Our 3-day stay was exceptional. The cabin was comfortable and rustic but with everything you could possibly want or need. The host was very responsive and answered all questions quickly and accurately. The pictures of the cabin and grounds are accurate. Would definitely stay there again. It’s a wonderful experience.

This cabin is a gem. Quiet area with plenty of open space but close to Asheville activities. Cabin is well furnished and lots of fun in game room. Owner is very responsive to messages.
Will definitely come back.

This is a wonderful property that is close to Asheville (convenience) yet has the privacy (mostly) of being in the country. The roads do have a lot of traffic, though.
The house has everything you’ll need. Great layout and very spacious for a couple (almost too much room!) or a family.
The game room was a nice surprise but we spent the majority of our time on the front porch after a day of hiking.

We had a wonderful time on a trip to Asheville. The house was so warm and comfortable, it was hard to leave. We really enjoyed the front porch and game room. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Asheville.

The property was beautiful, a large well groomed hilly lot with a small stream, water wheel, fire pit and well lit at night, great ambiance. Overall a very nice accommodation for 6 adults, 2 small dogs. There were 2 full baths, a half bath would have been nice but not mandatory and a roomy front porch with rocking chairs. This house was a log cabin style which we really liked. There was a large downstairs game room which would be great for kids as well as adults. The house was well stocked and overall we had a wonderful time. Two recommendations to take it from great to fantastic would be toppers on the queen beds for more comfort and better lighting downstairs in the living/great room. Due to all of the interior wood and mature trees around the house, it was quite dark even in the daytime. Two or three standup lamps in that room with 3 way bulbs would really help. Otherwise highly recommend this property, it is only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville which made it so convenient for the wedding events we attended.

Leicester Retreat
This property was perfect for our family of four and our pup Sadie. Great location close to everything Asheville had to offer. The cabin was spacious, the downstairs game room was utilized often as was the very large front porch. The cabin came with everything you could possibly want and worked out perfectly as our base to explore the region. Communication was quick and easy, check-in and out was smooth. Our only negative was the neighbors dogs barking late at night but that was a minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit the area.

Asheville Vibes
New York and Florida family met in the middle at this great cabin! Sweet treats were left for us including a milk bone for the pup! Evenings spent in the great game room and taking the magical fairy lit path to the fire pit. Great main level space to cook, dine, and enjoy the fire and a movie. Wonderful memories made.

Great place for families and dogs!
We had an amazing stay! Where do I start. First, the cabin was perfect for our needs and very cozy. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and our lab - big comfy chairs and couches in the living room with plenty of throw blankets, the King bed in the master was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great, and there were fans in the living room and master bedroom which I appreciated because I love fans. Second, there was lots to do for the kids (a teenager and two toddlers). The game room was a huge hit for all of us (ping pong, shuffle board and a pool table with two couches, a fireplace and a tv), there was also corn hole and horse shoe for outside, tons of board games, streaming options on the tv (Disney, Netflix, etc), and more. And I personally appreciated the little things they provided for a family with kids and pets: stepping stool for the bathroom so the kids could reach the sink, toddler plates, nightlights and child proof door locks on the kids bedrooms, All Free laundry detergent, dog bowls, a doggie bed, poop bags for the dog, etc. The less a mom has to pack in the car, the better! And there was a mud room so we could keep our muddy hiking stuff in there without tracking dirt in the cabin. The outside area with the fire pit and water feature was beautiful and serene, and the front porch was a great place to sit and enjoy the crisp mountain air. The location was very convenient to Asheville (15 minutes). It is very private and a quiet, rural area in general, but you can hear cars go by at times and the neighbors occasionally. We had a great time and definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Very comfortable rustic log cabin and as described in the listing. The house was very well stocked with everything we could possibly have needed. We were two couples each with a dog. The porch and surrounding grounds were enjoyable for us and for them. Very dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

The property had a lot of charm. There are all sorts of activities that you can do with your family on location as well as you can get anywhere in town in under 20 minutes.

Spent 5 days at this cabin and it was everything we needed and more. Close to downtown, fire pit, enough space for 6 people and an infant, game room, corn hole boards, pet friendly, and much more. We loved our welcoming gifts- very nice of the hosts to leave a note and treats! The property was well groomed, even after a pretty tropical storm/hurricane came through the week prior. Everything was amazing and have we have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you for the great stay!!

Great place for family vacation.
We had such a great a stay. We unexpectedly walked in to an arrival gift. Everything about the home was incredible from the yard, fire pit, game room to the bedrooms. Everything you need is at the house. Great for a family get away. Close proximity to downtown Asheville (less than 15) but far enough out of town to feel like you are in the mountains. Would love to visit again! Highly recommended. Carly was great and very responsive!

We stayed here for a week wanting to combine couple days of remote work with local hiking and other attractions. The internet was great and worked even in the outside seating area far from the house. The location was very convenient to Asheville and surrounding attractions but also allowed for privacy and the feel of being away. We loved the game room downstairs but only got to use it couple of times as we were away a lot exploring. If there in July go for u pick blueberries John's Berry Patch 18 Olympic Dr. Leicester. Kids had a lot of fun and the blueberries were delish.

Loved the cabin, very clean, nice to use garage being a car guy. 2 acres, beautiful and manicured by the neighbor Wayne. He's a nice guy, hung out with us one night roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Just an all around perfect vacation cabin, great communication with owner too. Close to downtown Asheville and Bilrmore. Appreciated the welcome package owner left us!

Amazing Cabin
We had an amazing stay at this cabin. It had absolutely everything you could need. It was nice and clean and even more impressive in person. There was plenty of space and privacy outside. It was especially nice to have children’s toys available for my kids and the gaming center in the finished basement. We plan on staying here again in the future.
