I love Marriott hotels. This one is lovely. We got in super late, in the room at 2am. Unfortunately some guys in the walkway/ally outside our room started construction drills and tools a little before 8am. Not my plan after driving as far as I could the night before. Marriott was so apologetic. They actually comped my room! Above and beyond truly. We're in Indy quite often and I've I'll ready stayed at Marriott 2 more times since this trip do to work - no construction noises since lol. Always a good night's sleep.

Main common areas were dirty. Like elevator and hallways, etc. Very old building. Our window fell off.

A great stay. Close to downtown. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. We will be back.

Jeff is always awesome! Remodeled room was also great!

Hotel was being renovated. Elevators were in terrible condition. Room had USB outlets that did not work. Internet was inaccessible and help was unintelligible via the phone. We expected parking and breakfast to be included.. but both were chargeable. Even though we parked in a public parking area, we were charged We declined breakfast as they charged for that also Staff informed us that the problem was with Hotels. com and

Just stayed 1 night to attend a concert. The room served it's purpose to sleep. The beds could be more comfortable and the inside of the hotel was very dated. We did not use the pool and have any of the breakfast. Choose that hotel for the vanity of downtown, but not in all the traffic, also the price!

Our room had plumbing problems so we had to change rooms. Our first room was nicer than tthe second room.

Let me start off with saying Jeff at the check in desk was hilarious! He definitely made the check in late at night so much better! Our room was great! Bed was comfy and breakfast was typical hotel breakfast

Great place bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the employees. I felt safe too

The front desk staff cut us off when we asked a question. The shower was filled with mold. Could not regulate temp in shower way too hot. Room 160.

I travel handycapped - the room he gave me was the closest one on the first floor but I had to walk over 3 football fields to get to it. Every drawer in the room was standing open so I couldn't get my bag in until I closed them all. The restaurant was short staffed & only served a very limited menu. Bar didn't have items to make the drink(s) I wanted. At least the barmaid was really nice & made me a drink I liked.

This hotel was totally fine. I was there for a convention in downtown Indianapolis, and I was very happy with the facilities. The hotel itself is very large, with several conference areas, a large courtyard, and a decent pool. I didn’t go to the restaurant or bar, but it looked nice.
My room was large enough for my spouse and I with a king bed. We had plenty of space. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but the shower was large, so I can’t complain too much. Everything was decently clean, though I did notice a slight smoke smell in the main hallways. I either got used to it or it went away after a day though, so not anything I would complain too much about.
As other reviews have said, there were not any USB outlets, but there were plenty of electrical outlets in convenient locations, so just make sure you bring a charger. Perhaps that could be a suggestion to management; replace your alarm clocks with ones that have USB charging ports.
The staff was courteous and knowledgeable on the area. Someone was always at the front desk to answer a question, even when I came back late at night.
The area around the hotel is fine. If you’re staying here, it’s probably not to visit in a 1 mile radius, but there is easy access to the interstate. There’s a Starbucks nearby, with a few other food options if you didn’t want to eat at the hotel.
All together, if you’re staying here as a cheaper alternative to downtown Indianapolis, you’ll be pleased. It met everything I wanted.

The property itself was dirty. There was trash in a hallways and elevators. The surrounding area is rundown and ghetto. There's panhandlers and homeless in the streets.
4.0
The hotel and room were “ok.” But the area of town around the hotel was run-down and nasty.
A co-worker told me to check out earlier (I reserved 3 nights), because the hotel wasn’t safe: police serve arrest warrants at that location often.

Check in was great. There was a convention so not sure why only 1 person was avaialble for checkout in the morning...stood in line quite a while for a very quick process.
Very disappointed that at 8:30a the room cleaning person decided to barge INTO MY ROOM. I was in the bathrrom getting ready for a shower and next thing I know my room door opens right up. Unacceptable. And front desk staff hardly apologetic.

It seemed kind of old and tired. Staff was wonderful and helpful and welcoming. You can just tell it’s an old hotel which is fine.

