Enjoy this absolute waterfront property with a range of aquatic activities from your very own private fenced backyard, pull the boat up onto the back lawn or take a short walk down to Frothy Coffee Boatshed, and hire one of their boats/kayaks!
'Ripples on Smiths' offers the most spectacular, sweeping long views of the lake from the wide deck upstairs, patio downstairs and all living areas. With its lawns gently sloping down to the water's edge, 'Ripples' provides ideal waterfront access.
From the moment you walk through the front door, you will find yourself in 'holiday mode'. With its open-plan coastal style living area overlooking expansive views, floor to ceiling glass doors leading on to a wide covered deck that spans the length of the house. The outdoor covered deck area has been newly equipped with fans for summer and outdoor heaters for winter. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, encompassing a self contained air conditioned unit with separate lounge area, bathroom, kitchenette and covered patio. The property boasts a fully functional brand new kitchen, as well as 2 newly renovated bathrooms.
'Ripples on Smiths' is the perfect place to stay; whether you are looking for a relaxing or romantic weekend away from your usual busy routine or wanting a great place to take the kids, where they will have easy access to the water in their very own backyard.
You will find all that you need at 'Ripples', including the use of 2 kayaks and paddleboards.
Surfing beaches are only minutes away with a choice of many - Blueys, Boomerang, Elizabeth, Shelly, together with the beautiful Celito and Sandbar Beach with 4WD access. Visit Celito Beach Littoral Rainforest Boardwalk, which is a short 200 metre walk through a coastal rainforest to the beach at the other end.
At the end of the day sit on your choice of deck and relax with your favourite beverage and watch the lake and its ever changing colours; as the sun sets on the day...a truly breathtaking sight.

Wonderful getaway

Wonderful getaway

We had a relaxing family getaway at Ripples. Beautiful setting and comfy beds! It rained a little but the wonderful outdoor blinds enabled us to still have a great view and sit under the deck. The use of the kayaks and tinny was so great! We loved it!

From the moment we walked in the door we were blown away by the view of the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our early morning boating/kayaking trips to Frothy Coffee and onwards to Celito Beach. It was a beautiful home with an exceptional view weather was a bit rainy for us but we didn't let that ruin our weekend. We did have a power outage in the evening right around dinner time for over 3 hours that was a bit inconvenient and could not find any candles, torches or alternate lighting etc but we just fumbled around with the torches on our phones. All in all beautiful home and location would highly recommend to anyone.

Lake views

Comfortable house for our family group of four with highlight being the changing view of lake and distant forest through the magnificent trees along the nature verge. We only took out the kayaks (there’s a tinny as well); one worked but the other had some sort of ballast problem. No worries - lovely wild Cellito beach nearby for surfing, swimming and bird watching. Only thing we lacked while there: a bit more shade eg large umbrella or awning as it was very sunny on the deck in the afternoon.

Consistent with description and photos. Modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchen, good size living area and comfortable small bedrooms. Nice deck but no cover from rain or afternoon sun without an umbrella. Even the dog had a great time in the garden.

What an awesome location !

What an awesome location !

We loved our stay at Ripples. The lakeside location is so beautiful and tranquil. It was great to be able to bring our fur kids , who loved swimming in the lake and watching the beautiful birds from the deck. I wish we could stay longer. We’ll definitely be back 😁

Arrived at Smiths Lake as it was receiving the biggest rainfall in years! Lovely place with beautiful beaches nearby-Cellito, Blueys and Boomerang Beach. Nice view across the lake when the weather finally cleared!

The property is lovely and comfortable. The views of the lake are spectacular. I had never been to this part of the Mid North Coast and just loved it. Smiths Lake is a really tranquil relaxing place to visit and the surrounding beaches are amazing and to be able to bring your fur baby is wonderful. Highly recommend Ripples on Smiths Lake.

Enjoy the backyard access to Smith Lake, where dogs can play. Short driving distance to beach and supermarket. BYO your bath/shower floor mat as the shower screen leaks. A fair bit of leaves accumulated in the deck and front door on the arrival day, may possibly due to the windy condition. Not a big issue. Overall, it was a great stay!

We had a great three night stay. Particularly liked the big balcony overlooking the lake bathed in afternoon sun, the fenced in yard which was great for the dog and the position right on the lake. Lovely place to relax and unwind.

smiths lake is my fav holiday spot to get away rom the city hustle and bustle. I have stayed at a couple of places in the area, and would say that the amenities here were good, especially Netflix availability for the kids as well as the tinne's for the husband who loves to go fishing. The view is amazing and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. The kitchen is equipment enough to cook at home, especially in COVID times were you probably would avoid dinning in larger groups, we were 10 in total so we prep and mainly ate in. The oven is a bit of a lemon in terms of cooking capability but was clean which is a novelty in many holidays homes. overall I recommend staying here - its comfortable holiday home and perfect for making family memories. The hosts were very responsive when I needed some assistance - so kindly thank them for this.

Escape to the lake

Property was in excellent condition with a wonderful outlook over the lake. Excellent kitchen equipment - more important in these times when it’s necessary to rely on self catering much more than usual. We had plans to kayak on the lake, but it turned out to be much more pleasant to sit on the deck in the sun with a book and a cold chardy. Perhaps next time. Galahs, lorikeets and kookaburras came to visit as we sat there.
