Excellent apartment - would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location! Within touching distance of local restaurants/street food stands, parque de las palapas, mercado 28, av Tulum, major transport links (on av Tulum), 1min walk to nearby supermarket (Oxxo). Had all the amenities, apartment was clean (no bugs, ants or anything), had a safe mounted to a wall, facilities felt safe and secure. Beautiful sunny terrace, hardly anyone was up there whenever we went up there. Very good wifi (3x different wifi options), good air con. Very helpful staff - when we initially arrived in Cancun we didn’t have wifi and couldn’t look up the details how to check in - called the host on their phone who gave us all the instructions for checking in! We loved our stay so much we decided to stay in Cancun for another day and extend our stay.

We were on the ground floor, other reviews have mentioned that other guests using the front door was inconvenient and loud - we could kind of hear it occasionally but it wasn’t a big issue, the noise never interrupted our sleep, was maybe more prominent during the day but that’s perfectly fine. The lounge chairs in the terrace could do with a replacement of the soft coverings as they’re slightly dirty. But these are small nitpicks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

とても細やかな心遣いが感じられます。食用油、塩、胡椒、食器、鍋、フライパン、食器用洗剤あります。のみならず、余分なごみ袋や紙ナプキンも用意してくれてます。料理用の水も何十リットルも部屋にあります。家庭用の大きな冷蔵庫で、冷凍庫も十分な大きさがあるのでアイスクリームなど買って冷やすことも出来ます。キッチン付きの部屋に今までも各地で泊まってきましたが、ここまで細やかな心遣いのあるホテルは他にありませんでした。ハンガーも十分にあります。 Netflix観られます。バスにはシャンプーとボディソープもついてます。部屋の鍵の受け渡しも事前にオーナーからメッセージが届くので、煩わしいことは一切ありません。トイレットペーパーも宿泊に十分な量が用意されてますし、香り付きのトイレットペーパーなので宿泊中ゴミ箱に溜まったペーパーが臭いということもありません。周囲は住宅街で夜はとても静かでよく眠れます。ADOのバスターミナルまで歩いて10分もかかりません。30秒ほどの所にOXXOがあります。Googleで星4.4のLa Parrilla Cancunまで歩いて３、４分です。コバ通りまで３分くらいなのでR2のバスにすぐ乗れます。ホテルの居心地も良く、ロケーションも良く、最高でした。

シャワーは暖かいお湯が出ません。日本人だと夏でもお風呂や暖かいシャワーで汗を流したい人がいると思いますが、カンクンは熱い地域なので、私はすぐに気にならなくなりました。

Ubicación céntrica

La ubicación céntrica fue conveniente para nuestros desplazamientos (usamos Uber) los departamentos son pequeños. La zona es segura y tranquila. Estaba limpio.

Tuvimos dificultades para entrar con la clave de la puerta principal (afortunadamente la anfitriona revisó y se resolvió) las toallas estaban muy desgastadas una de ellas tenía agujeros me parece que hay que cuidar esos detalles.

the locks were easy to access. The host was very informative and detailed about the apartment. It was very nice.

the staircase is a bit narrow. You have to be careful when you are heading up towards the 2nd floor.

the rooms are cool, bright, the bed is large, there is a kitchen, the workers are kind, they try to help, they did not see the owner, but he answered quickly and solved questions

there were a couple of times problems with the sewer, toilet paper just do not throw, and the shower is interrupted by the water pressure

Good budget room

Safe and secure facility. It is a 10 minute walk to ADO bus station and there are two grocery stores within easy walking distance. The artisan market is also only a 5 minute walk and is fun to walk around, especially if you are looking for souvenirs and gifts. The kitchenette in the room was perfect to help cut costs as we found the restaurants in the area were quite expensive and the food on offer was not very nice. We prepared most of our evening meals here.

No fresh towels unless you're prepared to pay. We don't need a clean towel every day or even every second day but we were here for a week so it would've been good customer service to have given us fresh towels in that time period. The cleaning lady was pleasant but was even reluctant to give us a clean dish towel!! Hot water was only periodically available, especially in the evenings.

Absolutely not recommended

The check-in process is really fast and well explained

I write this review at 1 a.m. while the incessant noise of the air-conditioning fan in the room upstairs does not allow us to sleep a wink. It is located just outside the French window of the bedroom. It is absolutely impossible to rest. The flat walls are damp, the air was unbreathable upon entering and the photos on booking are definitely misleading.

Great stay for one night or a few days.

Beautiful place, very quiet and great host.

It's not in a very nice area and there's not much around. However, a quick taxi drive will bring you to the center or to the airport.

the first night we come, our room was not clean so we had to call the proprietary and change room, then the day after we had to move again. Is so different respect the picture, and there is no circle of the air, so after 2 days started to smell so bad.also the rooftop was not accessible after 6pm

Comfortable

Location is perfect. 10 mins walking distance from av tulum (downtown cancun). Everything on walking distance. ADO bus stop 10 mins walking distance. Security camera in place. Double gate and lock system. felt very safe.

Rooms and bathroom were tiny. would be perfect for 2 people but because we were a group of 4, felt a bit crowded in there.

No hot water and no response from owner

Close to downtown. TV had Netflix. Big fridge

We had no hot water during our stay, we messaged the owners and they only replied asking if we were turning the tap the right way and didn’t offer to have it fixed. We wrote back saying we did turn it the right way and it was definitely the hot water that wasn’t working and never got a response from owner. We messaged again the next day when we still had no hot water - and again never got a response back from owner!! Very unprofessional from owners to not even reply, or give an apology at the least! The apartment is very dated. The bed is so old both sides of the mattress sunk down so we were almost falling off the sides of the bed. My husband was so uncomfortable on the bed that he had to sleep on the single bed instead.
