A nice warm, friendly welcome when we first arrived. Hosts made us feel very welcome. Our room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. A nice touch was the bicuits and crisps in our room on arrival. Top quality full english breakfast, all fresh and tasty. Cant fault it in anyway and would definitely recommend

We had an amazing time staying at Yew Tree Farm! We came to visit family in Bedford (only a 30 minute drive away), but also to see the National Computing Museum and Bletchely Park. Our hosts were fantastic, they chatted with us whilst making a delicious breakfast and were very knowledgeable about the local area.
Our room itself was a great size and we loved having gardens to walk around in. They also have a small zoo of sorts (ducks, a goose, chickens, zebra finches, cats, a dog), which we loved. Every amenity was provided for, and it was very thoughtful to leave us snacks (and top them up on the second day!).
They also had a book of suggestions of places to visit in the local area, of which we had a lovely dinner in the Crooked Billet and in the Three Arms. The former was no more than a 10 minute walk away, whereas the latter was a 5-10 minute drive (apparently also walkable but about 30 minutes). Our our way to Bedford we also drove past Woburn Safari park and loved looking out at the deer- if we had longer, we'd certainly like to go back to that.
Overall, we'd love to come back to Yew Tree Farm, we just don't know when we'll next be in the area! But thank-you so much for having us, and especially for the very tasty vegetarian sausages- I have just bought some more for myself!

Such a friendly host and couldn't do enough for you. Nice quiet location with a generous garden to use.

Quiet setting with excellent hosts

The room was a good size in its own outbuilding . The level of drinks and snacks provided was excellent and there was an outside private table and chairs. We enjoyed a short stroll through the garden and wooded area..The owner gave us a very friendly welcome and we have no reason to think that breakfast will be anything other than excellent .
We weren't so impressed with the local pub, the Crooked Billet , however , and wouldn't recommend it as a place to eat, although it is within walking distance .

Every home comfort provided, very clean and comfortable room, absolute peace and quiet. Very friendly and welcoming hosts and superb breakfast cooked to order. All at a very reasonable price. An added bonus for us - as cat fans - was the lovely friendly cat who spent the evening in our room happy to be made a fuss of. Hope to make a return trip in the future.

Had a lovely stay and the cakes were fantastic, recommended to anyone!

Very clean, spacious room with comfy beds. More storage in the bathroom would be beneficial, even if it was a hook on the back of the door for your towel or clothes.
Breakfast was disappointing, with more attention on the appearance of the food than the quality of the cooking.

The B&B was very comfortable. We had a goodnight sleep. The breakfast was vey good and they prepared a packed breakfast for my husband who decide not to have breakfast before preaching.

We had a very pleasent 2 night stay with hosts Josh and Lyn who made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and Josh's cooking skills at brekky were brilliant, loved his bacon and scambled eggs, yum! The orange juice was to die for too. The room was very nicely decorated and a decent size. We loved staying in a small village but still only a few minutes drive into Milton Keynes itself. Thankyou again for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic little spot on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, close to all attractions, the service and welcome were second to none with a fantastic breakfast.
If we are in the area again, we wouldnt hesitate to book again.

I booked quite last minute (following a cancellation at the property) for the British F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone and my word, was it the best choice I could have made!
Upon arrival I was greeted by Josh who advised me on where to park and handed me the key to my room. I had many interesting chats with Josh during my stay as he was knowledgable on F1, the local area and shared interests of music and sports. His wife, Lynn, was equally as lovely and chatty…and made the best eggs I’ve ever tasted! Honestly such a fantastic couple who ultimately welcome you on to the grounds of their own home.
The room was large and spotless, anything you needed was either replenished daily or available upon request. Nothing was too much for Lynn and Josh, and breakfast was exceptional each day - whatever you want, cooked at your request. The area is beautiful too, although I didn’t have time to explore much as I attended Silverstone for 4 days in a row, which was only a short drive from the property.
As a female travelling alone, I always felt safe and comfortable at the property. All in all, I couldn’t recommend Yew Tree Farm enough. I’ll definitely be back…whether that’s for a trip to Silverstone or local exploring!

Good clean accomodation and very friendly owners. Excellent breakfast cooked before your own eyes and hence fresh and hot. Nothing too much trouble and site close to amenities for evening meals and Bletchley Park. Would suggest a hook on the bathroom door if being picky.

Great little hideaway with a personal touch. Josh and Lynn made us very welcome as well as providing a made-to-measure breakfast. Location wise awkward if you don't have a car but ideal for MK Bowl and nicer than staying in a big hotel in town. Rooms in good condition and comfortable beds. Also a lovely small pub nearby which was ideally placed.

A perfect stay! Josh and Lynn, the owner couples, are exceptioally nice and friendly. Room and dining area are comfy, clean and tidy in addition to quiet and peaceful surroundings. More, itnjoys a good location to reach London, Oxford, Warwick, etc within a short driving. Love it!

Very homey feel. Kitchen and dining area are in a single room. Host prepares breakfast as he chats a bit with the dinners.

Superb stay. The room was in tip top order and the breakfast choice was amazing. Best thick cut marmalade I have ever had at a B and B. A brilliant choice when visiting Bletchley Park and a great meal at the nearby Dolphin in Stoke Hammond. Will definitely return.
