a fold out couch that houses a built-in air mattress topper. Every kid had a bed and one that wanted to not share a room took the fold out couch, which she found comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub every day. It's easy to access from the lower bedrooms and works well. My son used the den to work which was fantastic. The kitchen was the best I've used. It was very well appointed with many great amenities, including 3 different coffee makers, a slow cooker, a griddle pan, blender, pots, pans, and all the utensils. I'm sure there were things we didn't use that you will appreciate. Lots of great meals were prepared. Thanks to Paul for great responsiveness and a fantastic cabin. We will be back.

Loved the property we stayed in. It had all the conveniences we needed with a fireplace for the cool days. The location was beautiful in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown with easy access to the highways and local attractions. We definitely stay again.

Everything was great! One of the nicest homes and most pleasant experiences using vrbo. The home is gorgeous, clean and has many lovely amenities. Location is great and easy to get to. Perfect neighborhood with lots of close dining and activity options. Paul was amazing. Totally responsive and helpful throughout. 100% would go back to this home if we find ourselves in Donner again. Love this spot, we've come three winters in a row with the entire family. Great proximity to skiing, backyard is perfect for sledding, and the house is perfect for hanging out with a large group. We will be back next season for sure!

We stayed there with 6 people (3 kids) and the place was clean and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils and dishes. I especially liked that the hot tub is under a balcony and close to the bedroom door so you could easily get outside without being exposed to the cold for too long. Owner was very responsive via vrbo app. Overall an excellent stay

This house is consistent with the listing. Furniture, beds, bedding, and appliances are all current and the place is very clean. The kitchen in particular has modern appliances and is fully-stocked with cookware. The beds are comfortable. One thing our family appreciated most about this house that others with young children may like to know is that the bedroom doors can be opened and closed very quietly. This is great when traveling with a toddler and infant. We would definitely stay here again.

This home is beautiful, with all the amenities, including luxury bedding, appliances, and decor. It is in a nice neighborhood with a very private and open backyard space, with great sledding hills right in the backyard. The layout is perfect with the master upstairs and other bedrooms downstairs. The view from the hot tub is amazing. The home is both open with lots of windows but has a cozy feel to it also. The owner was very responsive. We loved this home and look forward to staying here again in the future.
