We had a mixed holiday experience at the apartment. It is well located near to Royal William Yard and not far from the centre of town and the ferry to Cremlyn. The apartment superficially looks stunning which is why we chose to spend 9 days there. It has been well converted and is in lovely grounds and had a beautiful high, light and airy ceiling in the living room /kitchen open plan area. However it was quite apparent the owner had never spent any time there to see what it feels like as a guest. There was no handsoap anywhere in the apartment in the middle of a pandemic. There was no welcome bottle of wine or cake or biscuits which is the norm elsewhere. It looks like it has a beautiful cream leather electric reclining chair to relax in until you realise the plug is missing. It was advertised as having a TV and Netflix but the Freesat cable to the TV was broken and you could only access Netflix if you paid for your own account at home. The cleaning was very haphazard. The first thing we saw on entering the apartment was what we thought was a nose-ring lying on the floor but it could have dropped out of any orifice for all we know. There were used crisp packets under the bed and confetti in the bed!? There were no oven gloves so we ran the risk of burning ourselves every time we cooked. It just had the feel that the owner had done the bare minimum rather than thinking about guest care. Worse than that was our experience halfway into the holiday when we were woken up by bailiffs banging at the door at 8.30am! No joke. Apparently the owner had repeatedly not paid their Electricty bill and this was the third attempt to deliver County Court summons. We were worried that the electricity was about to be cut off and spent the morning having to Google whether our own possessions would be taken. Apparently they will leave the cooker and guide dog behind! We contacted the letting agent straight away but they took 8 hours to reply which left us stressed for the day and we felt was poor customer service. Their email response at 4.30pm was basically a "not our problem mate" email. We then escalated this to a full complaint for compensation for that one day of our holiday that was spoiled and to their credit they did give us some financial compensation. But as you can imagine it was not the kind of relaxing holiday experience that we'd hoped for. We will not be back.

Came for a hen weekend, communication from day one was excellent, property was a little further out than I realised (not properties fault) but trying to get a taxi on weekend was not great so just to beware no prebooking. Stay was perfect nd we had a lovely time thankyou Shannon and Micheal
