Beautiful location on the beach. 15min walk from stuff. We hired a moped and it was an amazing location to see the island
Met some friends who were looking after the place while they were away who helped as much as they could but when they left we were unsure who was running the hotel and who was a guest so couldn't ask for help with anything

Wir waren hier insgesamt 11 Nächte und in 3 verschiedenen Bungalows, da wir immer verlängert haben. Wir haben es geliebt. Beinahe direkt am Strand aufwachen und danach eine Runde im Pool schwimmen. Die Besitzerin Preaw ist sehr lieb und hilfsbereit; und sie kehrt jeden Tag mehrfach die Anlage, so sind Strand und Wohnbereich immer total idyllisch.
Ein Moskitonetz (vor allem in den Bungalows 7+8) wäre noch eine Verbesserung.

L emplacement est fabuleux, tous les bungalows sont à proximité de la mer. Il n y a que très peu de bungalows, donc c est tres calme. Piscine à disposition en permanence.
La chambre était petite , pas de drap, seulement une petite couverture. Peu de rangement
Le bungalow aurait mérité un bon rafraichissement.
Il n est pas prévu de faire les chambres ou de fournir une bouteille d eau chaque jour, seulement à l entrée. C est la première fois que nous rencontrons ce cas en thailande. Globalement l hotel convient en court séjour, si le prix est intéressant.

This property is located on the beach beautiful views of the sea.
There was only one woman in charge of the whole property and she worked hard she was very nice but looked overwhelmed for running the whole property herself she was very helpful very friendly and took good care of us
This property had no restaurant or bar on sight but we rented motorbikes to get around which made it easy to get around to food and entertainment
No fridge in the bungalow also the bungalow we stayed in was in need of updating

Bungalow très vétuste, draps et serviettes usés et troués, beaucoup de gens de l’extérieur qui se baladent sur la plage se permettent de rentrer visiter ce qui n’est pas du tout rassurant quand on laisse le bungalow ouvert pendant qu’on est à la piscine

Le partenariat avec un très chouette loueur de scooter.
Le bar était fermé et nous ne savions pas en arrivant qu’on pouvait aller prendre un verre avec les enfants à l’infinity (200m à pied par la plage). Mon mari est parti à pied pour rejoindre le centre pour chercher de l’eau à 2km car on venait de voyager pendant plus de 24h avec 3 enfants assez jeunes. Heureusement nos voisins de bungalow sont partis a sa rencontre et l’ont emmené. On a loué des scooters le lendemain.

It's really close to the beach but most of the time you can't swim because of low tide. The pool is really nice! It's a nice spot to spent some nights. The stuff was really lovely and helpful.

We had such a great stay, really good value for money. We loved the pool, and the beach right out the front. was very chill and quiet which we loved! definitely recommend getting a scooter to get around as it’s not close to restaurants and bars. They organised a taxi for us an hour before we left which was great!

John, his wifes and his employees are extremly friendly and welcoming. When we arrived John gave us a little tour around the area with his scooter. Showed us where we can find good food, where to rent our own scooter, how the streets on Koh Phangan are going.
The noodle soup we ate at Munchies was the best we had on the whole island.Breakfast wasvery good too.
You can watch the sunset from the pool or from ome of the nice spots to sit at location. The location itself is very pretty with lots of plants and flowers.The bugalows are nice too and each of them has a nice terrace with view on the pool and ocean.
We stayed at the beginning and at the and of our vacation at Munchies and had an awsome time there. We will definitely come back!

The little bungalows are right on the beach and have a nice pool to use as well. Great spot to watch sunset & a relaxing place to stay, the host was wonderful as well. I was able to check in early no problem and he gave great recommendations on where to eat and what to do. He gave me a ride up to the main road when I wanted to go there too which was very nice! Free cold water whenever you need it and they will make you coffee or a latte in the mornings as well :)

Amazing hosts, thank you for your kindness ❤️ It is a dreamy place where you can just disconnect from reality. So chill, a true paradise! This also attracts like-minded travelers who are respectful and contribute to the wonderful atmosphere. The bungalow was basic, but what else do you really need? Don’t look for a fancy holiday here, but what you will really find is a peace of mind and tranquility. The beach is perfect for long walks and sunset watching. Also, the food was delicious :) The location was great, lots of great restaurants around, 7-11, familymart, hospital, night market, taxi station… Would maybe recommend getting a scooter if you can, it will make getting around easier. If you don’t: the bungalows are 10 min away by foot from the main road where you can always grab a taxi.
There could have been a soap bar in the bathroom, and the mattress could have been better (not an issue for me that it’s hard, but I could feel the metal springs inside and that wasn’t ideal for sleeping). A bit dark in the bungalow also. However, those are little things in the context of the overall value you get :)

We really liked the location next to the sea, as well as the pool, which we used ever day. It is a bit closed of (which is good for privacy and quietness), so if you don't want to drive a scooter, maybe this is not for you. John, the owner, is super kind and helpful, he gave us some awesome tips to discover the island.
The bungalow is kinda dark and the bed a bit hard and not so comfortable. Everything could use a bit of a touch up, modernization.

Munchies bungalows is highly recommended. The staff will welcome you on like a family . No questions were unanswered they are very knowledgable of the whole island . When having a chill day you can step off your bungalow to the pool and beach . The bar is open from late to early . Lots of variety of food with Thai traditional and more Weston style foods . The Melon shakes were amazing . Quite area to relax and when partying it’s a walk / taxi away so convenient. They are happy to call taxis for you .

A really nice place with a swimming pool and a bar on the beach. Friendly and helpful owners and chillout vibes - I really liked it here. Hammocks hanging everywhere are a nice plus! The bungalow was basic but had everything we needed. Good wi-fi connection.

John and his girlfriend were amazing and so lovely. It felt like staying at your friends house since they were so friendly. We loved the breakfast John made us as well. So lovely location, right at the beach with a lovely pool and bar! Very calm.

Muchies is situated right on the beach, far away from.the noisy road. The swimmingpool is beautiful, and there is a shady terrace on the beach under a big tree. The owner is super friendly and helpfull.

Simple but beautiful bungalows directly on the beach. Just amazing to wake up every morning in this paradise. Lovely vibe especially with the owners who are super friendly and make the place even better. We also spent Christmas here and they organized the best dinner!

bungalows for some people might be little basic but for me it was more then perfect, it definitely got all you need!
Fan, Hammock, hot water.. enough place to put your things and a lot of hooks to hang your things, even a small is safe is here:) it was also very clean and super cozy!
the area around is very quiet so i guess best is if you have a scooter to get around the island- John the owner is super lovely and helped me a lot, thanks again! would stay here definitely again:)

AMAZING LOCATION. You are literally right on the beach here, it feels like heaven to wake up to and also watch sunset here in the evening. The hosts John and Alisa make you feel at home, both are so funny and easy to talk to, felt like friends immediately, they are passionate about what they do and want to help you in any way they can. The pool is lit up beautifully at night if you like a swim under the stars! There is great wine for a decent price here and the food is soo delicious too. They also organise scooter rentals here for you too.

They are barely shacks in a very bad shape. With holes in the deck floor of size of a foot. Ceilings falling apart. Your key is a pad lock on a rusty latch. You have to crouch to enter to avoid your head being bumped. Floors are cover with wall paper. Awful place that is not worth even a 10 % of what they asking for. Owner means well but doesn't even begin to make up for all the floss. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst of enemies. Beds are hard as a rock y you don't get top sheets. There's no maid service so you'll have to manage 3 days with the same towels. There's no breakfast included. Not even the beach is a nice beach for Kho Phangan. I could keep going on and on but I think you get the idea.
