Bathrooms are gross. !!
Mold ,mildew ,soap scum and the clean towel's are on and next to toilet plunger under the sink.
dishes - they are dirty -with food stuck on them and dried up - bowls, cups, and silverware. We had to wash every dish we used before we used them.
Both bathrooms need to be scrubbed floor to ceiling, including the vanities and both shower curtains.
The dishwasher top rack if you pull on it, it falls down - and the dishwasher is not bolted in place for safety purposes.
The washer doesn't work properly. We have to keep restarting it to do just one load.
The pool was dirty and the pump does not come on not even sure where the switch is. We could see the next-door neighbors pool - pump running to clean it. We were never able to use the pool because of the oily film on top of the pool water.
The second bedroom has a hole in the wall where the doorhandle hits. Closet is not functional with dresser inside the closet and no clothes hangers.
No additional blankets or pillows for the downstairs sleeper sofa. When we pulled out the sleeper sofa, there was stains all over the mattress.
Picture in front room is broken and someone placed it behind the sofa.
The kitchen vent below the 2 bathrooms had what I think is black mold coming out of the vent.
The house needs to be scrubbed floor to ceiling, washing the curtains and blinds and doors and walls.
We have stayed in a variety of VRBO. They have all provided beach towels, salt, and peppers, and other

We LOVED this gem of a villa for our family of four! Staying on Duck Key was the perfect location to be able to explore different parts of the Florida Keys each day during our stay. While the house is not huge, the kitchen, den and half bathroom downstairs along with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs was just the right size for us. Our daughters loved the pool and using the paddleboard and kayak in the channel and harbor right behind the house. A short 1-minute walk behind the house toward the harbor is the perfect spot to watch a beautiful sunset each night. Having a washer and dryer was so helpful! We highly recommend this villa and look forward to returning again one day!

We really enjoyed the time we spent in this property and Duck Key. It was away from the busyness of Marathon, but a short enough drive to enjoy the sites. We particularly enjoyed the pool on the deck and spent many hours there reading and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to prepare meals. If we go back to the area we will likely rent this property again.

The townhouse was very clean inside and outside, especially the pool. The boys had fun fishing right outside the canal that leads into the bay. There are some great mangrove snappers to catch and eat. Overall the place was small, but we made it work. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish there was a squidgy to help remove some of the water in the patio area. Due to the kids splashing in the pool, the patio collected a lot of water.

Great location. Close to fishing charters and great restaurants. A short walk to beautiful sunsets.

The location of this property was ideal for everything we wanted to do (activities from Tavernier all the way down to Key West). Check in was seamless and, while there was never a need to contact the property manager, the communication from them was clear and timely. The pool, landscaping, and overall neighborhood were all lovely. Very resort-like.
That said, we did take note of several maintenance issues. The kitchen chairs were wobbly (and some of the hardware was later found in a fake plant), a cupboard door's hinges were broken, the dishwasher was not secured to the countertop, and the master bathroom toilet has a leak to name a few. A few other reviews have mentioned the lack of kitchen essentials and we found that to be true. To be clear, none of these negatively affected our vacation but should be noted.
Other have mentioned that the beds were uncomfortable but we had no difficulty falling asleep after our long days out in the sun. Relaxing in the pool became a near nightly ritual and whoever maintains the pool is doing a stellar job.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book with this property again.

This place was a dump. They conveniently left out the part of the pool being a soaking tub. The unit was filthy. There were numerous paint chips on stairs, doors, cabinets, there is a cracked toilet, broken kitchen cabinet, the beds were worse than sleeping on the floor, no kpod, old worthless pots and pans, no ice trays, filthy dirty pool, other than that, everything else was good.

We loved the space in the unit, very roomy. The pool was a great bonus. My favorite part was the opening in the trees and the walk to the gorgeous water. We saw parrotfish, shrimp, birds, and lizards there.

My wife and our friends wanted to come down and explore the Keys. So many other Vrbo options were so expensive but luckily we found this listing on Duck Key. It is basically in the middle of the Keys section off the highway and it provided such an easy way of exploring the various Keys without feeling like we were in the car the whole time. We loved unwinding in the personal pool on the patio after a nice day of exploring along with having some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets that we have ever experienced. If you are looking for a place to stay to explore the Keys, then stay here!

Loved the view of the canal from the patio. The water was a beautiful milky aquamarine color. We could have stayed there watching the water all night.

The property was beautiful. The backyard was a fun spot to watch nature and peek for passing by sea creatures in the channel!!
The king Mattress was awful to sleep on, the knife set was dull, the 4 slice toaster only worked on one side and the body board has some concerning cracks so we didnt get a chance to enjoy that amenity

Had the whole family stay for four days in mid-October and it was gorgeous. The villa was lovely, clean, and had all the amenities we expected. Kids loved the complimentary kayak and paddle board. Beds were comfy and our son even noted the pull-out couch was comfortable as well.

The property was clean and well maintained. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do (fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, eating). It was great being able to launch the kayaks directly from the back yard. And also do some swimming and snorkeling right there as well. The private pool was a nice feature. We would definitely return.

Lovely condo on duck cay. Everything we needed was there, raised small concern and it was dealt with within 48 hours. Highly recommend staying in the middle keys for access to all activities. Only thing I didn’t realize is that there was no direct access to water for fishing. Had to walk down to end of the row of condos.

We have stayed in this Villa for two years in a row and it’s our absolute favorite vacation villa in the Florida Keys! It’s perfect for families with the private pool and direct water access out back. Our kids absolutely love taking the kayak and paddle board out in the water just out back. Highly recommend! Everything is perfect.

Not as clean as I would have liked to see, given the fees we pay for cleanliness. Mold in bathrooms for example. Door lock not working in shared down bathroom, embarrassing. Lots of mold around the patio and pool. Otherwise it was good stay..met every other expectation.

Property was nice. First VRBO I stayed in that was more like a hotel with a kitchen. Kitchen was minimally stocked similar to a Hampton Inn &Suites. But all in all nice for relaxing after fun filled days. I just hope the whomever painted the walls and ceiling aren’t trying to make a living doing that.

Listing needed updated. No paddle board, the pool heater never got water past mid 70’s, but it was clean

Great location and a very nice place to stay. Everything was there that we needed. Rental company was great to deal with. We would stay there again.
8.0 / 10.0
Very clean and tidy, not far from popular fishing spots, and close to restaurants and supermarkets. This place has great potential, but also a few drawbacks. For one, the bikes are no where near in working order. Furthermore, the pullout couch is very uncomfortable. The couch hurt one of my parties back. The toilet paper is a little rough so I’d bring your own if you want a better bathroom experience lol. I’d also recommend you bring your own detergent if you plan on using the washer and dryer (which work great) all in all, it was a great stay! Would recommend. The heated pool feature does not come standard so keep in mind it’s extra, and takes about 24 hours to heat.

We had a great stay. Host was very nice. Smoke alarm is very sensitive. View was beautiful. We didn’t get to use the pool due to cold front. Perfect area that is center of the islands to explore other islands. I would absolutely recommend this place, and return for another stay.