For a Marriott, it’s very outdated. Rooms and bathrooms are small. Hallways were hot. AC unit stopped cooling room after first day. Found ants in the room.

I liked everything about this hotel, but wish they had a designated area for pets to go potty. I didn’t want to go out back at night. It didn’t feel safe, as I was a woman traveling alone.

The hotel needs an update overall. Rooms had only 1 chair, no mini fridge, no USB for cell, no microwave and bad TV reception. We will not be going back!

The room was dirty and there was spots on the bed sheets

So far the room was ok, but the halls were a little dark and the carpet was a little dirty looking
4.0
Rooms are very dated with extremely small bathrooms just not a good experience for the price of the rooms. I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

This hotel had one of the worst smells I’ve experienced at a stay. Every single floor and elevator smelled of bleached and mold.
4.0
The room was large and very nice. The door to the room stuck and made a loud grating noise when it was opened or closed. My room was in the tower and was a a bit of a walk to the conference area.

Found a spider crawling in my bed. After changing to a second room immediately saw a big fly buzzing around. Both rooms smelled of smoke and was really run down.

The property is in terrible condition. I was horrified when I pulled in the lot. I tried the best to make the best of it.The staff are rude and disrespectful and abusive
The condition of the room was nasty and the sheets and comforter was stain and dingy. The furniture in the room was out dated broken and the faucet in the bathroom was broken. the building altogether and the experience was dreadful. I was terrible disappointed receiving the service I did from the Marriott name. Plus I was overcharged and am having to go through several step of leg work to hopefully get my money back from a mistake they made…
I wait to speak with corporate and intend on do everything I can to keep someone else from having to experience the trauma I had with Marriott on what was supposed to be a vacation that I paid a higher price because I thought I would be in a safe loving welcoming environment

Our room had an adjoining room that was very loud at times.
4.0
Outdated! Small bathrooms with low ceilings. Small narrow hallways. Very loud doors that slam to be heard by all. TV never loaded content to watch. Outside courtyard is a fun space but in disrepair & closes at 10pm. Only one very small bar of soap in the bathroom. All very disappointing for the price tag. I would never stay at this hotel again, for even 1/2 price.

Property was as expected.

Better than expected, but my expectations were low. We walked into a hallway that had blood and dirt on it. Address takes you to the wrong side of the building. Everything is expensive and the elevator is slow and very noisy.

I checked into this hotel at 5pm and checked out at 11pm. I couldnt even stay a single night which was frustrating because I paid for a non-refundable room. The hotel is extremely dated which was surprising for the Marriott brand. It is also part of a conference center which I wish I had realized prior to booking. The carpet was worn, the furnishings were also not of the quality I'm used to when traveling with Marriott. I was highly disappointed. I typically stay at the Courtyards so didn't realize the difference across the brand.
There was a sports tournament in the area or something with a bunch of kids staying at the hotel. They were running through the halls, it was extremely loud, and very little supervision going on. I went down to the lobby to speak with the front desk and it was just worse down there. I ended up walking back to my room, packing up, and leaving.
Oh and they charge you for parking which is weird for a hotel that is not downtown.

Nice staff. Clean rooms

The bar/restaurant service was great! The room was a different story. Our room was dirty and had a horrible smell. So bad that I had to open a window to air it out. In addition, there were barking dogs in the room below us that kept us up most of the night.

This hotel overbooked and did not have our reservation. I had a confirmation number but they said they had no rooms. We were far from home with no place to sleep

We had to wait on our room to be ready at a checkin until after 5pm. The room we were given due to the issue was not what we booked through Expedia . Hot tub was dirty with sand and did not work. The pool was cloudy. Breakfast buffet was very good and we had a clean room.
4.0
TV not working, all outlets were loose and charging cables kept falling off from the outlets

Jeff who checked us in was exceptional, he set the tone for the stay. What an asset, you can’t buy that type of customer service.
Thank you very much for hiring him.

Restaurant and bar was extremely understaffed.
