It had everything you needed. Very comfortable
Close to any store or restaurant you could think of but you were in a wooded private area. Had a great back yard fenced in for the dogs or kids. All sorts of games and movies to watch. Great internet service. Outdoor fire pits and a deck with a sitting area. Would definitely recommend

My husband, myself and our dog stayed at the Glynn Inn for the months of July and August. It was by far the nicest VRBO rental we have had in CT. The house is perfect and the yard/outdoor spaces are amazing!
The house itself is actually larger than it looks in the photos. The movie theatre room is the perfect spot to hang out. The sounds of the brook and the outdoor spaces are what really made our stay. We will definitely be going back to the Glynn Inn!
Thank you to Emily and JD for letting us rent your wonderful home!

We had the most relaxing time at Glenn Inn. To be able to open the windows and listen to the brook and wildlife every day was so very pleasant. It was so spacious. The property was well maintained.
The hosts were prompted in respnding when an issue came up. They even offered to put us up in a hotel when the air conditioner stopped working. This to me speaks volumes of how awesome they are.
We will be going back again.
Thank you

We came to CT to visit family and wanted some place in between to stay. This house was lovely, very clean, lots of amenities around the house. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed. We loved the movie room in the basement as well as the gorgeous property. Our dog was obsessed with the fenced in yard. My only tiny complaint was the bedroom was a bit warm at night even with the air conditioner on and a series of fans, because of the distance to the bedroom from the unit. But I am a picky sleeper and it probably wouldn't bother anyone else. The mattress was so good my husband asked for the name! We had family over and a few days to overself and generally had a good experience.

We had a wonderful stay with our 4 kids, ages 2-10. The location is great- close to many activities, shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Best of all, the backyard is an outdoor oasis. The way the owner built a path along the creek is absolutely amazing and there is even a deck by the creek to sit and enjoy the beautiful nature all around. There is lots of wildlife and my kids really enjoyed exploring by the creek. We are super grateful to Emily for hosting this wonderful property.

This property was lovely. The sound of the creek that runs next to the back yard is so relaxing.
It was a very clean property with a large deck barbecue area and a fire pit next to the creek.
Very nice glad we stayed there.

We had a beautiful two day stay with our dogs enjoying the fenced in yard and nearby creek, and my wife and I enjoying the incredible movie theater with hundreds of movies and all the streaming services at our disposal. This is one of the most unique VRBOs we’ve stayed at, there are so many cool features to keep you entertained, we can’t wait to come back!

Property was immaculate and as depicted in the listing. The homeowner was very responsive. The backyard stream/waterfall is stunning, and would be wonderful in the warmer months.

Nestles in the woods with a roaring brook as soothing background noise, this house has all the comforts of home. As a bonus, there is a state of the art home theater system with wide screen projector for watching your favorite movie or just hanging out on a rainy day. The beautiful private yard is fenced in for the four-legged family members to run free. The host was wonderful and responded quickly to any questions. We will definitely return.

Wonderful experience. The house is wonderfully appointed and the Theatre room is such a bonus. But the landscaping in the backyard raises the rating to over thee moon. Sitting in the backyard listening to the waterfall was soo relaxing. A good respite from the wedding activities we were engaged in over the long weekend.

We stayed for a few days with our english bulldog. We loved the theater room and the stream running through the backyard. Our dog had a great time running around the fenced in back yard and sunbathing on the porch. The house was cozy with great updates right near may restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful few days! Only regret is we didn't use the awesome outdoor grill and patio area!

Our four children chose The Glynn Inn over a few other VRBO options we gave them for an end-of-summer 4 night get away. They were sold on the waterfalls and movie theatre. We had a wonderful time.
There was a lot of rain before our trip so the waterfalls were rushing for our whole trip. The kids, armed with nets, caught minnows and frogs every morning. They loved the game room, table tennis in the yard, and settled down for a movie each night in the awesome theatre.
The house had everything we needed and more. The beds were super comfy and there was no shortage of extra blankets to get cozy in the living room or theatre.
We found a few places to eat in the area including Dish and Dat, The Little Oak Cafe, among others. We visited Eggs farm (lovely!!!), Roaring Brook Nature Center (very informative), and had a great time exploring Farmington Nature Trail.
We would absolutely recommend this home!

