Friends coming to a wedding in St Augustine booked 6-8 rooms (#days varied)
over 2-4 days. Staff is exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Cooked breakfasts are good. Common room has breathtaking bay front view (Nights of Lights picture perfect) and comfortable group gathering space. Rooms are spacious, comfortable basic motel with coffee makers
most with great views. Just across walkable bridge from St Augustine town Plaza. Great!

Always an amazing place to stay. The staff is super friendly and top notch. The best little hideaway in St Augustine with the best views of the historic district. We will be back soon!

Pleasantly surprised!
A one night anniversary getaway with my wife, till Hurricane Helene invited herself...
Few minute walk over the Bridge of Lions to downtown St Augustine - but many places were closed due to the approaching storm.
Hotel gave us an upgrade to a waterfront room.
Glass of wine overlooking the river.
Hotel staff were SO nice and accommodating.
Rooms and lobby are updated and spotless!
Nice morning breakfast overlooking the river.
Will Definitely return!

The whole hotel was shabby and dated, broken sink, blood on sheets, could not use the pool as rpthere was weeds growing between the tiles, pool was green, food was aweful, morning staff lady was horrible, not friendly m snappy , not a nice or friendly person, everything was such an inconvenience, even had to ask for orange juice like it was short on supply and only allowed 1 drink, fruit was sparse, even cut grapes in half to make it look more, bread and raisin bread was stale, deck was rotten and nails all over the place, rot and mold all over the outside,. I had a crab on pillow, and flying crawly bugs the night before we left. I have a lot of photos for you. I could not shower for 4 days as there was no hand rails or seats and the tiles on the floor were glazed and so slupoy, I am disabled and the whole situation was a nightmare, even after changing rooms it was not good, please contact us.

Staff was friendly and helpful in the room was very spacious with a great view and close enough to the bridge of lines where you can walk across to city.

We loved our grownup getaway and stay at Edgewater. The view was amazing from our private area on the deck. The sunset over St Augustine was phenomenal. What I need to know……what is the mattresses they use?!? I seriously wanna buy one! It was so comfortable. The room was cute and very clean. The staff was friendly. The walk across the bridge was perfect. My ONLY complaint….maybe the deck would use a sanding. Def don’t walk on there barefoot. Thank you for making our adult getaway perfect.

This is a small inn right on the bay. The room was small but clean and comfortable. It had a walkout to the porch that overlooked the bay and downtown St. Augustine. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating.

Great location and view at the foot of the bridge!! Perfect walking distance to town and driving distance to the beach.

It was adequate. Good location. And breakfast was a nice touch.

Nice quiet stay, right by the bay and the Bridge of Lions. Provided patio seating for you to watch the boats, wildlife and the beautiful city. Only thing that needed work was the decking around the patio area. Had some weak spots. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Very comfy bed. Would stay here again.

My friend and I stayed here for one night and it was so adorable. Just a really cute clean motel and the waterfront is beautiful. We actually went to the Hilton and Daytona Beach and we're so disappointed. We wanted to go back to Edgewater inn!

This is a reinvented motel from the 1960s. It’s clean and comfortable and is appealing because you can walk out of your room and be on the water and look out to the Bridge of Lions and St. Augustine.

Great place. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful view!

I would consider this a boutique hotel because of the service provided by the hotel. Wish got a room with a view but they have a couple of cheaper rooms in the back. It’s a bit of a walk to historic downtown but I handled it no problem. The funnest part of my trip was mixing it up with the locals at the nearby pubs and brewery.

Loved the room and no issues during our stay.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Edgewater Inn. The location was so convenient, and the patio room view was very nice and soothing. The man that checked us in was very welcoming and friendly. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because on the morning of check out which is 11am by the way a male house keeping staff member entered our room without knocking at 9:50am. Thankfully the bathroom door was closed as I was getting dressed after just showering however my guy wasn’t pleased at all as he was laying in bed. He didn’t apologize or say anything he just backed out the room and shut the door. When asked as we were leaving why he didn’t knock, he stated he thought we were gone and had checked out. This was unacceptable and shouldn’t happen again. Other than this our stay was pleasant. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. We didn’t attend happy hour although I wanted to. With reassurance that we won’t have anyone entering our room unannounced again we will definitely be returning!

Edgewater Inn is our new perfect place on the bay. Right next to Lion's bridge, so easy to walk across & get into town. Very clean... the outside doesn't do the inside justice. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was so kind & pleasant. The surprise was the breakfast. 💯% recommend this location & will return.

I am unhappy with my room. I paid to upgrade for water view and didn’t receive water view room. I also selected to pay at property and was charged on Monday for check in on Thursday.

The lovely ladies there made a delicious breakfast casserole and they had a social hour as well!! Our room was really spacious and pleasant. Maybe my best hotel stay ever!!

It's a pleasant and unique place to stay. You can walk across the Bridge of Lions and be right in town. Our room was spacious and while I was a tiny bit disappointed I didn't have my own deck overlooking the water we did sit on the deck outside the office. Very nice!!

A fantastic find for our one night stay in St Augustine! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful through the check in process and breakfast! The room was lovely! Clean and fresh and the door opened right up on a perfect view of the city and river!

Beautiful view of the bay and sunset. Breakfast included an egg casserole. Wine and cheese in the afternoon. Bed average but okay. Nice shower.
Needs black out curtains as there are a lot of lights on around the property.

Rick, who checked us in, was the best. He was friendly and informative. This is our second stay there, and we will definitely be back.

The staff were rude to us. The rooms were dirty and dusty. There were no bars in the showers. We were told they had no ADA compliant rooms. We had four people in our room and were told every room only gets three towels. When asked we received towels but again the staff acted like they were annoyed by our request.

Updated room with a great view. Very nice dining room with wonderful view and good food.
Unfortunately the electrical outlets didnt work on 3 of the walls, so no tv or fridge.
The shower looks beautiful but is non functional. There was no shower curtain and no rod for a curtain, so the floor was flooded.
