Very pleasant stay in Canterbury

Sunny rooms, good car parking, nice kitchen. Quiet. Restaurants close by and grocery shopping. Comfortable couch and dining area chairs. Host was excellent in providing info about key access earlier as requested . Has a little outside seating area as well. I will definitely recommend this place.

Maybe providing a coffee plunger.

Lovely property and when the above issues are sorted is an excellent place to stay.

Location was excellent for exploring the County of Kent and we enjoyed Canterbury, the visit to the Cathedral was wonderful. Apart from those mentioned below we did not have any problems.

The washbasin in bathroom would not hold water due to the plug not engaging. The towels and bedding were of poor quality with the towels shedding green bits when getting dried after a shower, including on the floor. The extractor fan in bathroom remained noisy for a long time after switching off the light so much so we ended up mostly using the mirror light. The Wi Fi had a life of its own and had to be continually rebooted.

Exceptional

The house was clean and tidy, location is close to city centre and a big supermarket us just few minutes walk. Covered Garage is next to the house. Sez is helpful and responsive. Thank you.

The entrance to the house is via a very narrow lane that you may overlook especially when there was van or car parked around that hindered your view. However, Sez is very patient to help out.

Great first time visit to Canterbury, very enjoyable would definitely recommend staying at Kings Mike House

great location easy to walk into the centre, very clean and very nicely furnished!

unfortunately the double bed was uncomfortable and the bedding looked rather old and tired, would prefer crisp bedding.

Enjoyed our visit to Canterbury

Tastefully furnished and generally well equipped. Good covered parking - once you are in! Nice walk to the city via Great Stour footpath

Poor quality duvets, no pillow protectors. Bedding tired and needs updating. Inside not as clean a we would have expected and he outside area spoiled by rubbish and discarded cigarette butts.

Absolutely contented , with all aspects of our stay , our host ""sez"" ,made our stayvery memorable

Location was perfect , so close to town , making it a real pleasure to myself and family to stroll into town seeing all the numerous venues , including the historic Canterbury cathedral, which we really enjoyed !! 👍

To be honest , I couldn't really fault kings mile House , when we first walked into the property , it really was such a comfort and a pleasure , to see how lovely ,clean ,tidy and very well presented it was , which made our Christmas stay extra special !! 😏

Exceptional house, centrally located!

Wonderful house. Was exceptional clean and comfortable and really well equipped. Bearing in mind how centrally located the house is, it was so quiet and peaceful.

A great city break.

Fantastic location. Beautiful lounge / diner/ kitchen.

Stressful trying to park. Very tight drive and turning circle. Appears spacious on the picture. Bed linens inadequate- some sheets didn’t fit the beds properly. Inadequate pillows.

Modern and confortable property

Very modern and confortable property, very clean, exactly as in the pictures. Located in the city center (less than 5 minute walk to the Cathedral) has a private parking space which allows to use the car to also explore other cities (Dover for example).

The main street right next to the house makes you feel unsafe, we saw people drinking alcohol in the streets, others were drunk laying on the floor. We heard people screaming and police sirens outside the house at night during our stay.

Fab Stay - would definitely use again if in the area

The property is very fresh and modern with everything you could possibly need. It was clean and comfortable and a 10/15 minute walk from the town centre.

My only (very small and insignificant) thing to raise is the front door can be slightly difficult to open and to lock from the inside, although we did learn the knack for it quite quickly.

Perfect house. Loved it.

Very new and comfortable house nearby the centre of Canterbury. Perfect and clean. Nice shower. And there is a superstore around the corner.

No coffeemachine in the house. Wifi isn't great, but the TV with internet makes up for that.