This property was even better than expected! The backyard is so beautiful and serene and the area itself is very quiet yet close to great food and shopping. The host was friendly and helpful. She let my family bring our dog which was so appreciated and the yard was perfect for him. Highly recommend!

The dogs loved the waterfalls and pools of water, as did we! The theater was really nice at the end of each day. Playing cards with family on the deck was peaceful, makes the house seem secluded.

The home was spacious, and a great property. The dogs enjoyed the yard, the adults enjoyed the theater room and the location was great for lots of sightseeing around the CT wine trail. Highly recommend a stay here!

The house was neat and fresh. Outside is amazing - waterfall, deck, patio by stream, fenced in yard! We were supposed to bring our dog and she would have LOVED it!
My only issue was the VRBO app would not let me get to my access details none of the links worked (they did nothing), I had to go to vrbo.com to get all the info - this, of course, no fault of Emily's and EVERY time I contacted her she responded immediately so I'm sure if I had trouble getting in she would have helped!

We stayed at the Glynn’s home to visit with family nearby. We had a wonderful time. The house and property were very comfortable and charming. The waterfall in the backyard was an added bonus. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had nearly everything needed. Suggestion - bring your own spices if you plan to cook. Also bring bar soap if thats what you prefer. The media room in basement is a great way to end the day, watching a movie on the big screen. Unfortunately the chairs are so comfy I hardly stayed awake throughout an entire movie. The house is 2 miles from Collinsville, a cute town with a pub and Canton has a nice upscale shopping area. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

It was a great location for our Daughters who we met for a visit outside of NYC, and local friends who live nearby! Clean, great for our two pups, great for cooking, and we slept like babies! Enjoyed the movie theater, wifi was more than sufficient for some of us who ended up working, the view is wonderful, and the area has everything we needed! My 86-year-old Father came with us last minute and he was very happy and comfortable as well. The driveway and walkways were cleared of snow from a storm and very much appreciated, Thank you! This is our first VRBO, I hope we left things as expected, and sorry we delayed or didn't respond to messages, we never downloaded the app. If available we would come back to visit our friends again and hopefully soon!

Our group from Louisiana was visiting family for the holiday and decided to rent a house rather than a hotel room. This house in a quiet neighborhood has wonderful scenery from the trees to the calming waterfalls. The description of the house was accurate. We all enjoyed the theater room watching movies to relax. I would definitely recommend this house. We enjoyed every minute and plan to rent it again when we visit.

Our family stayed at this cute little bungalow for a week during the peak fall season in New England. The property is gorgeous, and our family enjoyed exploring the area around the brook and waterfall! For a family of 4, this house was just about big enough and had most of the amenities we needed. The property owner is extremely helpful and prompt when we asked questions. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy spot to stay in the Farmington Valley area!

My family was in Connecticut for a wedding and traveled in from mostly the West Coast. After all the travel, it was wonderful to be greeted by such a beautiful property. It was well kept, cozy and is full of amenities.
The owners also were very accommodating and were great at communicating. Any question I asked, they had an answer or resolution very quickly. We felt well cared for.
Highlights of the property are the theater and the deck out back by the stream. However, there is also an amazing sound system, music/dvd collection and plenty of other outdoor spaces to lounge in.
Thank you again. We loved staying here.

Perfect location. House was clean, comfortable and welcoming
. We cooked most of our meals on the kitchen and enjoyed the movie theatre in the basement. 5 stars for sure. Thank you Emily .

This house was wonderful and exactly as pictured. Very clean. Very relaxing. Unfortunately, due to the drought, we were not able to enjoy the waterfall. The theater was exceptional. Location of the house is near shopping centers, antiquing and restaurants. Emily was prompt in getting back to me. It was a pleasure working with her and her husband. Looking forward to returning in the future and spending more time there.
