Two brothers and two sisters, along with their spouses, toured the area and Acadia National Park. Your home was a great space and location for our travels. Very spacious and had all the perfect accommodations for 8 or more individuals. Would definitely recommend this home.

From the easy entry to the clean, comfortable house greeting us to the beautiful view, we knew this was going to be a great week with family. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of adult children and grandchildren. We filled our days with close by hikes, kayaking and playing in the yard. Dinners were mostly at home cooked in a very well equipped kitchen. The fire pit was enjoyed by all in the evenings under starry skies and several nights of meteor showers. Several family members had to work from home and the internet and cell service was top notch. I can't say enough good things about this place and it truly was the perfect getaway for our family.

Exceptional... wonderfully family personalized home that a group of 10 felt very lucky to share. Reasonably priced for space (exception: the high cleaning fee). Absolutely stunning views.A Gem!. AAGem!s.GeAAaAAbeautifuhome

We travel with a family of 4 and a family of 5. This house is cozy yet large enough that everyone has their own space. The house was stocked with EVERYTHING you need! We were welcomed with a gift card to a seafood market and wood for the fire pit. The private beach was amazing. We now have a new love of sea glass. Debbie and Matt were amazing to deal with. A MUST RENTAL!

My whole family enjoyed the secluded location and our own property with all the size bedrooms showers and amenities to not need anything. We could have stayed at the house the entire week with plenty of space and things to do at the house. It was a wonderful home and location for our getaway vacation in Maine!

We had a phenomenal time. The property manager was communicative and efficient in assisting us with a couple of hiccups that occurred. The house and property were so well taken care of and well-appointed. Thank you so much!

Our little family (3 of us for that huge house) loved this huge house that was stocked with more than we needed, super comfortable beds and spacious rooms. We had games, movies, and the kitchen and bath fully stocked with coffee, seasonings, pasta ... (usually we have to bring everything). The property was perfect distance to Acadia and the Pickled Wrinkle is a must eat! Fire pit was evening ritual. House was fantastic, wish the beach was cleaner less lights on neighbor dock.

This place is incredible! My wife and I stayed here with another couple and all four of us loved this place! The location is fairly remote, but that is what we were looking for. It takes roughly 1 1/2 hours to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia Park by car, however the drive is easy. We spent every night(when not raining) at the waterfront fire pit . The view of the water with all the lobster boats moored in the bay is so serene. We even met the neighbor, who is a great guy! The house has everything you can possibly need. Every kitchen necessity is there and the pantry is fully stocked with anything you might need while making a meal. I 100% recommend this house!
AND make sure to stop by Ray's. He is a second generation butcher/sandwich place at the end of Dyer's Rd.

Very nice out of the way stay right on a working lobster bay. Steps to water. Plenty of room for us with lots of cooking/dining utensils. Chipmans is a great place to get live lobsters or eat in and sit up top to watch water. Only reason for 4star was cleanliness, by no means was it filthy. I realize it was the end of season and I’m sure it will get a good go through before next. The property manager was very attentive and took care of anything we needed. That was nice, especially because we arrived just in front of hurricane Lee. A couple days after it was nice and beautiful out. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is one of the best VRBO experience I have had. The house is wonderful and location is gorgeous.

A perfect Maine retreat away from the crowds. The house was very nicely laid out and extremely well stocked. We made no purchases for basic kitchen items and spices. There were lots of extras that you typically don’t find in a rental.
Great setting with the coming and going of the lobster fisherman. Quiet and peaceful. Very pretty
Good job!!!

This was a great spot for our family & friends to celebrate a 50th bday. There was plenty of room for 8 of us to spread out in the 5 bedrooms. Kitchen well appointed and we enjoyed playing games & enjoying meals overlooking the bay. It is a lobster community and an hour and 15 minutes to acadia. Would highly recommend.

