Tolles Gästehaus mit netten Eigentümern, gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus mit sehr netten und herzlichen Eigentümern. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und darf von den Gästen mitbenutzt werden. Betten sind sehr gut.

Badezimmer im oberen Stock ist etwas klein, es gibt keinen Platz seine Sachen abzulegen.

Perfect location close to the Blue Lagoon and exceptional value! A lovely stay.

Check-in was easy and uncomplicated. Comfortable room with everything you need. The little kitchenette in the corner was unexpected but we took the opportunity to make a nice coffee and small breakfast in the morning. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We had a short but lovely stay. Great location, easy to find, and only a short drive away from the Blue Lagoon. It is an exceptional value and I would recommend staying here!

We had the basement room and were nervous about the door lock only being a small thin key. It was only steps away from the entrance. We arrived late to the property after having dinner at the Blue Lagoon, so there was no more parking available on the property for us. Luckily, we easily found street parking out front.

Der bestes Aufenthalt.

Das Haus war super sauber und geräumig. Obwohl wir morgens um 4 Uhr schon das Haus verlassen mussten, da unser Flug sehr früh ging, gab es ausreichend frisches Frühstück im Kühlschrank zur Selbstbedienung. Von Eiern bis einer großen Auswahl an Müsli und Aufstrich war alles dabei. Als wir angereist waren, war der Self checkin hervorragend und vor Ort gab es sogar einen Kuchen in der Küche zum Essen. Die beste Unterkunft in der wir auf ganz Island waren! 5 von 5 Sternen.

Alles super! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Easy to find and check in, comfy for a brief stay.

Breakfast was satisfactory. The host was communicative and friendly.

One of the beds broke while we were there, but that wasn't anyone's fault but the bed being poorly made.

Parfait

La convivialité et la gentillesse de l'hôte nous font nous sentir chez nous dans une maison très bien aménagée. Tout est en libre service dans la cuisine et le petit déjeuner est fait maison. Nous avons également pu bénéficier de la piscine de Grindavik offerte par notre hôte. Je recommande !

Very welcoming beautiful house near blue lagoon

Nice house with good shared facilities. Kitchen use as your own. Very clean and access to snacks and coffees all day in the kitchen. Easy parking on site.

Location in town is great, parking available on the property and more.nearby. Kitchen is well equipped and nice breakfast is included. Common toilets and douches were.clean and in good condition. Decent beds and nice host.

House.looks rather old and can use maintenance. Wifi point on the floor in the hallway and some wall power points were loose and not safe.

We stayed here for a final night as we had to be at the airport early. The place felt very welcoming, al information was provided by Dagmar, all facilities in place, and we could just have whatever for breakfast as all was present in the kitchen, which was very handy for an early morning.

Great location near the Blue Lagoon and airport. Clean, fantastic kitchen facilities and lounge area, with super breakfast options and great coffee! Awesome hosts.

Very good place to stay

Very welcoming and helpful host. Great location - vulcano, Blue Lagoon,.... Really great breakfast, comfortable common living room, cleanness.

Door slams, door closures needed restore. Missing mirror in shower room, the double bed under the sloping wall seems a bit cramped.

Watch out, these people are lying scammers that will steal your money. Stay in a proper hotel.

I was charged nearly 50 USD for a breakfast, but they never made it for me. These people hate tourists and view us as scum that they can exploit. Really nasty spite ridden people that have a burning hatred for foreigners. Go to a proper hotel where you will be treated with respect. The owners will lie and say that none of this is true, but check out my other reviews. I have stayed in numerous hotels and most are excellent. Don't get involved with these people.

Don't stay here, these people are scammers that will steal your money. I booked the hotel at the last minute, but then had to cancel just over a day later, as I couldn't make it to the hotel because my daughter became seriously ill and I had to fly home to take care of her. They proceeded to charge me the full amount for the stay, including 50 USD for a breakfast that they did not prepare. The owner Dagmar then proceeded to send me a series of abusive emails, basically taunting me about how she was keeping all of my money. She is really crazy and tries to gaslight every situation. You can guarantee that she will reply to this review with some lies about how she is somehow a victim in all of this, even though she has taken 200 USD of my money and gave me nothing in return. Do yourself a favour and go stay in a proper hotel where you can trust the management staff and will be treated with respect. These people will steal your money the first chance they get!
