Old historic building with attached restaurant. Live music and friendly staff. Would stay again. Please note, in their description they are honest and say that music plays until 12:30-1am. It did but they offer ear plugs which definitely helped! Would stay again!

My sister and I had an awesome visit to this hotel. The front desk clerk and all the wait staff were super friendly and very helpful. We ate dinner twice and lunch once at the Inn. We had Shepherds pie, Fishermans pie, Meatloaf Wellington and Mushroom risotto. They were all fantastic and plentiful. We also had the fish and chips for lunch. Again, yummy and plentiful. There was no mini fridge, but there was an ice bucket, which the restaurant always filled for us. The room was old, but well maintained. It was very clean. The hotel was within walking distance to both theaters. We will return next year.

It's a charming old property, really well located, which is what attracted us. The downsides are that they have no parking and no arrangements for any - so you have to find street parking several blocks away, where there are no restrictions, so you can leave a car for the duration of your stay (you certainly do not need a car in town).
On the nights they have live music it is very loud. We were warned about that when we made the booking, so we can't complain about that. And, as they reminded us several times, as a very old building they are limited in what they can do. So while it was a nice stay, we can say "been there/done that" and wouldn't likely book it again.

Very lovely stay at Niagara on the Lake.
There was live music on the thursday that we stayed.
Our room was the Sweetheart Room. Was very comfortable, fair size and good bathroom.
The location was great with lovely locals walks, lots of nearby vineyards and right near the little high street.

Very clean but 200 year old bldg so some minor inconveniences

It was a great bed and clean room. It is an excellent condition very old building (1789). If you want a good night’s sleep on the weekend, this may not be the best place for you since they have live music downstairs until 12:30 AM. At least we could sleep in. The location at Niagara On The Lake is excellent as everything is walking distance to the inn.

Small cosy room, great food, great service at F&B and reception, live entertainment.

The building is beautiful and holds onto the history well. We have eaten here on a few occasions, but this was our first stay. The rooms are dated, small TV, older bathroom - however, it was worth it for the authenticity of the building. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. There was an air conditioner in our room, which was nice. A wonderful location right on the main street near many restaurants and shops. Also right down the street from the view of the river. Everyone was lovely and accommodating. No sign of the ghost though, drat!

Clean cozy room in historic property. Lacks modern amenities, but very nice. No elevator for second floor rooms - no ground floor accessible restroom. Free parking a block away on street.

The place was conveniently located but didn’t have dedicated parking. Hence, we had to park along the street some distance from the hotel. There was a live band that night so it was noisy, as there wasn't adequate acoustics. The hotel is in a rather old building, so there's not much that can be done unless one does a complete rehabilitation.

Fun to stay in a haunted inn! Comfortable bed. Close to everything. Food at the pub was fabulous. Staff was really great. The lock on the door was not good. The bathroom was pretty clean, but the grout could use a good cleaning. It’s an old place, but those two things should be addressed.

Rented a cottage and it was awesome

Great value, cool history, shoutout to Diana for being awesome at the desk and having plenty of recommendations. Pub was great too!

The Inn is quite lovely and the foos in the pub was excellent. We stayed in the Sweetheart Room and although the bed was a double the mattress was very comfortable and the bathroom amenities were perfect. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed for one night, during the Niagara on the lake peach festival. Very cute room, comfortable bed. Weekends they do have a live band, so it gets loud in the room, but we didn’t because we were at the bar the whole time.. fun crowd, good drinks, and good food. I would recommend staying there.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and the building are quaint, historic and charming.
Because of the age of the building sound travels. It is above a pub. People stand outside the pub, talking and smoking. It sounds as if they are in the room. We were lucky there was no live music on the nights we were there. It would have been impossible to sleep. We could hear the conversation of people in the pub below. We could hear the scraping of chairs. In the mornings when they were cleaning the pub, the floor of my room rattled with the vibration. The air conditioning wasn't very strong. The mattress was comfortable but very hot.

I love spooky stories and I have always wanted to stay here. Our experience was wonderful.

This was the perfect stay for our situation. We attended a wedding down the street and enjoyed being able to walk around the town the next day. The building is old, but clean and we were comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helpful welcoming.

Quaint boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. We stayed on a Friday and we were overtop of the live band in the bar which played until 12:40 am therefore no sleep until 1:00 am

Do not stay. Band is so loud that floors and bed will vibrate. They should not be renting rooms or put a warning in the listing. Shower is tiny. Reception mentioned after check in that band plays till 1200, they continued till 1222. Do not expect to get any sleep till pub is closed.

It was a lovely old inn. However the A/C was faulty. Our stay was during a heat wave and two of the three nights we stayed there the A/C was not working properly which made the room very uncomfortable

Staff were friendly. Room was ok.

Good location, with easy parking nearby. Historical building - furnishing old - no phone to call concierge, also limited time of service.
Noise from music till 12:30.

First, as others have mentioned if you need complete quiet, do not stay here.
That being said, we loved the room we had and the atmosphere. The band playing downstairs had no impact on our sleeping.

The stair force so accommodating and friendly they really bent over backwards for us!!

DO NOT stay here on the weekend under any circumstances!!! The band was supposed to stop playing at 12:30 am, but was still playing at 1:20 am.
Actually, I would not stay here again on any day. The room is very uncomfortable and the shower is as small one you would find in an RV. There are many other places to stay. The inn does have a great location.
The town is beautiful and easy access to Niagara Falls.

Great place to stay for visiting the Niagara-on-the-Lake area. Friendly staff that go out of there way to accommodate. Historic room with super comfy bed and it's great to be able to just walk down the stairs and enter the restaurant/pub area. A

Great pub but you don't want to stay there for a good night's sleep. Told us that there was music "on the weekend" so booked for Wed. & Thurs. but the music started Thursday.