This property impressed all 8 of us from the minute we pulled in the driveway to the last night we gathered around the firepit to toast marshmallows! Each room was so inviting with local charm and all the comforts of home! The kitchen had everything you could need and more! The pantry was stocked with plenty of items, if you needed something and it was a pleasure to leave a few items for future guests.
We spent the 4th of July in Bar Harbor (only 1 hr away!). The shopping, food and sights were fantastic! We all agreed the fireworks display was award-winning!
Our day at Acadia National Park was amazing! We ventured to the West side and hiked Beech Mountain and the Wonderland Trail to the ocean. We spent our final day in Steuben with a hike and picnic in the Petitmanan Wildlife Refuge. Each night we dined at the house was relaxing and fun with boardgames and a beautiful view of the moon over the bay!

My sister and I stayed with both of our families - with kids ranging from 3 to 15 - and we had the best time. The house and the location on the bay are amazing. We spent a couple of days in Acadia but actually spent most of our time either at the house on the beach or about 30 minutes away hiking trails at Schoodic. We had a rainy, foggy week (which is apparently quite unusual for the time of year) but still had a great time. You could do this trip, rain or shine, even with little kids. The host/manager (Ashley) was very responsive and helpful. The house is by far the best stocked house I have ever stayed in, and the owners/manager make extra effort to ensure you have what you need. I found the house to be very clean and appreciated the rustic aspects of the property.

We had such a wonderful time. There was so much to do and we could not do it all! We wish we would have had more time. The house was just amazing and you can spend a whole day just playing games and looking for seaglass and building an oceanside fire right at home. We spent time in Acadia which was magnificent. Our favorite was the Petit Manan wildlife refuge. Beautiful trails and a little more remote than Acadia. Also had a delicious dinner at Ironbound. Thanks for an amazing and memorable time! Would definitely return!

This home is awesome. We had a few challenges with GPS finding it in the rain and fog. But Ashley was there for us and always helped us immediately with any questions or issues. It is an hour and 15 minute drive into Bar Harbor. But after spending the day there is was so wonderful to come back and watch the sunset from the deck or porch. There are wonderful restaurants in Melridge just 15 minutes away. It was emaculate. We believe we got the best of Maine experience with this home combined with our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We highly recommend this home!

Great home with great views of the harbor
The house was great! The views were outstanding. The kitchen was very well stocked. We picked up lobsters and clams at a near by harbor and had a boil. We found a great place for lunch nearby in Corea, Lunch on the Wharf. Great harbor setting and outstanding food. One other local town that we enjoyed was Winter Harbor, great shops and art. The house and host were great.

Maine Vacation
This was a quiet, out the way location. We spent most of our time at the house enjoying the views of the water and relaxing. This was truly a place to get away from it all, but still only an hour from Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Very nice house. Spacious and nice kitchen. Many amenities. Items in pantry we could use and replace
We left closed items for the next renters to have. I do wish there was a way to donate perishable foods that we had left over...such a waste to throw away.

Family Vacation
Our family of eight enjoyed the week taking in the amazing view, having oceanfront bonfires and searching for sea glass - all in our own private front yard! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need without being cluttered. The beds are comfortable, showers provide plenty of hot water and all essentials are provided. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats and changing tide with a great view from most rooms in the house. We took the opportunity to pick up some fresh seafood from the friendly people at Chipman's Wharf and had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare it ourselves! Lots of great memories made! It is close to an hour drive to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. We went on a whale watching tour - amazing! The drive wasn't bad at all and it was well worth it coming back to this home to relax each day! Everything about this stay went smoothly from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation to Acadia
Wonderful property and ease of booking couldn’t have been better! We had such a wonderful stay and we’re quite sad to leave. This property had everything and was perfectly off the beaten path yet still a short ride up Bar Harbor and Acadia sights. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house
This private, quiet, beautiful spot overlooking the cove was a treat! The attention to detail for comfort and ease of stay was remarkable. Everything was of high quality. Everything we needed for the week was there. We loved the coffee bar!
