Surroundings were beautiful. Hot tub spotless. Gary and Shanna two really nice people. Wish them well for the future and look forward to returning and trying out the new fishing ponds.

Comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings. We stayed in Kingfisher for a couple of nights and found the whole experience restful and refreshing. We only had one occasion to speak with staff and found our query dealt with very quickly and in a most friendly manner. Location is convenient for countryside and coast. Thoroughly recommend Watermeadows.

On arrival the lodge was very welcoming. It was a nice gesture to have a packet of biscuits and milk in the fridge. It was a great location overlooking the lake and was nice and peaceful.

We took our 5year old daughter and 9 month old puppy for a holiday not far from home. Excellent facilities, cooked every night. Excellent base. Loved it.

We have been to this accommodation before and so returned as we enjoyed it so much the first time. Everything was very clean and very presentable. We enjoy the location as it’s easy to find and also in a lovely quiet place which makes the whole setting very peaceful and relaxing. And the design of the lodge is superb. The owners of the accommodation were very kind and friendly and this would definitely persuade us to stay again. Maybe even make this a regular getaway!

We had a 3 night stay in Kingfisher Lodge with my mum and dad who are both over 60 and my 9 month old Golden Retriever. We all had an amazing time just relaxing and catching up and making memories. Dad even got a bit of fishing in! The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable. The hot tub was fabulous. The grounds are beautiful. Its a small venue, which works really well as it feels very private and intimate and you are not bombarded with people.

A week with husband and dog in a 2-bed log cabin, lakeside. Horses and lots of cheeky ducks infuriating the dog.

We visit Somerset several times a year to visit relatives. Accommodation & location were both very good. On-site fishing was a bonus.
